Easy and convenient check-in process, very helpful staff at Westgate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as part of a bigger family reunion in Park City, and much appreciated the well equipped kitchen, and the freedom that comes with being able to prepare your own meals!

Disappointing

We stayed at the westgate last year and had a great experience so we were very disappointed this year. Our unit smelled horrible when we first opened it- like musty, stale water. When we looked around we opened the shower and the smell was so strong. We ran the water and poured the body wash all around it. We had to do the same with the other shower. This helped but there was an odor our whole stay. I emailed and was just told they’d talk to housekeeping but no remedy. Our dishes that were in the cabinet had grime on them, the light fixtures and coffee/end tables were dusty… it was like the unit had been abandoned for months and never refreshed.

Great location, Good place to stay.

We stayed here with our two late-teens sons. The location was amazing. We skiied both from the Canyons and also used the hotel's free shuttle to ski from the Park City side.The shuttle was great.The hotel was a literal maze. It was very confusing of how to great around and utilize all the facilites. It seems that three separate hotels were connected on specific floors. We had to walk down long halls and switch multiple elevators to get around.Our room(s) were good and fairly comfortable. The two king beds could use new matteress. The third bed is a pull-out and is far from comfortable. The availability of a mattress topper would be a great improvement. Other than that, the room(s) provided us everything that we needed.

Excellent trip

Really enjoyed staying here while skiing with our adult sons. The property is vast, with amenities as described. All 3 pools were open, seemed clean and were lightly used. We grabbed coffee in the lobby bar, and ate at Drafts during our stay, both were good. The room itself was clean and exactly as pictured on VRBO, with a bedroom, living room/kitchen and a second bedroom/studio lockout. The beds were comfy, the stay quiet. Plenty of pans, silverware and plates for breakfast daily. Everything was very clean, and the items stocked (paper towels, dishwasher detergent) were adequate for our stay. Could use more than one trash bag, we just kept our Walmart sacks but one tiny trash can liner isn’t enough for 4 people. Would suggest upgrading the coffee pot to a Keurig for ease. The provided coffee was really weak. Ski valet and locker room made skiing a breeze. It was nice to have indoor parking too. Would definitely stay here again!

Love Westgate

Upon arrival it was clear that Westgate didn’t properly clean the unit. However, iTrip Park City went above and beyond making things right. Situations that were outside of their control being the property management company but fall onto them to correct were done well and I appreciated them. Great double unit for a family!

Sports Trip

Location was great for our family of five there for a lacrosse trip for our son. Plenty of towels, toiletries, coffee, trash bags, etc. for our three night stay. Wish there were more food options at the Canyons base, but the Starbucks, marketplace and DBB were nice to have nearby.

Great bison lodge unit for family stay

We love the Westgate abs have booked numerous properties through Itrip. Itrip is always very responsive and accommodating. We got in early to park city well before the check in and wanted to get changed into our gear to get on the mountain, I asked Itrip if we could get into one of the rooms that was “ready” and they communicated with the front desk swiftly to accommodate the request. A++++ the room works well for our family of four and is spacious for all of our gear. Clean and well appointed as we expect from Westgate rooms.

Great place!

Canyons is a great area to stay in. It has some restaurants and the concerts are so fun! It’s also very convenient to get into town or Kimball Junction. Westgate has great shuttles to get around also. Would definitely recommend Westgate!!

Great ski-in/ski-out condo’

Great space for a family! Property offers easy options for ski and boot rental, multiple pools and hot tubs and ping-pong tables, vending machines, and a game room for the kids. Condo is very nicely appointed. One negative was that the online said it was two king-size beds, and one is a queen. Two pull out sofas and well-appointed kitchen. Washer dryer in unit is fabulous!! I would stay here again!

Overall good

Location is quite good. It’s a bit of a walk through the facility to get out, but once you find your way, it’s fairly straightforward. Quiet. Nice amenities like the spa, indoor/outdoor pool, coffee shop on site, ski valet. Great restaurants! Skiing is of course fantastic and less busy than down in Mtn Village. King beds were comfortable, but the sofa beds were horrible. Very springy and not comfortable. Ended up sleeping on the couch cushions instead. Some room components were really showing age or need for service. Clothes washing machine didn’t drain right all the time and some loads had to be rewashed or re-rinsed. Dishwasher didn’t get things clean even with scraping off bits of food. One shower was hard to turn on and vanity mirrors in the bathrooms are falling off. Ceiling fan in smaller room squeaks so we couldn’t sleep with it on. All that said, overall it had the facilities we were looking for, and we were able to make do and be comfortable, enjoy the area, make meals and relax together.

Convenient ski in ski out

This was our second year staying at one of these two bedroom Westgate units. We easily fit four adults and three small children into the unit. Having the full kitchen and the washer dryer was so convenient. This particular unit is farther away from the indoor pool and arcade, which is the only downside of the unit. Last year we stayed in a unit that was very close to the exit to the base of the mountain, as well as the indoor pool and arcade, which are where my little kids spent most of their time. The property manager was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. The price of this unit is great compared to other similar units! Makes it worth the extra walk!

Stay was great, but could use some work!

The Condo was great, we had plenty of room for everyone, however, when you know you have 5 guests coming & staying for 3 night/3days, I would think they would leave you more shampoo/conditioner, body wash, trash bags. (I was told in an email that the house/condo was fully stocked with extras of all that stuff. The only extras was toilet paper & 1 roll of paper towels). We had 1 trash bag for the kitchen which got filled up within the 1st 24 hours. There was no housekeeping during our stay, which is now normal, so Thank goodness we had gone shopping & had grocery bags we could use for trash bags. The 2nd bedrooms lightswitch didn't work AT ALL. NADA. ZILTCH. The Fan was stuck on. Good thing the person sleeping in there didn't mind. I would've been PISSED if it was me, as I get cold easy.
