I always read reviews carefully before booking, and Tracy’s property had nothing but glowing ones—but even those didn’t fully prepare me for how stunning it is or how incredible Tracy is as a host. She’s truly thought of everything. Forgot a flat iron? There’s one there you can use in case of emergency. Need a sewing kit because a button popped off? She has that too. Even the cabinets are thoughtfully labeled to make finding things easy. This stay truly raised the bar for my expectations!

Fantastic trip! Loved this house - cosy, wonderful mid-century modern with updated kitchen - great layout. Has a “foresty” feel with an interesting view of the water. Short walk to the famous Lone Cypress, and other fantastic viewpoints. Easy drive to Carmel and Monterey. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect. What a gem of a home. We feel so lucky to have been able to stay here. The location can't be beat. The guest house is very comfortable and accommodating. The main house is extraordinary; so accommodating for cooking and relaxing. We can't wait to come back.

Paradise and a Hero's Home!

What a beautiful home with great amenities, including plush white robes, fluffy pillows that made us want to stay in bed, nice smelling soaps and shampoos/conditioners in the bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, including a huge fridge full of condiments, and every utensil and pot/pan you would need. There is also a welcome bar in the living room with a huge assortment of spirits and a sweet sign inviting us to enjoy a drink. There was a nice patio off the kitchen where we got to sip our coffee in the morning looking out on the ocean as well as a wonderful patio off the living room where we got to enjoy wine and a charcuterie board, with a fire pit table where we watched and listened to the ocean. We stayed out there all evening! It was so peaceful! I never wanted that night to end. Plus, the house is surrounded by trees, so you feel like you are in a forest, away from anyone. We were greeted on Saturday morning by a buck and two fawns, which was breathtaking. Something else that took our breath away was the man that built and lived in the home. He is a WWII veteran HERO, and we loved reading about everything he was a part of, including rescuing a bunch of people from a concentration camp! We have so many precious memories from our trip to this beautiful home. This was our first sisters trip, and this home made it perfect! Tracy and Cheryl were quick to respond and were so kind and helpful. We definitely want to come back!

Well stocked and comfortable house

We liked having the 2 bedrooms in the main house and the 3rd bedroom in the guest house right outside of the kitchen area.The bedroom upstairs has a loft area with pull out sofa- great for a couple of kids!Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms Beautiful view- and enjoyed the firepit too.

Best birthday

I personally was not able to stay for this fun weekend as it was a birthday weekend surprise for my husband and his siblings. However the results are in: they had a great experience. I was sent multiple videos of how amazing the property and the architecture of this gem. I did have a great experience with communication with Tracy. I was told the check in was easy and it was clean. What we call white glove delivery. I told my husband that I am jealous and he will take me back for my own personal experience. *great location *great parking*great beds*clean*great communication *forest/ocean views
