Condo - AHost - FNice condo and as advertised. The complex is a tad old and run down (Missing ceiling panels in hallway, beat up elevator, etc.) but acceptable overall. Clean, fully stocked, comfortable bed, and great view. The unit does not offer any security when inside, only the external access keypad. There was a cheap broken chain lock with exposed 1" screws falling out. I requested the host fix and she ignored my request and just told me not to worry and no one had the access code. Considering that there was only a exterior door key access lock and separate key lock-box on the outside door and TN's high crime rate, the host’s dismissal of my request showed a lack of concern for guest safety forcing me to prop a chair against the door while inside.Every hotel room or rental I have ever been to offers inside security lock for the guest. Only recommended if host fixes problem offers future guest secure inside lock.

Weekend trip

We have stayed at Mountain View a few times and it has always been an enjoyable experience. The amenities help to keep the kids busy outside, the view was beautiful and the space was nice. Upon arrival we did notice dirty bed linens on the master bed but after notifying Traci, they sent up some new linens for us. We would definitely stay here again. It’s a great location for families.

Great location, large space

The condo itself was spacious, mostly clean, and the location was outstanding. Overall great value for the money. The only issue we had was with the shower. It is very small, old, and not super clean. The shower floor looked like it had not had a good bleach scrubbing in a long time, I really didn't want my bare feet on it. There was also a black rusty thing protruding from the wall in the shower that should probably be addressed - I'm sure something was hanging there and broke off a long time ago. If the owners would renovate that bathroom with larger shower, this place would be perfect. Everything else was great.

Great Location & Good Value For The Price We Paid

This 1 bedroom condo was very spacious and is in a great location. It was near all the things we wanted to do like zip lining, mountain coasters, dinner shows, and The Island. It was very close to tons of restaurants you could walk to too! The 2 pools were easy to access and the grounds were kept very neat and tidy. The condo itself was pretty well maintained, everything worked the way it was supposed to and the kitchen was very clean. Although, most of the furniture had noticeable wear and tear on it and some other little things that we noticed made it feel more like a 3 star hotel room and less like a home-y vibe VRBO. Like the noticeable mold in the toilet bowl and a strange rusty spot on the wall of the shower. But, the one free ticket each day to places like Dollywood and pirates voyage and wonder works really made up for the “hotel vibe.” We had a wasp issue on the balcony, so we didn’t really get to use it much. Year, all in all, for the price we paid it was definitely a value. If your planning to be out of the condo enjoying the pools or attractions most of the day , then it’s a nice place to stay. If your looking for a luxury condo to stay, this is not it.

Quiet even in the Middle of town

Everything was great. with two exceptions, the silverware and dishes which were put away in the cabinets and drawers were dirty and there were not enough towels and bath cloths. We had to wash them to have enough for the last day. I would stay here again!!

Great location. Fantastic View!

This unit is on the 7th floor and the view from the balcony is gorgeous! It's location is very convenient, right off the main strip. The indoor pool is nice. The outdoor pool wasn't open yet, but looked nice. The complimentary tickets to Dollywood and other attractions are a nice plus!

Good, but not excellent.

The view from the balcony was lovely, the bunk beds were a plus, and the location was ideal. The fireplace was unusable, the linens could stand to be replaced, and the communication about concerns (such as the heat not working) was less than I would’ve hoped for- but the heat was handled quickly and we appreciated that. Overall it was as expected for the price.
