The apartment was very dirty, the floors and walls were covered in dirty, the shower curtain was covered in mold, the side of the queen bed and headboard were dirty. The kitchen drain smelled like rotting food and the front single bed was so thin, small and too uncomfortable to even sleep on.

Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist perfekt: diejenigen, die gerne und gut zu Fuß sind, können von hieraus einen Spaziergang zum Sacre Cœur machen und dabei fernab der Hauptstraßen das 17. Arrondissement kennen lernen und durch die kleinen Gassen von Montmartre bummeln. Auch sind der Arc de Triomphe und der Eiffelturm fußläufig erreichbar, wenn man Zeit, schönes Wetter und Lust hat. Andernfalls sind Bus und Métro sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Bäckereien und Cafés ganz in der Nähe.Die Wohnung ist gepflegt und das nötigste ist da, Gleichzeitig könnte die Küchenausstattung von einigen Dingen mehr haben: große sowie kleine flache Teller, Schüsseln, Gläser und Tassen. Wir waren zu zweit und kamen mit Improvisation klar, für drei Personen ist jedoch zu wenig.Das Zimmer mit dem Einzelbett ist sehr klein und ebenso das Bett selbst. Mit meinen 1,62 m war es für mich schon grenzwertig.Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war ausgezeichnet. Wir kamen später als geplant an und dennoch hat sie geduldig auf uns gewartet und begrüßt. Sie war erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten.Mit Blick darauf, dass man meistens Paris besucht, um tagsüber die Stadt zu erkunden, ist die Wohnung wunderbar. Für einen ganztägigen Aufenthalt bzw. Erholungsurlaub drinnen würde ich mir jedoch was anderes suchen.

Our stay was wonderful. It was located well in that you could take public transportation to any of the locations that we wanted, and the apartment was clean and had all of the comforts needed for our stay. And, a wonderful touch by our host was an umbrella hanging by the door to use since it rained pretty much every day during our stay.

Living Like a Local in a Non-Touristy Neighborhood

We loved the authentic feel of staying in a grand old building on a side street in a normal neighborhood in Paris. We avoided the hoards of tourists in more trendy areas, and we felt like we experienced Paris more as a local would. The Metro and bus stops were a quick walk away. The apartment is compact, but has a roomy living room with comfortable furniture. The kitchen is small but well equipped. The bathroom and toilet room are separate and would be tight for larger Americans, but this did not affect our enjoyment of staying here. It felt good and comfortable to come home to after a busy day of sightseeing or visiting museums.Our only regret is that the host waited until the day of our arrival to send check in instructions. Ee arrived at the airport to find out our eSIMs didn't work on our cell phones, so we could only communicate with the host when we had wifi at the airport. So we had to write down all the instructions with pen and paper (and we missed a step) causing delay, frustration, and panic. We got locked out one night and couldn't get in (because we wrote down the wrong one of two codes); fortunately, after about a half hour, a fellow resident came by and let us in. This could have all been avoided if the host had sent instructions weeks in advance ( before we left the US) and I could have printed them out like I always do as a backup in case something awful like this does happen (one can't always depend on technology).

Two evenings in Paris

The apartment was just what we needed for my wife, two granddaughters, and myself. There were many restaurants within a short walk as well as transportation alternatives. Approximately 30 to 40 minutes to Charles Degaulle and Gare de Lyon train station.

Städtereise Paris

Die Wohnung war für uns ideal für einen Städtetrip nach Paris. Ruhig gelegen, 250m von der nächsten Metro-Station entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants usw. sind alle in der Nähe. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles, was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und die Kommunikation total einfach. Würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen

Safe Place in a Great Neighborhood!

We love this little apartment. Very safe, very clean, shower has great water pressure and a separate water closet for the toilet so you aren't waiting for the toilet while someone showers. Our hosts were wonderful and gave us great tips for the area and navigating the city and checking in was easy! Very great stay with my family.

Paris home stay

Lived like a local in true Paris suburbs, easy to get around, 10 mins from multiple metro spots. Place was clean and well presented with everything you needed for a home stay. The only thing I would mention was the bathroom smelt quite musty as long as I kept the door closed it didn’t bother me too much.
