Brian and his wife were great to deal with. We had some unforseen circumstances that came up, and they were extremely accommodating. House was clean. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed. The pontoon was also a bonus. Overall, a great experience.

This house was amazing! So spacious, well laid out, with an incredible backyard. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Comfortable beds, TVs in all of the bedrooms, lots of kitchen space and property manager was super helpful when we had questions. Boat was fabulous. Bots caught LOTS of fish! We swam and fished all day and had an amazing trip making memories before our sons head back to college. Highly recommend this property and this host! Have rented from Karen and Ryan multiple times and their properties are always top notch. Thank you for an amazing family trip!

Graduation Celebration

We brought our family down to celebrate our daughter's graduation from GCU. We had a wonderful time with 3 generations--relaxing, enjoying the fabulous weather and spending time together. This house was the perfect place to do that.

Great spot for families!

We stayed here over spring break to see Royals spring training games with 13 people, including an 18 month old, and three other kids six years at under. Had a great time with the amenities, including the pool and the hot tub and the boat. Communication was outstanding with any needs or questions addressed Almost immediately. Would definitely come back again!

Home cooks will love this house

Nicely appointed house in pleasant and very quiet area of Glendale. Views from the house of the lake were nice, especially at night. Kitchen is very large and stocked with all the equipment you need to cook for a large group, and the gas grill right outside the kitchen door is very convenient as well. Plenty of space outdoors for a large group and the pool is fun and well-heated--good for cool desert mornings! We wished it were a little closer to some of the activities we did, such as Phoenix Zoo, spring training game at Camelback, mini golf, but that's more a function of Pheonix sprawl than the house's location per se. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable visit. Recommend highly if you're looking in this area.

Great Indoor Outdoor Space

The stay was great! We really appreciated having a Chefs kitchen with the ability to open up the sliding glass wall to enjoy the indoor/outdoor living. If you like to cook and grill while in close proximity to pool activities this would be the place for you. The location was away from the city enough to enjoy peace and quiet along with great views, but close enough to the city for any other extra curricular activities we wanted to enjoy. The owners were great to communicate with!

We hosted our family “Thanksmas” here with our adult kids and four grandchildren staying for 5 days; we had plenty of space. The kitchen was great and the family room has plenty of seating. The dining room table seats 12 comfortably. The outdoor space is great. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the heated pool and rides on the pontoon. Would definitely stay here again. Property manager responded immediately with any needs. I would have one caution if you plan to stay here with toddlers: There are two open staircases and the pools and canal call for diligent supervision.

Great stay but picture is deceiving.

My family’s stay was excellent! There were a few things that needed a little attention, but hopeful these will be taken share of. Also I was a little disappointed we could not go into river that shows beautiful blue. It is all reclaimed water, therefore no swimming in it. Fishing is catch and release. But the pool was great!

Use the boat at your own risk. Power cut out multiple times. Was worried we would be stranded in the canal. Great kitchen for making meals. Very spacious house. Pool was great, unfortunately hot tub was broken. One of the main reasons for the stay. All in all the house worked.

Hot, Hot, Hot

Thank goodness for working AC and a swimming pool! With temperatures over 100, our family of 5 was very grateful to have such a beautiful home with plenty of space, that was well stocked, with a fantastic infinity pool. Both indoor and outdoor spaces were perfect and allowed for us to be in or out, day or night. Nice views of the mountains in back (w/access to hiking trails at the end of the street). The home is very close to groceries and several restaurants, making it convenient. The added bonus of the pontoon boat was also a nice perk. (We didn't realize that you couldn't swim in the lake or that the boat couldn't be operated when temps were 100+, but this didn't hinder us from taking it out in the morning or evening for a nice cruise around the lake). Some fishing gear is provided and we were able to catch a few (and release them). We had a small issue with the fridge, but this was promptly resolved with timely communication from the property manager. The home is somewhat dated and could use a few fixes, but overall, it was very comfortable (especially the beds) and provided us with the perfect spot to enjoy quality family time for the week. We would definitely recommend Hacienda del Lago!

Top Flight Property

Our family had a great 4 night stay here! We have rented MANY vacation homes over the past 20+ years and this was one of the very nicest. Beautifully decorated. Plenty of space. The beds were comfortable. Garage parking was a huge plus! The hosts provide extra and personal touches (goodie basket, cold beverages, etc.) that make you feel welcome and let you know they understand the business they are in. Great location in a high end neighborhood and close to all services. Highly recommend!!
