Get Away!

Real mid-century charm

The house undersells it's mid-century charm. I like it, so I appreciated the style of the kitchen. Bedrooms are large and have excellent storage. The bathroom was clean and serviceable. Climate control was excellent and kept the house comfortable at all times. The living spaces are large and comfortable. I'd use this house again.

Nice area, comfortable home

Older home, pretty well kept. Air conditioning is loud. No master suite due to the age of the home. Friendly neighbors. Quiet neighborhood. Close to shopping. All in all, I’d rent again!

Good place to stay

The cleaning crew was not aware that we were checking in and therefore we had to wait to get in even though it was well beyond the check in time. The bedroom TV s didn’t work. The living room TV only had Roku and over the air antenna. Everything else was great.

Easy and comfotable

For what I was looking for and needed, this was perfect. It could definitely use some upgrades, but everything worked just fine (oven, TV, shower, washer/dryer, etc...). If you're looking for something fancy, this probably won't be your top choice, but it was clean, and comfortable and the owner is very pleasant. The location is convenient to stores, rec centers, golf, and the freeway. I'll definitely rent there again when I return.

This house was attractive inside and out. Very comfortable beds. Fully equipped. The driveway was accessible to the house for disabled people, and the one floor was great. It was charming.

Charming House in Sun City!

What a wonderful experience! The house was a charming retro 1960s kitchen! Everything was well stocked and ready to move in condition. High speed internet, two comfortable beds, and in a quiet neighborhood. I would definitely recommend this for a stay and we are planning to re-book next year.

Nice area perfect location even though it said 4.77 miles from State Farm station it was 11 miles but not big deal. Was a perfect 2 night stay

Great location, close to community centers, golf courses & shopping

Definitely needs updating. Lack of wifi a definite drawback (even with free wifi about one mile away) when there for an extended period of time. Also lack of cable, as major networks don’t always come in. Needs blankets on the beds...nights get pretty cool during the winter months. Owner was good to work with.

It was aged, not cleaned well.

I needed to get hold of cleaning company to deal with a rat the had made a home in planter in front of house. This was done. While waiting for exterminator , I cleaned and organized the house. The house had clutter . (Garage and Green Room.) I did take pictures if anyone is interested . The mats and carpet were stained and dirty. We did not move in for three days due to rat issue. Once we got settled the house was fine. Definitely an aged house. Ex: Oven and stove top from the 1960's. T.V very limited and no WiFi. The location and Sun City amenities were perfect for what we wanted. If the house was cleaner , carpets cleaned, clutter removed, Wi Fi proper reception on T.V. We would stay again. Al

Sun City rental.

We went down for sun and to catch some spring training baseball in Peoria. This house fit the bill for us. Very affordable, quiet area, more comfortable than a hotel. We also made our way to Scottsdale and Tempe (both 45-60 minutes away). The house is small, which was fine with the 3 of us. It was nice sitting at the table in the kitchen planning activities. The furniture in the living room is now different than pictured, there is an additional sofa for more seating and the brown rocker was moved into one of the bedrooms. Remember that this house was built in the 60's so it is different than new construction, but it is very well maintained and clean. The biggest drawback is lack of internet service, which would have made planning our activities easier. The front porch gets the morning sun, so it was nice to sit on the planter with a cup of coffee. The covered back porch was great in the afternoon and evening (well shaded from the sun). Quiet and a nice place to sit and read or discuss what we had done. The neighborhood seemed very friendly and was perfect for a daily hour walk in the mornings. There are no activities within walking distance and I think younger kids might get bored if you spent much time at the house unless they like to play cards of board games (bring your own). But as a base for daily sightseeing and relaxing in the evenings, it was perfect for the 3 adults in our group. I would stay there again.
