Parque provincial Marble Canyon

Pavilion Lake in the Marble Canyon Provincial Lake, BC, has a maximum recorded depth of 65m (213’). The beautiful clear blue waters are groundwater fed and have unique and fragile structures on the bottom of the lake. The structures are of various shapes and sizes, some up to 3m high and are estimated to have started forming 11,000 years ago after the glaciers receded from the area. (September 2019)

An incredibly beautiful place to pull over and sleep or explore the area of your heading to Whistler. There are rest room available and campsites are on a self registration basis at 18.00 per night. Each site has a fire pit and bears are known to wander in the area. The park also warns of wasps and hornets in the summer months.
