"This cute and quaint farmhouse cottage was exactly as described and the perfect home base for our family’s hiking and waterfall exploration getaway. We visited over Labor Day weekend and enjoyed exploring the local area, including Pigsah National Forest, DuPont State Forest, Hendersonville Apple Festival, and Brevard shops and restaurants. The cottage is wonderfully situated to take advantage of the areas natural surroundings. A short 5 minute drive to a five waterfall hike in DuPont forest,...

"This house was perfect!! Exactly as pictured, extremely clean, and very nice. Close enough to downtown Greenville for a night out, but the feeling of staying in a secluded mountain house. The shower was amazing, bed was very comfy and the screened in porch with tv/fireplace was great to watch a game. "

"Beautiful and cozy home with a great ambiance! We loved staying here. The hot tub was such a bonus! Everything was perfect with the home! Unfortunately, while we were in town we thought ubering would be possible since rental cars were pretty pricey. Don’t be like us! Spend the money on a rental and avoid the headache! We ended up paying a busboy at 185 king street to get back to the house haha Everything else was perfect!"

"Beautiful and relaxing!! If you're a nature lover you can't ask for more!! Surrounded by Rhododendron on a creek with many little waterfalls....and trout.....at the end of a gravel road! Moss covered boulders that when we walked up to front of the cabin many little blue/purple butterflies exploded up from the ground!!! Wow!!"

"This place was great! I’m handicapped and use a walker, so I was pleasantly surprised that there were no stairs to get inside. We never checked out the backyard or the play structure since we didn’t have any kids. Carol was great and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. And as a bonus it was just a few houses away from one of my sister-in-laws! We will definitely be coming back!"

"Great location for a quiet place to relax but still close enough to go and eat if you want to. Has comfortable sleeping areas and a nice hottub to relax in. Everything at the property functioned as it is suposed to with modern appliances. Had a great stay to say the least. Great host as well Michelle was very professional gave us all the information that was needed with out be overbearing thank you "

"We had another amazing stay at the Hideaway this year. This house is immaculate and we felt very much at home here. So close to downtown Brevard, we could walk to grab a coffee in the morning or enjoy some evening drinks as we strolled through the shops. Though we didn't get to take advantage of the fire pit this year, we appreciate that there was wood available for us! The owner is always quick to respond to questions. We have already booked a week for next year! "
