D was very gracious in letting me know if I needed anything to let her know. The accomodations were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Bed very comfortable. I would definitely consider booking with D again as I found the privacy offered here was conducive to a personal retreat space. I loved that there were 2 parks within walking distance(only one park opened during the winter season). Watching the wildlife was a very relaxing and enjoyable.

This home is so cozy and was perfect for me. The hosts were very thorough with explaining everything and when I did have a question they answered promptly. There are all the amenities you need, the heat worked wonderfully (I visited in November) and the bed was really comfortable. Its quiet but close to most everything you would need. The views are stunning and wildlife is easily spotted. I will be returning and have already recommended it to my family. 5 stars!

Amazing view & proximity to the lake

Well stocked kitchen & bathroom. Location is awesome; wildlife viewing perfect for all types of birds and waterfowl...and if you like to fish, plenty of shoreline to fish from in front of the cottage.

Fun Weekend

Had a great getaway for the weekend in Paw Paw! D was a great host and gave clear instructions for entrance and exit. Snow made it a bit difficult to see at times, but the orange poles near the end of the drive way was very helpful for getting in and out. Cute little place and would love to return in the spring!

Great quick getaway

We had an awesome time in Paw Paw. We travel to Michigan each fall for apple picking and decided to stay the night and it was well worth it! Our hosts were wonderful, the check in and out processes were easy and the location was great! Right on the lake with a great view, but close to town with places to eat and things to do!

A cozy lakeside getaway

This rental was very clean and well taken care of. A beautiful spot right on Maple lake with a small dock, gazebo, and kayaks. It was very quiet with the surrounding homes and other rental next door. The property owners were responsive and very easy to work with. We would definitely stay again. This is a good spot for a couples retreat, or even just someone looking to just relax for a few days. It's conveniently only about 1 mile from downtown Paw Paw, which offers up plenty of good dining options, wineries, breweries, and live music venues in the summer months.

Our Venture

The property was so cute and clean. We enjoyed our stay and think we could come back without hesitation. The property sets just steps from the lake and the lake is beautiful. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The owners are friendly but respect your privacy. There is lots to do just a drive away but then you get to come back to the very peaceful property. We both would give this property a high rating and would have no issues recommending it.

Quiet, relaxing, nice views of Maple Lake. Made for an enjoyable long weekend getaway. Island Park was in walking distance. Enjoyed kayaking on the lake. Close enough to Lake Michigan to day trip to the beach towns. Sleeping area was a little tight, but not an issue. Host were very friendly and accommodating. Recommend!

Adorable 😍

The property was beautiful with a wonderful view of the lake! The house was beautiful and the perfect size for a couple. The hosts had plenty of supplies in the bathroom in case you forget anything. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, and if we wanted to eat out, we were very close town as well. We’re hoping to come back soon!

Cozy Getaway

This is our second stay at this cottage and we will keep coming back! Both times have been in the colder months and we love being able to relax and watch TV and have a amazing view at the same time. The ducks, geese, and swans are entertaining to watch. The blankets to snuggle up with on the couch are a nice touch. One of these days we will come in the summer and take advantage of the fire pit and spend some time outside. We love your place!

Great place

Lovely place to stay! The hosts were welcoming and helpful. I had thought the location would be more remote, but that was an incorrect assumption on my part. Even though it’s pretty close to other houses and a busy road, my stay was still quiet and peaceful.

The Hut Is Perfect

We had a great stay. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. They provide local food suggestions. Views are amazing. Cute little place that was quiet and peaceful. Will definitely be back next spring! 5* all the way!

We loved being off Maple Lake it was so beautiful at night and in the morning!! Ducks swimming and walking up the shore was delightful 😊 The hut was adorable and definitely cozy ☺️ Recommend this place to everyone!!

I had the pleasure spending two nights with my favorite person in the world at the Cozy Quonset Hut. It was the perfect setting providing a peaceful and Serene get away experience. The only thing that could have been better is if we had two more nights. Five stars in every category. We will definitely consider a return trip. Thank you Donna and David for being great host!

A great home away from home!
