"We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!"

"This was a fabulous cottage for a family. Great location with some short walks with lovely views of perfect length for two kids age 5 and 6 (Rydal caves and Grasmere being our favourite). Great access to the lake for various boat based activities and an easy walk into Ambleside for some interesting shops (the Rock shop and toy shop were particularly interesting). Cottage itself was clean and cosy and had truly stunning views. Rooms over 3 floors so the kids expended some energy going up 2...

The “Welcome Pack” was a great and welcome surprise which is a definite plus compared to other rentals in this area. Master bedroom had a superb en suite plus a great view of Loughrigg Brow.
