"Glykeria was truly a special place. We were greeted so warmly by Maria that we instantly felt welcome and at ease. She was incredibly thoughtful, having written down all the recommendations for us before our arrival and making sure that we have everything we needed. "The Monastery Estate is a beautifully restored family house in the tiny village of Moni, not far from Sougia and the sea. It's an incredibly peaceful, intimate place with comfortable, quirky, stylish rooms and large patios. The view over to the White Mountains is breathtaking and there is great hiking nearby. We were extremely well looked after by Katerina and Marianne - nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful with local suggestions. Highly recommended! "
