Backyard Shangri-La

The location was excellent with all the outdoor recreation very close. Shopping was very handy…. The backyard was the draw for us. Very large yard with pool and hot tub, plus a large tree with many varieties of birds singing. We would return.

Some disappointment

Communication with the property manager L8Vacations was very good at first. However, we reported some important issues as soon as we arrived (BBQ didn't work, broken spa cover and lights) and no one came to fix anything during our week-long stay. Living room furniture is worn out but beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Location is very good and in a quiet neighborhood. We would recommend it after the owners repair what's broken and invest to refurbish the place.

Great location for Spring Training games

The property had everything we needed from cooking to hot tubbing to lounging. The beds are very comfortable. Justin was great to work with and answered any questions we had as well as remedied one issue quickly with the hot tub. I would recommend this house in a quiet neighborhood. The only interesting deal was how low the light switches and mirrors are but that’s not an issue.

Overall good

The property was clean and the kitchen was well supplied with cookware and dishes. The online pics were accurate except the outside pool table was junk. Beautiful pool/backyard. Check in was easy except I had to contact the team person assigned to us the day prior to us arriving as I hadn’t heard anything from him.

Great stay - would recommend!

The property manager Justin went above and beyond helping us with the checkin/out process and helping us figure out the coffee maker - believe me - it’s harder than it sounds lol. Great safe and quiet neighborhood close to all 4 of the different the golf courses we were playing at. No issues.

Only one problem…

House larger than it looks with a huge back yard. Pool was beautiful. The property listing said the pool was not heated so we knew that but we didn’t think that after many 80 and 90 degree days this March it would still be freezing cold. Our biggest problem was the lighting in the 4 bedrooms. Each bedroom had an overhead light/fan with a remote control programmed for that specific room. The device for one bedroom was missing. We reported it to the management company. They said they would look into it. But we never heard back from them. The lighting in all the bedrooms made reading in bed difficult but in the problem bedroom everything was a problem because of that missing remote. Using the remote from the other bedrooms did not work.

Scottsdale Golf Getaway 2022

Great location in proximity to the golf courses we played. Clean, well appointed and spacious to accommodate 4 guys for a week of golf outings and BBQ's each night.

Okay Experience

Upon arriving at our location, we were excited to experience Scottsdale and the surrounding areas. The VRBO looked beautiful from the outside, but upon entering the VRBO, we realized that the property did not match the pictures on the listing. The pool table was unusable. It was full of dirt, dust, and goat heads. The pool lights did not work, so swimming in dark was what we settled on doing. We turned the outdoor fan on to cool off in the AZ heat, which resulted in one of the leaves flying off and hitting my daughter… Then, we decided to cook outdoor for the night, and there was no propane for the grill. The dingy, dusty smell was just another downside to this property. We were very disappointed with the property, and hope management will take our input into consideration for future vacationers.
