We had a fantastic week at Castaway Cottage! They had all the accessories you may need - from beach gear, to fishing gear, to toiletries. They were timely on responses when we had questions where things were. The beach was a quick walk and the pool was heated perfectly. We all fit very comfortably for our spring break trip. I definitely recommend their properties!

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home in Pensacola. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, which made settling in easy and stress-free. The ice machine was an unexpected but extremely appreciated amenity—perfect for beach days and family meals.The location couldn’t be better. Having such convenient access to the beach made our trip even more enjoyable, especially with family in tow. The property itself was comfortable, clean, and a great fit for celebrating a family Thanksgiving together.Overall, a fantastic place to stay. We’d happily return!

Everything we dreamed of! We will be coming back next year. Location was great. Nearby restaurants were okay. We recommend brining your own food to cook. We were able to attend Blue Angels practice and visit the USS Alabama.

This was the most amazing house. The layout is great. There is everything you need in the kitchen, etc. I loved all the seating and big TV in the living room.The outside is the real key, though. The gorgeous pool and bay just steps away from your door can't be beat. We didn't have any issues, so we only talked to the hosts coming and going, but they were super helpful and thought of everything.

Perfection!

We loved the house and we loved the area! The house is overflowing with amenities that we underestimated (ie. beach chairs- there are many, they’re fancy, and they’re brand new)! There is a lot of beach gear which makes beach days super easy. The refrigerator by the pool area is full-size, which is nice to know for large groups! An overall fabulous week and great rental experience!!

Perfect Property

Fantastic stay at the Castaway Cottage. Location was excellent - very quiet; easy to get to the beach and also right on the waterway. Had all the amenities you'd expect, lots of stuff for the beach, kayaks and paddle board were awesome - a big hit with the kids. House was very clean, and came stocked with anything. Gave them 1 recommendation on something they should have in the kitchen, and they Amazon'd it the very next day for arrival.Communication with the owner was fantastic and very responsive. Easy to communicate via the app or text messageHighly recommend this property - we will stay here again or in a larger property by the same owners in the future.

A very Naval Thanksgiving

Our youngest son is in flight training at NAS Pensacola and in hopes of conserving his leave for other needs we decided to head to Florida for Thanksgiving. After much research we decided to set up house in Perdido Key for the week. I can’t tell you how lucky we were to end up at Castaway Cottage. I had real doubts about the decision to cook a full T-day dinner in a beach house. My fears were put to rest when I found the kitchen stocked with everything as key as a slow cooker to chilled beer mugs. Besides the kitchen every other aspect of the house gave us the ideal setting to entertain our son and his fellow ensigns. The pool, kayaks, and volleyball court kept everyone more than happy. Proximity to the beach (3 minute walking access to the beautiful state park beach), chairs, wagon, cooler, and endless ice allowed us to make the most out of the great weather. Lindsey was super responsive to every question from the minute I hit ‘reserve’. We had never visited this part of Florida before and got a 1st class experience. We be back as our son progresses thru the next few years of training and will stay nowhere else. Thanks for everything!!

Castaway Cottage has it all!

We loved our time this week at Castaway Cottage. Lindsey was super responsive. The house has everything you need. Its location is perfect. The beach access felt entirely private. Highly recommend! And will be staying here again if we make our way back to Perdido Key.

Great property. Well stocked with equipment for the beach. Dock is a great place to put a boat. Easy to get in and out of. Communication with concierge was great. Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend and we will consider using Eric and this property in the future.

Great luxury home for families with young children

The place was very nice, recently remodeled. The beach was also a short walk away and had beautiful white sand. I'd recommend to any family with young children. The home had many items a family with young children may need, such as plastic dishware, beds for the kids, and sand toys. The place also had a full size fridge near the pool for drinks with a huge ice machine that ensured our coolers and beverages stayed cold. The property manager we interacted with was also super helpful and friendly. As long as you're not looking for an ocean view, this is a great option!

Beautiful Bay Home

Great location and beautiful home on the bay with a short and easy walk to beach. Layout was great for two families travelling with children. Kitchen supplies were well-stocked and we cooked most meals at house. Ice maker was an added bonus also.
