I do not take leaving negative reviews lightly, but our experience at this property was deeply concerning, and future renters deserve to be warned—especially families with children.We were extremely disappointed with this rental due to serious safety concerns and rude, dismissive hosts. Upon arrival, we noticed the pool light had exposed wires. When I raised the concern, the host told us it was fine as long as the kids didn’t touch the metal—completely unacceptable. Other issues followed: the front door was difficult to lock, a bathroom door wouldn’t close, and the stove stopped working on our second night.When I reported the stove, I was met with attitude. I followed up by email listing multiple issues and received only defensive, accusatory responses—no apology or accountability. A showerhead also fell off and hit our daughter, and the hosts still showed no concern.The worst part: we were assured the pool light breaker was off and the pool was safe. That night, we discovered the pool light was still on—meaning our kids were swimming near exposed, live wires. When I informed the host, his only response was to tell us to leave the next day—no apology, no responsibility.We are respectful renters and understand that things happen, but the hosts’ lack of concern for safety and their rude, condescending behavior made this stay unacceptable. This property is not safe for families, and I strongly urge others to stay away.

Bachelor Trip

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelor trip weekend and had an awesome time. We enjoyed the screened in pool area and we had plenty of room to sleep between the 12 of us. It was about a 10 minute walk to the beach but the hosts had plenty of games, chairs, and wagons to help make the trip easier. There are a couple of restaurants and grocery stores nearby for quick stops, but we cooked at the house all weekend and had no issues with any of the appliances. We also used one of the discounts through the property management company for golf nearby which was a nice addition. Overall would stay here again!

Everything was Excellent. Nothing bad to say.

We stayed at this property for 6 days, and we had a great time!!! Everything about the property was as described and more. Everything was clean. The beach was just a few minutes away; we rode the bicycles there every day. We also had a truck that we hauled all of our beach stuff in. My advice is to go to the beach that is left of the property. It is 25 per vehicle for 7 days, and the beach is well worth it. Very beautiful and not crowded at all. Back to the property… the pool was nice, they had many toys for our kids to play with while swimming. The house is very spacious as are all the rooms. There are also lots of toys and games for the kids. Our toddler had a blast and we played games with our kids every night. We had a small issue with the dish washer; so, I called the repair man that was listed on the email, and he was there in less than 10 minutes to fix it. It was amazing service. I’ll give this property as many stars as possible. Thank you for an awesome vacation!

What a beautiful home!!

We spent more time at the pool than the beach. Check in was great and easy. They replied to our messages quickly. The house was stocked with everything and lots of extras. The beach is a short walk and we walked out each morning. Close to food and the FlorAbama bar and grill is close by too. Highly recommend!! Thank you!!

Luxury and Privacy

This home is truly a hidden gem. The living room and bedrooms are very spacious. The private, enclosed pool is great! Our kids loved the toys. The beach essentials are all there, and the bicycles are the cherry on top!

Excellent getaway location

Our group really enjoyed the home. Access to a pool was a priority for us and we liked that it was private and screened in. Plenty of rooms and beds for our group. For some of us, the walk was a little longer than anticipated, but there was always parking down at the public access for our van. We left relaxed and ready for our next trip. Thanks again.

Great spot for families!

We really enjoyed our stay! There were toys for kids inside and out. The walk to the beach isn’t bad but a very short drive. The owners were so kind and flexible with us. We were able to add a day last minute and they were very accommodating. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need. The pool was the best part!

BEST PLACE WE’VE EVER STAYED!!!

This home surpassed all expectations!! Best place we’ve ever stayed at by far. The pictures don’t do it justice for how beautiful this home and the location was. So convenient to walk our 6 kids to the beach, bike rides for ice cream, close proximity to restaurants but yet the neighborhood is tucked away from the busy noise. The home has everything you need and more!! Plenty of bikes for everyone, plenty of beach chairs and all thing needed for the beach was amazing!! Also worth mentioning is the private pool attached to the house was one of our family’s favorite things after a long day at the beach. We cooked meals everyday and the kitchen comes fully stocked with all you need from dishes, to utensils, plenty of pots and pans etc. The property managers were very friendly and helpful!! We hope to have many more stays here in the future.

Everything at a beach house

This house has everything you need from bikes to beach umbrellas ! Very well stocked house. I was impressed! The house was very clean and quiet neiborhood. Only downside is the access to public beach a couple blocks away. Very little space because condos tape off on both sides. The screen in pool area in corner needs replacing. I would definitely stay again. The host was very accommodating and responded very quickly

Great Family Stay in Perdido Key

Gone Coastal was the perfect spot for our family gathering of cousins. The property offered plenty of space and amenities for our party of five plus pups, and the great location made it easy for us to visit with our family in Pensacola. Dan & Patty were great to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed our visit so much that extended our stay for a few more days, and we look forward to returning again soon. Thanks for helping us some great memories!
