I stayed for 7 nights in this Scottsdale condo. The unit was clean, serviceable, and in a great location, though the building and some fixtures (like the thermostat) feel a bit dated. Unfortunately, mid-stay, the glass shower door spontaneously shattered while I was out, leaving glass throughout the bathroom and hallway.The owner was very responsive, arriving within an hour after telephoning the owner and sending photos to clean up the glass and install a temporary tension rod and curtain. The cleanup and coordination for a safety check was not done the next day, but was done the following day while I was not in the unit. That was OK as this incident was a safety concern and I felt the owner took appropriate action. We had a disagreement regarding a fair refund for the inconvenience—I requested 278 (one night plus a discount for the two remaining nights), but the host would only agree to 185. While I appreciate the quick initial response, the incident and the back-and-forth on compensation impacted the overall experience.
