Awesome location close to old town and can walk to camel back with trails etc. property is nice in need of minor TLC, overall very nice with cool amenities to enjoy.

Wonderful House and Incredible LOCATION!

This house was everything we had hoped for. There were 4 of us traveling for work, and I brought along my daughter and Neice with us. The house is 1 mile away from Fashion Square so we could easily walk to lots of restaurants, shops and Old Town Scottsdale. The hiking trail was only a block away and we took a walk every morning to start our day. The backyard and pool are amazing. It was only a 15 minute drive to our conference, and it was an easy drive in and out of the city. I LOVED the area and would stay in this house again. We all had plenty of space and it was great!

Wonderful Week

We celebrated a friend's birthday and it was a perfect setting to attend the WM Open. Kelli is a great host and very responsive. We had an outstanding dinner prepared by Chef Teresa with Bartender Wendy while we were there - highly recommend that. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Well appointed, but showing age

The pros in this home are that it is in a fantastic location, is well equipped with everything you might need, and is quite large to accommodate a big family or in our case multiple families traveling together. The sheets and towels were an excellent quality and we were pleased to find the kitchen had both a fridge and additional freezer. The host provided excellent communication and was easy to work with. The backyard is large and quite beautiful with a gorgeous view of Camel Back. Unfortunately during our stay the pool heater was not working. The fire pit was also unavailable due to a problem with the gas line and a second fire table was out of propane so we had to move the tank between the grill and the table which wasn’t really feasible. We also felt the areas listed as “kids play house” and “gym” were not suitable for use due to their age and conditions.

Fabulous Vacation Home for a Family!

Our 3-generation family enjoyed a terrific 3.5 days at this home. The property manager made sure our check-in was seamless, and she responded quickly to every question. Our little ones loved being in a large home and we all enjoyed the spacious pool. Everything was sparkling clean and comfortable. We hope to return next uyear!

Stay was fine but could have been better

Good points: Location TV room and setup Comfort of mattresses Size and privacy of lot Bad points: Several things broke down including outdoor lights, pool, refrigerator, HVAC. In general, house is getting old and it shows. Communication could have been much better between owner and renters (to be fair, some problems were mere munderstandings). This caused unnecessary delays in getting things fixed and some things were never fixed but we adapted. Unit is overpriced somewhat. All in all, we had a good time but with the caveats listed above. Finally, Kelli, the owner, was a very nice and personable young woman,

Holiday 2021

Beautiful setting next to camelback mountain. 6 adult family members enjoyed an incredibly spacious, unique house with all the amenities. Especially enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and orange and grapefruit trees. Everything you need is here. Would come back again. Thx!

Unprofessional management - nice home

The home is spacious with a nice pool and a short drive to town, however the challenges with management do not make staying here worth your while. From the time I booked I had received unclear and conflicting communication - one person would say one thing, another would say something different and it made coordinating our stay extremely challenging. We had multiple issues from check-in, to check-out, to outages and were told that we could get a credit to compensate for the inconveniences then when we followed up the owner told us to get our lawyers involved. Leading up to our stay, the owner also tried to cancel our stay due renovations to the home (by this point all other good rentals were gone), then strung me along for a couple weeks just to turn around and say that he didn't need to cancel it any longer. Through all of this I tried to remain flexible as possible hoping to be a good renter but it was not reciprocated. The home is cute and quirky but also dated. I had ants in my bathroom which I did not say anything about because it was not worth raising one more issue, I just sucked it up. If you do stay here be sure to also ask about the mosquitos and come prepared with repellent. We left our stay with bites all over. Based on the owners responses to other critical reviews I am sure he will write a rude and unprofessional response to my review, but I feel it is my obligation to other renters to share my experience honestly.

Insane/Hateful/Delusional Owner

The property was nice. The problem is the owner of the property. I accidentally put one person staying at the property when I was using the app. The owner called and I let him know that I made a mistake and I told him that I would have 5 friends staying with me. He then goes into asking me questions about what do I do for a living, where am I from and why am I coming to stay at his property. All question, I answered honestly. About 2 weeks later he calls my cell phone again and ask me the same questions. When I arrived at the property with 2 of my friends because one could not come until the next day and the other cancelled, he showed me around and I thought everything was fine. He left and about 30 min to an hour later I see that his car was outside, I asked him to help because a gate was open and I could not close it. He helped with that and a issue with the water that my friend was having when trying to shower. At this same time some friends that were girls that we knew from the area came over in a uber that dropped them off on the street in front of the house. He sees them and goes crazy, he calls them hookers and tells them to leave, then comes in the house and starts screaming at me saying that I am a liar. He tells me that I cannot have more than 8 people on the property at a time and that I am violating his contract. I said in response that it is only 7 people on the property and 8 if you include him. He says in response "well someone went to math class". The girls out of fear hid until I text them and told them to comeback. So he leaves angry and says that he's calling the police. I tried to call and reason with him but he was not hearing anything that I had say. He then sends a long message on the VRBO system calling me a liar and saying that the police was coming. I wanted the police to come so that they can check everyone's ID and tell this man that he was over reacting. The police never came. The next day he sends another long message on VRBO, calling me a liar and threatening to send the police. The police never came again. Fast forward to the last day when we were leaving. Check out is at 11:00 am, this man shows up at 10:00 am. Thank God we were already packed and ready to go. He goes in for a min the comes out cursing and yelling saying we have drugs and trash in the house. It was a bottle of Asprin and unopened napkins that guest could use. He then calls us deceitful SOB. Calling names or yelling at someone is never appropriate.

Wonderful Home!

A fabulous trip to Scottsdale and this wonderful home! Beautiful pool, amazing back yard and very private! We felt like we were staying at our own resort. It was also close to everything! A wonderful spot for a family vacation and our adult children loved it! Highly recommend this wonderful property!

Beautiful Home, Incredible Pool, Better for Adults

Property was incredible, and communication between property manager and owner and myself could have been better. We chose this property because it 'welcomed families' and we have 5 kiddos under 8. The property manager did not communicate with the owner, and while we were 2 days delayed because of Snowmagedon in Denver, CO, our other parties in Scottsdale were not allowed to stay in the home, due to miscommunication with the Owner. The owner was kind, and once we got there it worked out. We would recommend this property for adults, not little kiddos as we feel the owner would be most comfortable with Adults. We had a great time, and appreciated the outdoor spaces especially. Thank you for having us.

Hacienda Vacay

Fantastic Retreat

We enjoyed 4 blissful, fun-filled days at this gem of a property! The host, Ken, was communicative and accommodating, The property has a gorgeous, tranquil sprawling backyard, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The heated pool and hot tub provided relief and relaxation. The home has spacious bedrooms, excellent TVs, and many conversation areas to enjoy. The pool table, pingpong and games were an added bonus. Lastly, the location cannot be beat. Proximity to Old Town, Fashion Square Mall, dining options and hiking make this a home we hope to return to!
