Totally remodeled spacious single-story ground-level Old Town Scottsdale patio home in “The Gardens” and the heart of Old Town Scottsdale with over 1,500 Sq. Ft. with high ceilings and clearstory windows and private gate to pool and spa from large rear South-facing patio. Front and back patio area with relaxing water fountain and landscape lighting beautifully re-landscaped by a professional designer. Back patio has top-of-the-line patio furniture including a table for four, movable umbrella, 3-person couch with cushions and pillows, 2 chairs with cushions and pillows, an ottoman, and matching coffee table and end table.
Our beautiful home accommodates 4 adults in 2 large bedrooms, plus one child or small adult on a new futon sofa in the den area, and in a pinch, one adult on our large living room sofa.
After searching extensively for years for the perfect winter get-away, we selected this beautiful property in this small development because there is simply no other property anywhere along the miles-long Scottsdale greenbelt and within easy walking distance to Civic Center Park & the Old Town Scottsdale shopping & entertainment district that is all on one ground-level, with high ceilings & clearstory windows, with a garage, car port, and a large private patio with a private gate to such a large resort-style swimming pool & spa. Ours is one of only 6 units with a private gate to the pool area. This patio home and location is simply one-of-a-kind. Note: The hot tub/spa is generally heated year-round, and the pool is generally heated March-April and sometimes from mid-October through mid-November.

We spent December 2020 through May 2021 in our new home and made many new friends among our new neighbors. And we spend at least part of each year here ourselves, where about half of the 43 residents live here year-round, and the other half include long-term rentals, and a few owners like us that are offering limited short-term rentals to help us pay the bills 😊 So, please understand that this is a rather quiet community where we know everybody and highly value maintaining a good relationship with our neighbors. It is a great place to relax, golf, cycle, shop, and enjoy all the Old Town restaurants and bars, but it is not a “party house” for loud, late-night parties 😊

Wake up every morning seeing blue sky and palm trees swaying and osprey and eagles and all kinds of birds singing, and a huge swimming pool and hot tub right out the back gate of our patio. Only a half-dozen homes have this direct, private access to the pool area. As is typical in the Phoenix area, the pool is usually heated from sometime beginning in early to mid-Feb. through mid-April and some time in Oct. and Nov. depending on the weather, and of course the Arizona sun heats the pool the rest of the year.
About a mile south on the bike path there’s R.T. O'Sullivan's Sports Grill, one of many sports bars along the green belt where we go on St. Patrick’s Day or any day of the year to enjoy corned beef and cabbage, a Guinness, and some Irish music. They also have several sand volleyball courts and regular tournaments.
A little further down the path is Duke’s, another sports bar, where they hold disc golf tournaments along the greenbelt almost every weekend. And a short walk North on the bike and walking path is a small lake where a group runs their radio-controlled speedboats every Sunday morning. And there’s always people fishing in the many beautiful greenbelt lakes up and down the greenbelt.
Most days Jeff will take at least a short bike ride on the bike path that runs along that same 4th fairway and once or twice a week he’ll do a 20–30-mile loop on that same bike path. He also plays pickleball at the nearby city courts where there are always plenty of people there to play with. Saturdays always begin with our half-mile walk through beautiful Civic Center park that is filled with lush green grass, beautiful flowers, and fountains on our way to the tent-covered outdoor farmers’ market with 40 or more different food and other vendors.
In the spring there are often free weekly Sunday concerts in Civic Center Park a half-mile from our place straight down Main St. which basically dead-ends at our development.
Just 15 minutes from both WestWorld, the site of the world's greatest annual classic car auction by Barrett-Jackson's held in late January each year, and 15 minutes from the site of the annual Phoenix Open golf tournament, The People's Open, held in early February each year, Feb. 5-11 in 2024.

Great stay, perfect location and accommodations!
This place is a gem - close enough to walk to anyplace you want to go in Old Town Scottsdale but a quiet, private feel as well. The space was perfect for us and our adult son. And the patio and pool are lovely. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location and Immaculate Property
This place feels like a home. It does not feel like a rental property. The beds are comfy and you have everything you need and more! It is in a perfect location and has its own private entrance to the pool. We walked a couple times to Old Scottsdale and it was very close! We had such a great time! We will definitely be back! Fantastic property and the Owners are great! I would give it more stars if it were possible. Great spot! Such a gem!

We liked the spacious condo. Well furnished. Beautiful patio. Very close to the pool ( most heated pools in Scottsdale are not heated in the low season from Oct to Jan). Very nice clean development. Very quiet. Close to Old Town. We used the golf cart shuttles several times. We walked to Old Town many times as well. Cable tv much appreciated. Jeff and Roxy are the owners and this is their second home for half the year. That makes a difference.
