Base of Mountain Gem

We loved our stay at this very clean, spacious, mountain view home! It was well stocked and easy communicating with the host. Perfect location for hiking the South Mountain, golf, and plenty of Pheonix area entertainment. Our favorite was time spent relaxing in the heated pool. We highly recommend it and hope to be back!

So Worth It

Don’t hesitate to stay at this super clean, bright, spacious and welcoming home for family time. The finishes inside are truly high-end and the backyard pool and landscaping, with views of the mountain, are beyond inviting. The home owners checked in to make sure we were all comfortable. They truly care about their home and guests. We’ll be back!

It’s our third rental of this property. It just feels like home away from home. Everything was A+. This is a well stocked home, located in a quiet serene neighborhood. Restaurants, stores and malls are nearby. The owners are welcoming, which counts for a lot.

We so love this place!

This is our second stay at Desert Rose. It is just perfect in every sense. Spotlessly clean, in a beautiful area of Phoenix where we felt completely safe & secure. We just love this property, it is immaculately maintained & stocked with everything you need. It backs onto a wash from the South Mountains so we saw all sorts of wildlife including quail with babies this time, they are so adorable & funny running around all over the place! The pool was lovely & clean & a perfect respite from the heat. Lastly, Sara is the perfect property manager & nothing is too much trouble. We can’t wait to return 😊

Amazing Home

My family and I just got back from a week stay at this Amazing home! The views are spectacular and the pool was very relaxing. The home is spacious and lovely. It was stocked w/ Everything. coffee, filters, spices, olive oil, toilet tissue, paper towels, kitchen soaps. I mean Everything. We will definitely be back; thank you to the host who were Fabulous!

Just Perfect

This is our fourth day at this lovely property. It is the standard by which we hauled all other VRBO rentals too. we love the base of south mountain location for hiking and mountain biking, also convenient to the rest of Phoenix. The home is immaculately maintained inside and out, and well stocked with everything o e needs for a fantastic vacation. The host are unobtrusive and very responsive if anything is needed. We love the pool and the view out the backyard, lots of quail and bunnies to be seen. Already planning our next trip back!

**Magnificent home!**

A wonderful place to rest

My wife and I had taken a month of as it had been a busy year for me. It could not have been a better place to stay and felt like home from the moment we arrived. The house is wonderfully set up in all ways and the back yard has both the views and the shade in the afternoon to let you enjoy them. Errol and his family were wonderful and even a couple of little hiccups were dealt with easily and without any hassle. It is very quiet which is what we wanted and you can just chill as much as you want but the amenities are all near. Would recommend it highly to anyone and would return without a thought.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely, it is well stocked and the pool/landscape is beautiful. The views of the mountain were exceptional. We had a great time and the VRBO was a big part of that.

Perfect Vacation House

We loved everything about the house. Plenty of room, an incredible master bedroom and bathroom, beautiful full kitchen, great pool, amazing host. We stayed there for over a week, and had zero complaints. While we don’t miss the Phoenix heat, we do miss this house. If we’re ever in the area, we’ll definitely be staying again.

This was our second stay at this lovely home. The owners are so welcoming, I love it that they check on you during the stay. My grandson loves the pool and the open space indoors to play with his VR. The home is filled with all that you need for your stay. The location is close to 2 expressways and a mall, what more could you ask for. Looking forward to next year’s visit.!!!

Loved it!!

The home is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. The views are just as described and even better in person. Restaurants, grocery stores & shopping are within a 5-15 minute drive. Having the pool was such a nice edition to our stay. Communication was great with the host. If we ever get the chance to be back in Phoenix this is the place we will stay!! You will not regret booking this home!

Spectacular property and views

This house is at the foot of South Mountain, yet at night you can see the Phoenix city lights as well. Spacious, very well appointed and incredibly stocked with all kinds of condiments and other thoughtful products to make vacationing easy. The pool is awesome and there is lots of room for big groups for dinner or a pool party. Owner was a great communicator and very helpful before, during and after the stay. Neighborhood is gated and quiet. Grocery, gas and fast food are close, but the kitchen is huge so no need to go out. Thanks Errol!
