We had a nice stay, spacious and clean. The owners are exceptionally responsive. The toaster broke (not a huge deal) and they had a new one delivered to the townhome the same day! Comfy beds and pillows. Quiet neighborhood and neighbors.

Cool neighborhood and location.

Had a great stay. Walkable to all things Fishtown. If you like New Orleans style jazz music checkout the Black Squirrel Club. The teens said if you want to have a dance party in the living room, it’s great for that . They also got a solid “face reading” at the palm reader around the corner so, a good time was had by all.

Fun in Fishtown

The house was clean, stylish, well appointed, and very comfortable for a family. Nice appliances, appreciated filtered water and ice maker. Beds very comfortable. Game room fun. TV's all working and easy to use. Lots of good food, drink, and deli/markets nearby. Fishtown cool.

Location was in walking distance to bars and restaurants. I recommend going to the Reading Terminal—-yummy food with a huge selection. If you like drinking local brew, go to the Yard….super good. The house was as pictured. Parking is not great, but it all worked out! House was clean. The owners were very responsive. I would recommend staying here.

Family Friendly

The place is beautiful and was perfect for us and our two 3 year olds. Family friendly space, even provided a baby gate. It’s in a nice area, there was some construction going on down the street which made it difficult to park at times, but that is no fault of the owners. Great communication and everything is clean and well taken care of!

Quick trip

We stopped here for a couple days to celebrate the 4th of July. Place was clean. Only issue was the parking on the street has a 2hr time limit, except from 12am-8am. But there was almost always a spot near the rental. But we had a great time. Would recommend!

Love the area eateries and quirky ambiance. The apt is as stated. Everything feels new and sleek. It has the best shower outside of a tropical rainforest. Street parking like in any real city. I was able to find a spot within a couple of minutes walk all the 3 days I stay there.

Perfect!

I brought my teenage daughter and three of her friends to a show at the Fillmore. This home was absolutely perfect. It is only one block from the venue. The home is exactly as pictured. Gabe and Jon were excellent hosts and replied almost instantly for the few questions I had. Sadly we only got to stay for one night, but all five of us can’t wait to book the place again! Street parking was limited, but we made out ok.

Family of Five Loved It

We had a fabulous time staying in this beautiful home. The house was stocked with everything we needed (including lots of baby items for our 7 month old). We used the whole house - from catching up on laundry to having a glass of wine on the patio. The neighborhood had great coffee shops, restaurants, and playgrounds. It was an easy 10 minute drive to the Franklin Institute. Street parking was pretty easy to find, despite the construction down the block, and we never got a ticket. Gabe and Jon were responsive and gracious hosts. My only quibble is with the online verification process, managed by a third party property management company. They first sent me emails for the wrong dates, which made me really worried I had booked incorrectly. Then after I had completed the cumbersome registration process, they sent emails saying that they didn't have my registration. I had to email them my confirmation. A minor inconvenience for the beautiful house, but something to be aware of!

Not as family friendly

Unfortunately we did not have a great experience as the main bathroom was not working and my husband and son both fell down the stairs to the basement bathroom. The stairs are very steep and not great for toddlers or young kids. We also had an odor in the main bedroom. The only thing we loved about the house was the location and overall would recommend it for people that aren’t bringing little ones.

Great but...

We really enjoyed the home and the guide book the hosts provided! The hosts were very responsive and the home was beautifully decorated and clean. Our biggest problem was the sparse bedding. We pick VRBOs so our family can spread out and get good sleep, and we had a hard time doing this in this home since there just wasn't any bedding. Only two comforter blankets for the main beds and some thin toss blankets. We expected extra bedding to be available since the home listed it could sleep 5 and had a couch bed. Even the main beds could have used more or thicker blankets. We turned up the heat to help but then those upstairs got too hot while those on the other floors froze. Anyway, the lack of rest affected our trip unfortunately and being out-of-town, buying bedding wasn't an option for us.

Our family time in Fishtown!!

This property was a great location… our son lives in the neighborhood, so we were thrilled to be here. It was walking distance to many restaurants, coffeehouses and a great walking path and park across the main road. The house was quiet, comfortable beds, and an xtra bonus was coffee and creamer for our first morning after a long day of travel. Hosts were very responsive with any questions. We will definitely be returning!!

In town for Business

Needed to stay on Philadelphia for three nights on business wanted something cleam and affordable which was close to good dining. Everything was great. Fresh remodel and new beds. Three TV’s which we did not use but a Ms Pacman downstairs which we did use. There is crowded street parking but there was a spot with 2-3 doors each night. There was only one spot each night, but all we had was one car, so it was perfect. The stairs are difficult if you have mobility problems. Other than that issue you should feel comfortable renting this space.

Fantastic

Gabe and John were amazing!!! They were super attentive to our needs. We traveled right after 95 closed, Gabe and John immediately reached out to us to assure us that where we were staying was not directly impacted by the closure and recommended we allow extra time and use either Waze or Maps. They checked in with us prior, during and after our stay. I have never experienced such attentive hosts. The apartment is immaculate and beautiful. Gabe and Johan have also created this incredible welcome/information packet that we downloaded and used everyday. It includes everything you need to know about the apartment and Philadelphia. Would definitely stay there again:)
