"A small group of friends, myself, and my two dogs stayed here to watch the solar eclipse. The spacious backyard was the perfect place for eclipse viewing and the small town was close enough to Lake Placid for a morning shopping trip but far enough away to avoid the traffic. The house itself has GORGEOUS views, a relaxing hot tub (perfect for after a long hike), and a fully equipped kitchen. Overall it was the perfect home away from home to spend a long weekend."

"My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The location was good, 20 mins or less to Saranac, about 30 or so mins to Lake Placid mirror lake. The house was clean and kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Beds were comfortable, heating was more than adequate. The yard and lake access was fun. "It was cold during our stay and being right on top of the water there was a very large temperature gradient from the floor to ceiling. We had an infant sleeping in a pack n play on the floor and so it was necessary to blow a fan and move the air. The temp at the floor on our baby monitor was reading 61 while the heat in the room was set to 77. So be aware if you have an infant. Additionally the floor was bowing and popping up in many places. Likely due to extreme temperature swings or humidity....

"We had a lovely 3-day stay. The cabin is beautiful and the pictures represent it well. The picture window overlooking the lake is a glorious way to start a morning, and the deck and fire pit are wonderful ways to take in the lake in a quiet setting. We also enjoyed the beach a short walk away. The location is great- a mile or so outside of town and close to hiking trails. The kitchen was clean and fully outfitted to cook, and we took advantage of that a lot. We’d happily stay again."

"Amazing experience... a must stay!! The communication with the owners was outstanding. Yann was so kind and informative. He ensured we had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasant one. We stayed in the Norway cabin which was so cute and super clean. The cabin was equipped with everything you need... even a Keurig coffee machine! We especially enjoyed the fireplace. It was such a wonderful experience that we're ready to plan our next visit. 5 stars in our books! "
