"A lovely place with amazing mountain views, the bed was very comfortable, the room had everything you needed and being close to dayboro was great. Only negative was the noise when the aircon is on it was a loud vibrating noise through the room, we ended up leaving it on fan which solved the issue. Another very minor issue was the TV, it was abit small for how far away the bed/couch was but not a big deal. Would recommend this place to others."

"View is amazing, however if you cannot get a good night sleep due to the state of the bed it doesn't matter how nice the view is. Bed base had clearly been broken for a while and been repaired poorly in the past so had 2 shocking nights of the 3 that we stayed. Bed was patched up before night 3 and sincerely hope the owner has since replaced the base. Extra bed consists of a blowup mattress that 'looses' air during the night so have to pump up multiple times during the night. Only received one...

"When I checked into this hotel and entered my room, I found that the large glass panel of the balcony door was completely shattered into small pieces. I do not know the cause. Of course, I immediately called the hotel management to report the issue. After waiting for a considerable amount of time, I was told at around 7:00 PM that I had two options: either receive a 100% refund and cancel the booking, or stay in the room as it was. "Nice clean room. Very comfortable bed. I am not sure if this motel was used to house people who may not have a home, and if they are housing these people I applaud them for doing so, but some guests were very noisy and inconsiderate (including their children) by making noise and talking loudly at 1 am."

"Very welcoming. Felt like staying at a friend or family members home. Very polite and respectful staff. Close walk to village for any supplies needed, and plenty of restaurant choices. Love the out door veranda and comfortable lounge deck chair. Plenty of space so not to feel on top of each other. Comfortable bedding and very nicely decorated. I will stay again when I’m in Ashgrove."
