Mark the host was an amazing communicator and host! The property was beautiful and in a perfext location for Deer Valley and Park City! Basically ski in/out in Deer Valley!

Beware when submitting a request for booking! Make sure you are 100% sure you want to book this place and you don’t need to make any changes or you’re within the free cancellation period because Mark will NOT reply to your messages about that and will accept your booking request no matter what. Even VRBO was trying to get hold of him for weeks and they said they couldn’t get hold of him. And VRBO has no way of retracting your request for booking. Not sure how Mark got such great reviews for communication bec he responds quickly if you’re asking for simple requests, like extra soap, but if you bring up any issues, he doesn’t respond to your message. Hence, the 3 stars bec communication is really important to me so I was stressed that we would have issues getting help if we need to find the place or get into the unit since he was so unresponsive. The place is nice and clean, however, one of the towels had stains and looked dirty. The pillows were also too soft but I found a couple of extra ones that were more firm but had no pillowcase. Extra clean sheets and pillowcases would be nice to have. The cookware was good heavy quality and good selection of cooking utensils, spices, and supplies. The unit is 5 mins walk (in regular shoes) to the Carpenter & Silverlake Lodge lift which was super convenient. Shared laundry with the building was just outside the condo and there were 3 washers and dryers so that was convenient as well. We loved having 3 full bathrooms.

Exceeded expectations

Mark’s place was perfect for our weekend trip to Deer Valley. We really loved the hot tub and fireplace after skiing. The kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy. Everything was clean. We were only there three days and chose to take the parking lot shuttle across the street to snow park lodge each day and used the Park City shuttle service down the street (a right turn walking out of Red Stag Lodge) to get to Main Street in just a few minutes for free. It was all super easy. Mark was also helpful with our questions. Highly recommend!

Walk to Deer Valley

Property location was amazing- we walked to Deer Valley to ski. Hot tub was great and the property owner had nice white robes for us to wear. Property was clean and accommodating.

Great Condo and Excellent Location

The condo was great and well stocked. Both bedrooms are very large and beds were comfortable. Short walk to lifts, easy enough for a 4 and 6 year old. Would definitely stay here again. Property Manager was very responsive with any questions we had while visiting.

Absolutely Perfect Deer Valley Condo

My family of 4 had a great stay in Deer Valley. The condo is in a very good location to town and Deer Valley ski resort, is very nice and the private hot tub is a great touch after a long day of skiing. We will be back.

Great condo, great host

The condo was beautiful, clean, and matched the description. The private hot tub was great. Location was walking distance to deer valley ski resort. Very comfortable and fun. There was a small hiccup with the check in instructions. They either didn’t get sent or I missed them in my email. I didn’t realize this until we needed to check in. Mark was extremely responsive and gracious about getting us instructions. Overall, great trip and I will probably stay again next year.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!

We go to Deer Valley every year for one week and we’ve stayed in some good places and some great places. Mark’s condo at Red Stag Lodge was PERFECT. It was a short walk (3 minutes) to the slopes every morning. So convenient! The beds were so COMFORTABLE, high end sheets, bedding, and mattresses. The jacuzzi after each day was skiing was the best. This was literally one of the best jacuzzis we have been in. It had Bluetooth and played my songs. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and even had a pound of fresh coffee waiting for us. We will DEFINITELY stay in Mark’s condo again. One note: the water heater is 50 gallons. One evening two people took two different baths and then I had a tepid shower. The next night we all 5 stuck to showers and there was plenty of water. You don’t need a bath anyways because the jacuzzi is better than a bath!

This was the perfect place in Deer Valley!! Took the family skiing and we couldn’t have stayed in a more perfect place. The condo had everything we could have ever needed. Walked to the slopes and shuttle. Owner Mark is amazing. We can’t wait to return!
