hotel comodo y relajado

El hotel tranquilo muy facil el check in y check out rapido sin complicaciones, el desayuno buffet completisimo y rico, el problema se cierra muy tempano desde las 7 a las 9:30 piscina comoda relajada, la habitacion comoda sin lujos, limpia de acuerdo al entorno de la isla, wfii gratis y excelente, bueno el restaurant en general muy bueno,

The staff were good, the breakfast was very good. Plenty of food options & cooked full breakfast was unlimited. The property is old & run down, it has a Rottnest charm about it but needed upgrading years ago. The room was maintain at a reasonable standard but the dark, dirty looking uneven slate floors would be hard to clean. The worst area was the downstairs outside area, cobweb & dirt on screen door & all around outside area. Dirty outside furniture. All for $250 a night. Never stay again

The accommodation is unique, but is run down and the renovations are needed. The noise on the weekend is unfortunate if you go on the weekend, very unpleasant.

Karma seems to have very few staff however the breakfast choices & the burgers we had for lunch on our first day were awesome! The bar and restaurant staff didn’t seem to have a great deal of experience but they were helpful & friendly. The pool area and all the outside areas in general need some $$ spent to lift the standard. It’s quite scruffy & dirty. There are loud, squawking crows everywhere which are so annoying, I’m surprised no one has suggested a bounty! 😂 Our room was very basic but clean and had a very large en-suite.. Thankfully it wasn’t too hot as we had no A/C but the pedestal fan & ceiling fan did a great job. Location is good, walking distance to the “shopping mall” and The Basin which is spectacular especially for snorkeling. Also only a few steps away to grab “ around the island” explorer bus. We had a nice stay but it would be lovely to stay at Karma again once they clean it up a bit.

Will come back. Great breakfast , nice pool

Stayed in one of the Lake side premium rooms. Great view across the lake , Nice large room with King bed and clean and tidy. Deco is a little dated especially in the lesser rooms. Breakfast was great , full buffet cooked and good quality bacon, yum. Pool area nice , and so close to Thompson Bay shops and bars etc. Will come back.

Disappointment

The room advertised is not the room you get. There is no balcony or patio. They told me the patio was the walkway in front of our room. When I complained about the balcony/patio they offered to upgrade us but as the young man at reception told me that was never going to happen. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The premises are very run down and in need of maintenance. Our room had holes in the ceiling , bathroom door with a broken lock that did not close and no soap and moisture lotion in the dispenser. No WI FI as advertised in room. Our vision of sitting on the balcony/patio reading a book and relaxing never happened ,and that was the idea of going to Rottnest. Young man at reception needs to be reminded that people like us pay his wages and to be careful that the client does not see him making fun of them.

Had a great experience

Stayed in a premium lakeside room. Air con was a god send, spesh combining it with the ceiling fan. Bed was fine as was the tv. Nice little complex really. Pool was good and the restaurant was excellent. Loved the included buffet breakfast. All the staff we encountered were pleasant. Everything could be slightly improved obviously but there were no real faults to “pick at”. Maybe it was a bit expensive? But then again Rottnest isn’t cheap so it’s really in line with everything else here. I was happy and I see no reason I’d not come back again to Karma Rottnest

Rottnest, wajemup bidi, is just a mini paradise, and staying at karma resort is lovely, with an all you can eat buffet breakfast, that keeps you going most of the day, and easy come and go set up, that is relaxed and enjoyable Highly recommend this place for an easy going relaxed holiday and with special little visitors (quokkas) ready to say hello when you open the door, what more could you ask for ♥️♥️♥️

The best thing of this property is the Pub and the location. We stayed for 3 nights and it was ok. We had breakfast everyday and it was delicious. The staff at check in was not welcoming - when I gave my name for the booking the lady immediately said I have no reservation under your name she didn’t take some time to look further and she was not professional at all so we didn’t have the first best impression. The breakfast and pub staff were awesome specially Martha and Connor, super friendly and professional. Big kudos to them. At check out they tried to charge us for a consumption We never had and the lady at check out did not believe in my word and she wanted to charge me anyways - she was rude! When I asked for the signed check of course it was another person’s signature. It was very uncomfortable to be in that situation. Reception staff need more training when it comes to customer service.

Property was roomy and clean. View was really good. Bit too close to the hotel for us and we had to carry a twin pram up two flights of stairs but still a good stay.

Our room was nice , clean and a good size. We overlooked the lake. It was very easy to get to everything as karma is close to everything in Thomson’s bay. We chose to have dinner there the second night of our stay but very disappointed with the poor service we received. Our waitress left us with the impression that she didn’t really want to be there and we sat waiting for our food. The food was really nice on the mains but sweets not so good. If we stayed there again we would eat elsewhere. We were also overcharged at the end too which meant going through the bill and taking things off we know we had not ordered. They maybe need to look at a better way of patrons being able to put drinks and food on their room to be paid at the end.

Rooms could have been cleaned better and need a A/C Staff were very friendly and accommodating, the hotel had a great family atmosphere so I would come back.

Karma The Lodge

Very hot and the rooms did not have a/c. Generally a tired resort in need of maintenance. Lots of cobwebs and no evidence that anything was being done. Staff were friendly but under pressure. Food at the restaurant, evening meal, was good; breakfast varied in quality depending on chef. Best staff member was the maintenance man who fixed the issues with our room promptly and cheerfully. He went out of his way to mend things.
