"Stayed in cabin 3, and despite reading some recent negative reviews, we were very happy with the room. It was clean, well stocked and the view over the lake in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety. Our only small gripe was the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Mattresses are subjective and we were only there 1 night. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay there again. It’s also only 25 minutes from Cardiff centre. "

"We had a lovely couple of nights at the Bear Hotel. Room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Only very slight negative on room, was that on our first night, we could only get luke-warm water from the shower. Ate in the restaurant and meal was good quality overall. Service in restaurant was a little slow and lacking some attention to detail but pleasant all the same. Will happily return to stay here again, and plan to do so."

"No es un cinco estrellas real. Tuve problemas con la cerradura, la puerta no cerraba. Me pasó el primer día de los 5 que iba a estar. No consiguieron arreglarlo, todos los días volvía a no cerrar y tenía que volver a pedir que lo arreglaran. Sonaba un zumbido de algún motor en la habitación. Además me cobraron dos veces la estancia por error, tardaron más de dos meses en devolverme el segundo pago, y la primera mañana me dijeron que no tenía el desayuno incluido cuando me habían dicho que sí. Pedí mirarlo y chequearlo, y ellos, sin hablarlo, me lo cobraron. Tras hablarlo me dicen que es un error y que me lo van a devolver, cuando salgo el Quinto día, siguen sin habérmelo devuelto. No ir…"

"En general nos pareció muy limpio y el personal muy amable. La ubicación es perfecta por céntrica y porque esta a la mano de los principales medios de transporte. Pensamos que es necesario algún espacio para colocar la maleta dentro de la habitación, considerando que se trata de habitaciones para 3 ó 4 personas. La cama muy cómoda, la regadera con buena presión de agua y el agua caliente salío rápido (la indicación de caliente-rojo / fría-azul está al revés). "
