"This was our second holiday at High Bield - we stayed 2 years ago. It is a very special place to stay as it is in a wonderful location. We only used the car twice during the one week we stayed because all the walks and cycle rides could be done from the house. Windermere station was only a short drive away so we could easily pick up family arriving from London. Weather wasn’t what we expected in early June - warm for the first couple of days then much cooler with rain for the rest of the week...

"Very impressed with the barn suitability and comfortness. Kev was a fantastic host with local knowledge and was very helpful. The hot tub was a lovely way to relax after a day of shopping and the weather was nice enough to enjoy a bbq. We would definately recommend Bellas Barn to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable time away."

"Das Haus ist toll. Es war alles super sauber . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig , unsere Nachbarn waren Schafe 😃Städte in der Umgebung sind schnell erreichbar . Die Landschaft ist einmalig schön. Kontakt war problemlos , sehr hilfsbereit , es wurde umgehend auf unsere Belange reagiert . 5 Sterne ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"An ideal quiet location with access to Penrith and the Lakes. Well appointed modern property, private parking. Host could not have been more friendly and helpfull. We did have a couple of issues with the Verbo discription verse actual facilities- however host was quick to sort out and offered us alternative very close by. Thanks for that. All in all we had a great stay and would not hesitate to book again next time we visit the lakes."
