Family getaway

The facilities were great - the condominium was as advertised. my only complaint is that the available pool and beach access was insufficient for the # of people/condominiums in that neighborhood

It was a lovely townhome. Looked just like the pictures. The club pictures are a bit misleading but we never really used bc it was so crowded. The beach was great. The boys that took care of chairs and umbrellas were all so nice.

Beautiful getaway!

This condo was amazing! It was perfectly clean, had ample room to spread out, was in a very safe, gated community. The kids loved the pools. The beach by the clubhouse was great and a shuttle took you right to it-hardly had to wait for the shuttle either. At most the wait was less than 10 minutes! The beds were super comfortable for a great nights sleep after exhausting days beaching! Would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area. No negatives at all. Even had beach toys and beach gear so we didn’t have to haul or rent our own!

Perdido Beach Trip

Loved our stay in this well maintained condo. This was a family beach vacation, long overdue. Some family stayed in condo across the street. The only complaint I have was the carpet going upstairs & downstairs needs cleaning, they were very soiled. Other than that the place was clean, well stocked with kitchen needs. Plenty of roomy furniture & master bed mattress was awesome. The best treat was the shuttle service & beach house with small cool pool, food & drinks. Very close to the beach. I highly recommend this condo!

Perdido Beach Beauty

The property was furnished beautifully and had everything we could have ever needed! We especially loved how clean the property was upon entry. Beds, bedding, and overall furniture very comfortable. The walk to the pool and beach was easy. We are a family who loves to walk so the 10 minute walk to the beach was fine for us. We did utilize the shuttle from the beach club. Also at night we just drove to the public access right next to the beach club and parked for those in our party who didn’t want to walk. We enjoyed having the beach club and chose to get drinks and food there a couple days. We thought it was worth the price considering it was on the beach and we enjoyed the view. We were all about convenience this trip and I felt the property delivered that.

Great Location

If you're looking to stay in a quiet, low traffic area by the beach, but still within minutes of the area attractions this is the perfect place. Unfortunately there is no ocean view, but the beach is extremely close to walk, drive, or shuttle to. There is a public access beach and the Lost Key private club and beach as well, all right across the main road. Great amenities on site as well.

Great Fourth of July trip for whole family and dogs

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The whole family could spread out, and there was plenty of room. We arranged to bring our other family members, our dogs. We can only take advantage of golf one day, it was just too hot!

Perfect stay

We had a wonderful stay at Wasted a Wave Again. The unit is just as pictured in the photos. extremely cleaned and well maintained and so many nice decorative touches and extras like the beach chairs and corn hole and gas grill. we were so grateful to be able to rent a place with two dogs that was so nice and well maintained. we had to work most of our stay and were very happy with the internet speed and reliability. complex and especially the beach club was a nice bonus and full access to the garage was fantastic for our sporting goods. loved the screen offed porch for evenings after work. we will absolutely rent from Patty and Dan again!

Nice and Quiet

This property is not on the beach, but it was so peaceful we did not care. Very nice. Lots of stairs though, so if you have difficulty climbing stairs, this is not your place. Enjoyed very much.

Great place!

Very new and clean with high-end finishes. Great location with access to private beach with beach servers and beach club with pool and restaurant. Perdido Key is less commercial and quieter than Orange Beach. Highly recommended!

Amazing week Wasted A Wave July 16-23

We had an amazing week! Location was great and beach was clean and relaxing. We lucked out and only had rain one morning but, we were on the beach by 11:00am. The condo was exactly as described and comfortable. The only thing I would recommend is providing additional bedding for the sofa sleeper. There was a mattress pad and extra blanket. We used extra pillows from the bunk room and brought extra blankets so it worked fine. Plenty of space for our family to spread out. It was so hot that we weren’t a able to sit out on the cute patio or grill out. Kitchen nicely equiped. Communication with Patty was fantastic and we highly recommend We will definitely book again!

Family Vacation

We had multiple family members visiting us from the local area but my niece, her husband and 2 teenage daughters from Kansas City stayed with us all week in the unit. The accommodations, kitchen, bedrooms, screened porch, etc. was excellent. The convenience getting to the pool area & beach access was not what we expected but we adjusted. The online photos made the amenities look much larger than they actually were such as the Lost Key restaurant & pool area at the beach. It rained more than we had hoped but we appreciated having access to movie choices & a large TV in the living room for all to gather, relax & enjoy.

Home away from home

This unit was very accommodating. From the seating to the beds, everything was comfortable. The only bummer was the main community was closed mist of the week. No fault to the rental unit. The shuttle and beachfront pool were great!

Townhome was as advertised and owners were readily available. 1st experience with a pet friendly rental and it was very clean. If we ever decide to bring our pup back this will definitely be where to stay again.

Nice Place Pet Friendly

Property managers were amazing! Very caring with immediate response time. The home is truly lovely and homey. However... If it were my home I would have better cooking pans (all scratched up), automatic coffee maker (possible to leave on all day), higher quality couches (very worn out), definitely nicer towels (old, scratchy and worn out) and definitely have a larger water heater. My husband and I would use all hot water for short showers that include washing our hair and by the time we were finished the water was cold. How can 8 people take showers? We could hear the calming waves when the wind was right of the Gulf but there is no view . The bed is definitely a highlight (not the pilly sheets). When you're on vacation sleeping is very important and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would recommend this lovely condo (pet friendly) but make sure to ask about construction noise. Construction went on 7 days a week and we were there for a month.

Great stay!

We stayed here for New Years and it was a great experience. Owners were very responsible to a minor issue, and the place was perfect for our family of 5 plus small puppy. Nice open layout in the living area, and clean and well kept. Location is on a quiet street, and it is an easy 15 min walk to the private beach (which has chairs and umbrellas which was nice). There are stairs to get into the main part of the house, and stairs to the second floor so that may be a problem for some guests potentially. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

The Perfect Beach Holiday

This was a fantastic property, new, clean, and very spacious for our family. The resort community was very lovely and the beach was only a trip across the road. The owners provided everything we needed and we would definitely rebook for our next trip to the gulf coast.

The best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at!!!!

This was the best stay we’ve ever had at a vrbo property. Clean, comfy, stocked with absolutely everything we needed. Beds were so comfy, kitchen stocked! Even provide plastic storage containers!!! Cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed at!!! Close to beach… we walked. Safe..guard gates. Garage has all the toys and chairs needed for beach. Private beach club provided chairs and umbrellas. Beautiful beach! Home was quiet, spacious with Roku TVs which was great!!! Kitchen was a joy to cook in. Truly every amenity you need!!!! Thank you wasted a wave again, we truly enjoyed our stay whilst our boat was getting some repairs!

Excellent condo!
