Everything was amazing! The snack basket and drinks in the fridge were appreciated. All the amenities: pool table, foos table, pontoon boat, and pool were so much fun. No time to be bored! Our host was in contact immediately if we needed them!

Great Girl’s Trip

The home was perfect. The five of us were able to spread out and not feel crowded at all. We took the boat out one night but wasn’t confident about going far, so we turned around, docked it, and didn’t use it anymore. The property managers were great - responsive to any of our questions and concerns. They also gave us some dining and massage companies and these were quite helpful, too.

This place has it all!

We had a family gathering to celebrate several birthdays. The house lived up to its billing - room for 10, with lots of space to spread out and have privacy, and several gathering places. Wonderful pool and patio with great views and nature. One highlight -- every evening at sunset, a nearby tree became the overnight roosting spot for 6 egrets! Absolutely beautiful to watch!

Amenities and so much more!

This beautiful vacation home checks all the boxes! Our family of five loved our stay at Lakeside Retreat. It is spacious, clean, and the kitchen is fully stocked. We played many cards at the swim up table in the pool. Such an added bonus to have this built in table. The pool table in the game room was a huge hit. We enjoyed an early morning ride in the pontoon boat - another added bonus to this property. Our stay was during a very hot week at the end of July so we did not use the hot tub or firepit but I can imagine how relaxing they each would be while enjoying the beautiful water and mountain views. The morning sunrise over the mountains is amazing and I enjoyed this most mornings. I can't say enough about this rental home and all of the amenities. Thank you Kristine for arranging the welcome basket with snacks and beverages in the refrigerator. Although these were not necessary, we very much appreciated them. It truly felt like we were at home away from home. Thank you!

Amazing home

We loved this home and already booked for next year. We enjoyed the boat and heated pool and spa. Welcome basket was a huge surprise and we loved it. Plenty of towels and toys, etc. Boat did have quite a few spiders so keep a look out. Hot tub malfunctioned and they quickly sent a repairman to fix it. I’m not sure how long the boat will last on a full charge as the owner did not respond to my question but we will find out for next year. Highly recommend!

Fantastic lakefront home in Glendale

Everything was perfect! Nice, big house; well-equipped kitchen; wonderful towels and linens. We arrived (an hour early, no problem with check-in) to a fantastic welcome basket of snacks and cold beers/water! The outdoor area was to die for: warm pool, hot tub, and a dock with a pontoon boat/4 life jackets for our kiddos. Everything as advertised. One minor problem, which received immediate attention from the rental agent. We will rent again for our family reunion in the future!

Great place for large families or to host friends with ample bedrooms, a comfortable living area, and plenty of seating for dining both inside and out. We've stayed at this home off and on over the years and very much enjoyed our experiences. We enjoy the wonderful amenities including a pool, hot tub, grill and electric boat.

Nice home for a family gathering.

This home is clean and the photos are more or less accurate. We had a nice weekend with family and enjoyed the dock for catch and release fishing (bass, catfish, sunfish). We did not try the boat but the lake looks fun to check out. A welcome basket of snacks and a few drinks was an added touch. We would stay here again if everything was working properly. We selected this home for it’s amenities. The management company opted to wait until right before our arrival to notify us the spa was being replaced and would not be available. Everyone was very disappointed. Currently, AZ has an abundance of STR’s available and it would have been nice to be offered the option to cancel and book a different property. If you anticipate using the spa, confirm it has been replaced. There was one shower that was inoperative and the stove/oven had a few issues. There are plenty of pots, pans and spices for cooking but not enough plates, bowels and utensils for the number of occupants allowed. Bring disposable paper goods and your own zip bags, foil and plastic wrap. There was plenty of drinking glasses and a nice supply of plastic cups for using out side. The BBQ grill worked well and the fire pit was a good chatting space.. There was a park walking distance for games and kids. This property has a lot of positives for anyone looking for a gathering place for family and friends. One bath towel is provided for each guest but there are no towel racks anywhere to hang and dry the towels. There is a washer and dryer but no laundry soap. The pool was nice and it was heated. The listing states the pool heating is included in the rental price but the management company messaged outside of VRBO to request additional payment for a heated pool. Make sure you confirm in advance if heating is included. The home is full of TV’s but we never turned one on opting for games and some of the puzzles provided. Overall the home has many positives, nice layout and functional. The management company is fine. We hade a nice stay and would consider returning for a yearly get together.

Great place for a fun getaway!

This house had it all! Pool, hot tub, fire pit, lake front and a pontoon! The guys were entertained by fishing all day while the ladies relaxed by the pool! The home offered lots of seating in the living room and dining room. There were 8 of us and we all sat together around the dining room table for dinners. The beds were comfy and lots of pillows. I would recommend booking this home!

Beautiful location

The property was incredible, the views were amazing and the house was perfect! The house was stocked with what we needed, the owners were super easy to contact, the pool and the hot tub were clean, and the fishing was fun off of the dock. Highly recommend this place to other renters looking for a great vacation and tons of relaxation.

Fun Property

Location was amazing! We loved being lakeside! The only downside is that the boat was not working as the owner was waiting for parts. We enjoyed the beverages stocked in the frig...and the basket of snacks provided. Overall, a great stay!!
