"Lovely studio in downtown...despite being downtown. Owner was very receptive Studio had everything we needed such as sundry items...coffee pods, sugar, salt pepper and earplugs...to drown out the load seagulls. Short walk to the Ampitheater. Classic art deco buildings along the walk and quite few decent restaurants"

"Property was as advertised. We needed to stay somewhere close for our daughters graduation at Fairfield and this worked great. It was a short 10 minute drive to campus. Good value for the money. Thank you."

"We spent a long weekend at this comfortable and clean unit. It is conveniently located with a designated parking spot right outside the door. Only 2 exterior steps down to the private entrance worked out great for our older Labrador Retriever who has difficulty with steps these days. The layout works well with a separate bedroom and living room, connected by a small kitchen with a full size refrigerator and small countertop oven unit (no cooktop). Bathroom is nice as well. "Great experience. Very close to a lot of downtown restaurants and Bridgeton. 10 to 15 mnutes from the beach. Lots of added special touches and amenities. Great job by the host."

"Our stay at the Black Rock Estates was very comfortable. The place was very clean and the communications and services were impeccable. The price was very reasonable as well. I would feel quite comfortable to stay there again. "

"Everything was as advertised, and the space felt accommodating. Susana was very responsive to all questions. This is definitely a location that I would recommend, especially to those looking for a weekend getaway with the focus of sitting on the beach.The beach was easily accessible. The only thing I would suggest for anyone looking to swim is to check out the local tide schedule. The beach is fairly shallow so it’ll extend quite a ways during low tide.Also, while it wasn’t a deal breaker or...

"Yes, parking on the street was new to us but we didn’t have any problems finding spots. Because the restaurants are within walking distance we didn’t cook at all. Walked to the bodega for a few staple items, snacks, milk, etc.Unique neighborhood vibe and really enjoyed ourselves. "

"I had such a great time in Stamford! Very lovely town and a very lovely property. It is a 15 minute walk to downtown so I’d recommend loaning a car or using rideshare services. The unit also has quite low ceilings, so it does feel a bit cramped if you’re over 6 foot.Overall, a very great unit and communicative hosts."

"Although my original plans for the weekend changed I had a wonderful rainy stay. There are definitely a lot of food options in the area to choose from, and the walkability to the beach albeit cold and off-season was very nice. My only downside would be there were a lot of remotes and no clear placement of where which went to, the tv did not have cable(or at the very least I couldn't figure out how to use it), the only real option for air flow was to crack the windows, but otherwise a very nice...
