Our hosts were the most responsive I’ve ever experienced. Excellent communication, and response was same day. They obviously are keen to make their guests satisfied, and we were. The property was maintained and it was wonderful for our dog too- it has real grass, and Mitchell Park at the end of the block- so you can’t beat that for dog friendly.

Volleyball tournament refuge.

This wonderful home is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is very close to parks and freeways making transportation very easy access to both Phoenix and the East valley. Shopping and rest were also close. The house was wonderfully furnished with everything we needed to prepare our own meals and the pool and backyard was beautiful.

Wonderful ASU Graduation Stay

Our family absolutely loved El Norte as our home away from home during ASU graduation week. The home is spotless and beds are very comfortable. Home felt open and had great flow for graduation festivities. Kitchen had everything we needed, including large crockpot and 2 coolers. We really appreciated all of the Kcup pods for coffee selections. Shirley and Pete are amazing hosts and made us feel like family. Thank you so much! We highly recommend this home and convenient location to ASU!

Awesome trip

We loved the home, location and hosts. We came to town for spring training. The hosts were very kind and helpful to share dining suggestions and best ways to get around town. Home was perfect. We would definitely stay again.

Great Tempe stay

Had a terrific time in Tempe! Communication from host was great, very easy check in and out. House was very clean, well furnished/stocked and was perfect for our family of 4. House is located in a neat area, just a short walk to downtown Tempe and the ASU campus. Would definitely stay here again!!

Comfortable Stay

We spent 5 nights here. This is our second stay in this home. We have also stayed in another home listed by the same owners. I would highly recommend both. The house has anything you would need and a heated pool. We did use the wetsuit tops this time because the temperature was in the 60’s. They helped a lot. We also walked to ASU campus and Tempe Town Lake from the home. There are quite a few restaurants in walking distance. We will choose to stay here again.

Ironman 2024

This property comes fully stocked (delicious K-cups, all the spices and baking essentials, plenty of toiletries, pool supplies and more!) which was amazing! Shirley is very quick in responding to all inquiries and ensures you have an enjoyable stay. Great location within walking distance to lots of great restaurants and Tempe Beach Park! And you can’t beat a heated pool!

Car show and caning reunion

3 Friends, my dog, and I. Wanted to go to the Barrett-Jackson car auction, AND my dog's brother is in same town so I brought her. House was nice, really loved the pool. Dog park 1/2 block away was a big plus. Dogs let us down as they did not recognize each other (5 years apart) so no tearful videos. Real grass by the pool was nice too.

Comfortable and relaxing

Our family stayed here for 6 nights while visiting our son in Tempe. This is our second time staying at one of Shirley and Pete’s homes. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the pool in the evenings. The neighborhood is quiet and easy access to ASU, restaurants, and grocery stores. I recommend trying one of the huge grapefruits from the tree in the backyard. We will continue to stay at this home and Shirley and Pete’s other home a few doors down.

Another wonderful at El Norte!

This makes the second time at this property and third time at their property across the street. In all, five great times at Shirley and Pete’s houses. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
