"Great cosy feel place to stay. Staff and service were really good, and food (breakfast and dinner) was fabulous. Restaurant staff were attentive, polite and ran the whole show with military precision, well done! Only downside, we were in room 2 and next door (room 3?) had their TV on at night which felt like it was in our room, so walls perhaps quite thin, as we could hear it all. Other than that great place with easy parking too."

"The reason I haven’t scored 5 is that Expedia sold us a room that had issues with noise / cooking smells as it’s above the kitchen and is noisey and smelly when the staff are cooking. We stayed in a room named Helvellyn and Expedia didn’t state any issues with any rooms. If we had booked direct with the queens head it details the room helvellyn as having issues with noise etc due to it’s proximity to the kitchen. I think Expedia have been misleading not detailing the facts about that particular...

"Magnífico pequeño hotel con habitaciones reformadas y con mucho encanto. Muy práctico para hacer senderismo desde el propio hotel. La cocina, tanto para los desayunos como las cenas, es buenísima. El personal muy atento, agradable y profesional."

"En la relación entre precio y calidad tengo que decir que estuvo muy bien, especialmente porque la estadía fue muy corta. El cuarto era muy pequeño y por preservar un estilo, hay cosas desafortunadamente incómodas para el viajero o la vida de hoy. El baño tenía una pileta de pie, cero lugar para apoyar los 2 necessaires de viaje. Las canillas eran de fria por un lado y caliente por el otro. Sin mezcladora. O sea que para lavarse las manos hay que llenar la pileta o congelarse la derecha mientras...
