The house was exactly as advertised. We had a couple of issues with appliances and hot water in showers but they were resolved quickly. The location was easy to get around Scottsdale, the neighborhood very nice, and the outdoor area a great benefit for our golf trip.

Underwhelming with silly policies

If you’re accustomed to high-end homes, this property will likely disappoint. While the outdoor space is impressive with plenty to keep kids entertained, the home itself feels dated, showing noticeable wear and tear. A major highlight for the kids—the golf simulator—was out of order for our entire stay. Additionally, the outdoor bar area had a lingering garbage smell we couldn’t eliminate. One of the main shared bathroom showers never produced hot water, and the master bathroom water often carried a stale, well-water-like odor.However, the most frustrating part of our experience wasn’t just the home’s condition—it was the host’s response when we ran out of essentials like paper towels, dish soap and trash bags. Instead of restocking these basics, we were told their policy only included “starter kits.” For a property at this price point, it’s unreasonable to expect guests to stock up on fundamental items - especially ones that come in bulk and will outlast a guests stay. We’ve stayed at high end homes all over the States and Mexico and we’ve never encountered such a silly “policy” with such basic items.The house met our basic needs, but we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Desert Cove Family Trip

We enjoyed our stay at the Desert Cove during the Thanksgiving holiday. The house had plenty of bedrooms with comfortable beds, enough bathrooms and space to spread out for our family of 12. The backyard was an entertainers dream with pool, hot tub and basketball court as shown in the pictures. A few notes to mention not shown in the pictures are that the kitchen didn't have enough silverware, there was only a set for 9 people and we were 12. Also we were bummed that there was no wine glasses for our holiday celebration. Lastly, a few repairs are needed on some of the bedroom doors as they wouldn't close or were cracked. Other than that our family was very pleased with the rental and all it has to offer. The keyless check in and check out instructions were easy and the rental service staff was very communicative with their response time for any questions we had. We would recommend the Desert Cove for your family or large group stay.

Amazing family vacation!!

We absolutely loved our stay! This property was amazing so much for my grandkids to do! Hot tub was a big hit! Amazing pool with all the TVs in the outdoor kitchen was perfect! Kids and adults had so much fun playing pickleball!!the garage full of games and simulator was amazing! Everyone really enjoyed it!!I just can’t say enough good things about this property. Wide open space in the house was perfect! Definitely looking forward to renting this home again! A North Dakota family who loves the Arizona weather in October.

The place was amazing for a group of 8 guys, good location , it had everything you need to enjoy the home. We made most meals at the house, as it had all the necessities. The host was very quick to get back to us with any questions or concerns. Pool heat was turned on a hot very warm as soon as we informed them to include it. Would recommend the house very much so

Perfect Getaway

We stayed here for our family vacation. There were 9 adults on the trip and the house had plenty of room for all of us. Located in a nice neighborhood with access to grocery stores, gas stations, fast food and restaurants in walking distance. We look forward to staying again!

Unclean and disappointing customer service

The property is large and a has a lot of places to sleep, but the rest of it was disappointing. It was relatively hot throughout the place and the majority of the rooms only had a fan above the bed that did not cool the room well. We were not able to check in any bit early and when we arrived the cleaning crew was still there and they didn’t even take out all of the garbage. They left 30 minutes after our check in time. The hot tub was extremely dirty and not clean so we did not use it. On top of this the code for the door they gave us did not work. The cleaning crew let us in. I called several times over a few hours to try to get a new door code before someone provided us with a proper entry code. In summary, the customer service was not great and the place was relatively unclean. We still very much enjoyed our time here as it had plenty of space for us and Arizona is always just beautiful, but I would not say that the experience and service of this VRBO was good by any means.

The most amazing place to stay!

I came here with a group of 16 girls and we had the best time. The property is gorgeous and had everything we wanted and more. It was clean and the rooms were spacious. I would highly recommend this place and would love to come back here again soon!

Great home with an excellent outdoor area

If you book bring 20 people because we had 6 and the home is designed for a lot of people. Great home, small things like broken window, dirty carpets, damaged cabinet’s, the pool heat was exorbitantly expensive and it’s a real party house.

For a Party of 16 in for the Fiesta Bowl - THE PERFECT PLACE!

We had 3 couples, plus a single mom, so 7 parents with a total of nine 18-20 year old's making up our group of 16, and everyone had their own bed and was able to sleep comfortably. After a glorious TCU Horned Frogs victory over Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl on NYE, we brought in Grimaldi's Pizza's & salads to ring in the New Year, and this home provided the PERFECT setting for a relaxed and fun way to celebrate the New Year and TCU win! The big kids enjoyed the hot tub and basketball court, and the old men enjoyed the 'old school' video games & pool table. The location was so great for all of our activities in Old Town and an easy drive to State Farm stadium in Glendale. HIGHLY recommend this home and property management group and would definitely stay there again!

Excellent family vacation location!

Wonderful house and location in Scottsdale. House was as advertised; with the addition of a Pickleball/Basketball sport court that was even better than the previous playground option. Beds were comfortable, Kitchen was well stocked, outdoor pool/hot tub/entertainment area were as awesome as the pictures suggest. Awesome responsiveness by the management company on some minor pool heater and lighting issues. Lighting/sound/tv controls are all smart home devices that required a bit of learning for the less technically savvy in our group. Would definitely return!

Perfect Bachelor Party Stay

The house was amazing - huge back yard with out door kitchen, pool, and entertainment. Spacious indoors with pool table, incredible movie theater, and more than enough space for the 19 of us that stayed. Close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go in Scottsdate - no more than a 15 minute uber for anything. Property managers were very responsive and got back almost immediately. Would highly recommend this property and the company who manages it.

Great space but a few small issues

The house is beautiful and comfortably fit our large group (18 girls) but we hit a few snags. -We blew out an outlet that led to the wifi going down. We had to email back and forth with management for over 12 hours before someone came out to fix it after we attempted to fix it ourselves multiple times -I had to proactively ask for check-in and check-out directions ( with check-in arriving at 3:57pm for a 4pm check in) -The dishwasher was pretty old and very hard to get working -There were mosquitos all throughout the house even though we were careful about closing all the doors

Lovely property with all the amenities needed in a nice quiet neighborhood. Beautiful pool and outdoor setting. More than enough beds, tvs, bathrooms and a beautiful kitchen area. Surround sound stereo system throughout the entire property was an added touch!

This is a great property, but is getting a little run down. The home itself is in pretty good shape, but the yard, bar area, hot tub, outdoor grill could use a good cleaning and some repairs. The Fountain was broken, pool filter/cleaning system was laying on the ground near the pool in pieces. We rented this property during peak season so paid top dollar - so I expected a little better condition.

To Yrbo Professionals Before publishing this review, please allow the owner(s) to see this review. We have 3 properties (CA & CO) and we -as owners- would like to see a renter's review before it was published-especially if the owner(s) are NOT aware of the problem we had. We also plan to get parts of this review published elsewhere since it offers a potentially great suggestion to prospective renters who are about to rent a large top-tier property. Our Review Begins Below:After telling a friend about how great our Vrbo rental was in Scottsdale, AZ during Christmas, he asked me if I would ever go back there again. I quickly said, " I would IF the people who had rented before us had NOT stayed the night before." Said differently, some owners of large Vrbo rental homes might need more than 6 hours to get the place ready for the next family. In our case, the move-out was 10:00 AM and our move-in was at 4:00 PM. We arrived at 4:15 PM and there were 2 cars in the driveway. We entered and found 2 nice men trying to get the TVs on..As it turns out, the large TV in the Theater room- one of the major reasons we chose the property- was NOT working. A specialist came in at noon the next day and fixed the TV. So we had 3 great nights in this 5-star room but we paid for 4 nights(not 3). The fireplace in the master bedroom was also a reason why we chose this top-tier property. While they tried to fix the problem, they never did. In this instance, we paid for 4 nights and got 0 nights with a working master bedroom fireplace. (the gentleman who was there when we arrived knew about the non-working fireplace as well as the propane man the next day) Any other surprises? The treadmill did not work. Normally, that would not bother me but I needed to get ready for my January 10th stress echo test. My son discovered this on day 2. In other words, it might make sense for owners of large Vrbo rental homes to have more than 6 hours to get the place ready for the next family. Then why would we ever go back to this property? There are many reasons to cite, for example, the pool and outside entertainment area is right out of Hollywood, the Theater room was out of this world, the kitchen was gigantic- even for 11 people. The people we called at the full-service rental company during our first 2 days were so nice over the phone. So if you want a "once in a lifetime happy experience", this property is for you BUT you might want to make sure the owners have enough time to mak
