"A really well maintained property, a lovely welcome bottle on arrival was a nice treat ! Nice and secluded, a short journey to the lakes, very enjoyable "

"Overall, a pleasant stay, although there were a few areas that could certainly be improved. Parking was convenient, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the shower was very good. The bed was also comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing, particularly the carpet, which was covered in stains. This gave the room a tired and poorly maintained appearance and certainly detracted from the overall experience. Another disappointment was the lack...

"Room was tired and bed uncomfortable. Car park had no lighting which made it difficult to navigate in the dark."

"The Duke of Edinburgh hotel was a gem. I don’t know the history of the building but it’s older; that doesn't mean bad. They have done a great job of renovating the rooms, or at least ours was. It was one of the best rooms we’ve had on our trip. We also had dinner and a breakfast while there and the food at the restaurant/pub was excellent. They tried to change be again for the massage when check out even...

"Very clean and tidy place with friendly staff."

"I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We...
