Home away from home

Cozy,comfortable close to restaurants attractions,shopping and cade cove. Easy o find. Bed is very comfortable. Loved all the decor,Exspecially the bear coffee table. Its a good thing it was to big to fit in my car. We come every year,sometimes twice for the last 25 years this is one of our favorites. We will be back.

The front porch light didn't work made it unsafe at night. The dining table was wobbly and screws falling out. Only a loveseat and a uncomfortable rocker cabin had all the accessories you needed will pick a different cabin next yr

Wonderful cabin!

The location was amazing, felt secluded enough without being far from restaurants and attractions. The cabin was sparkling clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!

Less than optimal place to stay

Well this will be a lengthy one. 1. Upon arrival there were spider webs on both front and back porches that have been there for quite so time. 2. The bathroom: toilet seat is broken only attaches on one side. The floor in the bathroom is / was filthy and the register cover is rusted and needs replaced. The decorative item above the toilet is covered in layers of dust. The bathroom has black mold along the baseboard and now I am sick. I have an allergic reaction to mold. 3.living room the love seat needs replaced when you sit on it you sink to the bottom of the love seat and hit the springs. 4 we were not told that we need to provide our own streaming service 5. Kitchen The vent over the oven has not been cleaned in months. The blind in the kitchen is broken. The refrigerator is missing the rails to hold in condiments and the bolts in the freezer area are rusted. 6 Washer is nasty and needs to be cleaned if not replaced. 7 the decorative decour is nice but very dirty. We actually checked out early since I was getting sick from the mold. Overall very dissatisfied with the stay. I would like to obtain a 50% refund if possible. I also have pictures if you would like them on the comments made above. Pam Hanson

30th Anniversary getaway

Great location. Nice cabin enjoyed our stay however there was a lot of popping and cracking noises going on day and night from the walls and roof really loud at certain times. Never could figure out what was causing it. Overall was a good experience.

Anniversary trip

Overall the property was nice. But, there were only 2 towels and 2 wash cloths for our 6 day stay. When I requested more I was told to wash them daily. We ran out of trash bags as I had to empty daily due to only having about a 3 gallon trash can. I requested more trash bags and never got them. We were hesitant to use the hot tub due to poor support under the deck. It didn’t appear safe as one of the supporting posts was twisted. Do not recommend Vacasa property.

Worst VRBO listing I have stayed in

The exterior of the cabin is in great shape and as pictured. The interior needs major renovations and cleaning. The hot tub cover has exposed pieces of metal sticking out that is a major hazard. The floor was more comfortable than the bed. The couch looks at least 20 years old. Just needs a little TLC

Relaxing Week Away

Perfect getaway for 2. Loved that we were able to take our Furbabies. Only complaint was extremely low water pressure on shower. But the Giant Tub in bedroom is amazing.

Potential to be better

Upon arriving the cabin smelled strongly of dog pee and there were some wet spots in the floor. We tried to connect to WiFi and realized the router had been chewed on and so had the cord so it was no longer working. The property itself has potential to be nice as the hot tub and layout of the cabin is nice for two people. The location is also good. But it was very disappointing to see the cleaning from the previous guests was not handled well or checking over the cabin to see the WiFi was broken. Definitely could have been better.

Great stay! Loved the private hot tub! Easy check in and check out. King bed very comfortable, and extra blankets in closet. Good location, away from action, but still close. So glad we got to bring our little dog. Needs more dishes and silverware. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

Wonderful cabin…Hot tub great! Needs a good cleaning and TLC. Cute decor sitting around but covered in dust. Loved the signs hanging around. Has water damage from roof and fireplace leak. Mold and mildew on ceiling- yes it’s mold. Dust balls on walls throughout (look behind bathroom door). Loved the location and the layout of cabin and was probably a 5star cabin but needs some attention. Property needs some upkeep as well. Roofing tin from a wind storm on a cabin across the street was scattered around the property. Hardscapes like decorative fencing (next door apparently car ran through) torn down and brick around shrubs were scattered about… if your going to have them then it needs to be maintained. Just being honest. Has so much potential!

Concerns

We are in our early 70s. Need one step to get on porch. Water pressure in shower almost non-existence. The couch, if you call it that, is more like a torture chamber. It is more like something for the porch. Had to bring chairs from bedroom. Tv sort of complicated to figure out. A couple of HVAC vent were broken and I removed so air would flow through. Extra pillow in closet did not have a pillow case. A small night stand large enough for phones and a plugin that you don't have to move the bed to get to would be nice. Roach in kitchen. A small step stool for the bed would be helpful. Location was good. We liked the cabin and enjoyed the stay but I thought you should be made aware of these items. Side note-I am a licensed contractor in S.C. I just thought that you should be made aware. If this had been my first time with VBRO, it would probably be the last. I just hope someone reads this. Thank you.

Perfect Getaway Spot

Cabin in need of a lot of TLC!!!

1. Needs better seating options. No where to sit comfortably and watch tv after a long day of walking around pigeon forge and gatlinburg. We had to watch tv in bed which is something you don’t always want to do. 2.Blinds on front door were broken. 3. Front door lock did not make us feel safe while we were gone or while we were there. Felt like anyone could have given the door a good kick and got it. 4. The deck area with the hot tub was very creepy. Was afraid to even sit out there for fear of spiders and snakes. 5. Stove was extremely old. I was actually afraid to use it. 6. The bed quilt was so old it was literally shredding in some places. 7. Need better side tables on the side of the bed. My husband has a cpap machine and we had to bring one of the dining room chairs in the bedroom room for him to sit his cpap on. 8. The area rug in the living room was disgusting. We were afraid to walk on it without shoes. I am sorry to be so negative. We were there for only 48 hours and if our trip had been any longer we probably would have left to go a hotel. It just seems these are easy/ inexpensive fixes that could/ should be made. Thanks and we hope these are issues that can be rectified for future guests. Thanks Paige.
