"We were very happy with the property, just disappointed that the fireplace did not work. I would suggest removing the fireplace as an amenity on your listing. I specifically look for properties that have a fireplace. The property was very clean and check in was easy. The rate was a little pricey but I am guessing it is because it was a holiday weekend? "The house is tucked away behind trees so it's not visible from the highway. Lighting at the doorway going into the garage where you enter the house. The house has nice big windows facing the lake. Beautiful view all day. The house is very roomy and lots of space to spread out. Outside is a porch with lawn chairs so you can send on the porch and the enjoy the view. There is also a small charcoal grill, table and chairs and off to the side of the porch is a fire pit. Kid friendly yard and house."

"This Walloon Lake cottage is in a great location, close to Boyne Mountain and Petoskey. We enjoyed the hot tub and the large fenced yard for our dog. We had everything we needed for our stay and we really appreciated the extra touches such as the smore making ingredients and hot chocolate. We would definitely stay at the cottage again. "
