Nice

Nice hotel, good vibes, staffs are very friendly and helpful in whatever you need, nice pool, free coffee, free mat for the beach, about 15-20 minutes walking distance from Kata Beach, business and restaurants ... The only con, our bed was a box spring instead of a mattress so it was kind of really hard and difficult to sleep on ...

Quiet but far from the beach

This is a nice little place on the main road but a good 30 minute walk to the beach. It’s much quieter than any place on the beach, which is nice. Staff was friendly and room was nice. Power can be tricky. Rainfall shower head was lovely and shower is large. Nice to have a separate toilet. Breakfast is served at a different hotel across the street. If you’re vegetarian or vegan there are no Thai options to eat, just cereal and fruit and toast.

Very pleasant experience

We stayed two nights here and were satisfied with our room and service. The two guys were very kind and they upgraded us to the superior room which was very nice. Big and comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The guesthouse was quiet and peaceful even though its located near busy street.

The owners were great! Anything I needed they found a way to accommodate, they even took me up to the Big Buddha on their scooter. Great experience!

Hospitable and cozy

Spacious room, quiet location, quick access to the pool, and a relaxing atmosphere with very hospitable owners. Helped us find a place to rent a scooter, when all of their scooters were rented.

Il cambio di gestione non ha certamente giovato all'hotel. l'esterno è lasciato andare (perfino i taxisti non riuscivano a trovarlo). L'assistenza è ridotta al minimo (non avevano neanche la mappa dell'isola) oltre alla stanza ed alla colazione il motto è "arrangiati a fare tutto"- non lo consigliamo

The best hosts you'll ever meet.

We were lucky to find this place - it's a great and comfortable hotel, with the best hosts you'll ever find. The couple who run this place is amazing, very helpful and friendly. You can also enjoy the pool - very clean and convenient. You have to walk for maybe 20 min to get to the beach, but I think it was worth it. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Order the breakfast - delicious , simples and fair price.

Best place in Phuket

Winnie and T take great care of you. Super relaxing place. Rooms are clean and modern. Nice pool and breakfast every morning. I extended my stay because I like it so much!

Best Hotel in Phuket!!! A fabulous place to stay

We stayed at the Boondaree for a total of 7 nights and then ended up extending our stay as we loved it so much. The staff are lovely nothing is too much bother, they helped us book trips and transport and gave us some great advise about where to visit in Thailand. The room is fab great aircon very clean and a good size bathroom with shampoo and shower gel. The staff even let us keep our bags with them while we went to visit the islands for a week. We will definitely return it's BRILLIANT!!!

Quiet hotel

If you want a quiet hotel with a pool and great wifi this is for you. About 20 min walk from beach of 5-10 bike ride. Extremely helpful hosts who go above and beyond to make sure you get where you need to go. Can't say enough about them

Best hotel We used in Thailand.

This was the BEST hotel we stopped in out of 8 hotels in Thailand all around the same price. The couple who run it are lovely and are more than happy to help you with anything you need. Breakfast isn't included but is really tasty and cheap so I recommend it as a good start to the day. It's a little far from the beech but it's easy to get a tuk tuk. I can see this place becoming so popular that it's difficult to get a room so book while you can. Thanks Boondaree!

Boondaree...a home away from home!

There are so many great things about this hotel, I find it hard to capture it all in this review! When I first read the other great reviews, I was skeptical, but from the moment we arrived, this place deserves the 5* ratings. Not only are the couple who run the place highly responsive to emails, they are accommodating, flexible, and always warm, friendly, helpful, and greet you as if you were a old friend they have not seen for a long time. Their attention to details was excellent, and they are always available to make your stay extra welcome and special. The hotel itself is quaint and cosy, like a boutique, which has a sense of calmness and serenity that made us feel at home. It is very safe, and conveniently located. Will definitely return.

Our stay at Boondaree

The owners are very kind and caring. They were helpful to us with transportation and directions. The pool area is very relaxing and inviting. The wifi was excellent (the best we have had in SE Asia for the last 5 weeks). We rented a motor scooter from them with no problems. We noticed they spread the guests out in the rooms so that everyone wasn't right next to each other (very nice!)

The best Hosts ever!!

I was traveling alone and staying one night in Karon beach before flying back to Singapore. The hotel is so cozy and well decorated inside but the owners are absolutely wonderful AND they have the cutest little puppy. They made feel at home and even sent me off the way Chinese families do where they stand and wave to you until you're out of sight. I hope people treat them & reciprocate the same heart-warming respect and graciousness back - you guys are amazing! I'd def go back.

Fantastisk service.

Kjempe happy med hotellet,gang avstand til stranden. Men manglet fortau på visse steder,pluss at det kunne være vanskelig og krysse veien på dagtid. Men trolig de hyggeligste to menneskene jeg har møtt i Thailand som jobbet i resepsjonen fra morgen til kveld,snakket perfekt engelsk og hjalp til med alt. Hadde tannlege time på ett av to sykehus men vi viste ikke hvilket,det fiksa de for oss med en gang pluss sjåfør. Et lite,men koselig basseng var det også der. Rett nedenfor lå det en motorsykkel klubb som hadde live musikk og servering hver kveld. Gratis grill mat fikk vi også en kveld. Tenker kanskje skumle MC folk,men det er så langt unna du kan komme,var innom hver kveld for en prat,drikke og live musikk. Dette hotellet bor jeg gledelig på igjen,får veldig mye for pengene her.

A great family run guesthouse

We had an amazingtime at the Boondaree home resort. Minnie & T could not have been more helpful and accommodating to us during our stay. The walk to the beach is about 15 - 20 minutes so bare that in mind. But its worth it at night when you want to relax and have some time away from it all. The rooms are big and spacious and the pool is great to come back to after a day at the beach, there are two 7-11's within 5 minutes walking distance. We would return if we stayed in phuket again.

A nice family owned hotel.

Overall an enjoyable stay here. The rooms are a little small and basic but acceptable. The road noise was intruding. Staff were fantastic.
