Heart of Paris.
Incredible location. Walking to pantheon, st germain, notre dame, siene and louvre. Top floor apartment with great views of several monuments including Eiffel Tower. It is a six floor walk up so beware but the price reflects. Good spot.

L’appartement est très bien situé, à deux pas du Luxembourg, du Panthéon. On y trouve tout ce dont on a besoin, lave vaisselle, lave linge et la literie est confortable. C’est un appartement ancien avec du charme, on s’y sent bien.

Un logement confortable, avec une jolie vue, très bien situé pour les visites touristiques. L'accueil fut attentionné et bienveillant. Quelques amendements à la marge à apporter à l'annonce concernant l'absence de sèche linge et de dosettes de café. Nous n'avons pas pu faire fonctionner la TV. Un excellent séjour.

Supersüß und zentral
Küche, Bad, Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer mit Ausziehbett, mit jeweils gescheiten Matratzen. Zu Fuß ca. 20 min bis zur Seine, 5 min bis zum Pantheon. 5 min zum Jardin Luxembourg. RER in der Nähe, Metro ca. 20 min entfernt. Bus direkt vor der Tür. Wir waren zu viert und es hat super gepasst. Einen großen Koffer sollte man nicht dabei haben, da man 6 Stockwerke über eine schmale Wendeltreppe hoch muss. Dafür hat man vom Küchenfenster Blick auf dem Eifelturm und auf der anderen Seite auf das Pantheon. Für uns war die Wohnung perfekt 😊

Great location and good views.
Very clean flat, happy with the amenities, kitchen, washer, and other appliances. Be in shape for the 104 spiral step climb!!! Very little storage so we had to live out of our baggage, but still better than a hotel room. overall happy with stay at flat.

First time in Paris
Small French flat but we enjoyed it. 7 flights of spiral staircase made it impossible to go out once we climbed up after a long day out sightseeing. Host met us at the door and showed us up to our rooms. Small view of Eiffel but still nice.

Appartamento meraviglioso, siamo stati in 3, con mia moglie e mia figlia. Abbiamo trovato tutto il necessario compreso un ottimo benvenuto per cui ringraziamo Alain. Posizione ideale, con ogni servizio nelle vicinanze e molto vicino alla Citè. Si gode veramente Parigi dai tetti con i balconi fioriti dell'appartamento. Ottimo anche per l'allenamento... Terrific base for a visit to Paris.
We really enjoyed staying at this property. Alain was very accommodating and helpful. Despite an epic heat wave in Paris we were comfortable. The location near Luxembourg gardens and the Pantheon was great.

Great location
The location was great right next to the Luxemburg gardens, 5 min walk to METRO. The view from the apartment was beautiful and the plants on the window ledges made it homey. The downside were the stairs but they were not horrible but if your not used to the physical exertion they might be overwhelming. The noise from the traffic and construction was very loud and since it was warm the windows had to be open otherwise it would be too hot. Had issues with TV so we just gave up and did not even try it would have been nice to just relax and watch TV at the end of day. Second room had no where to store clothes, random closet with hangers but full of cleaning supplies and vacuum. Too many tiny end tables that took up valuable space in this apartment. The bathroom tub was a bit dangerous, it was an odd shape and design and high off the ground but no handle bars to hold onto. I would have given the place a 5 but it was a bit dirty when we got there, i had to clean it myself (hair in the sink, water stains on the wood in the bathroom and rotten food in the fridge.

Stayed 3 nights & loved the location. Very close to the metro, 1 block from Luxembourg gardens, walking distance to Catacombs, & easy access to all zone 1 Paris attractions. Yes -- there are a LOT of stairs. 107 to be exact, but the view makes it worth it. The flat is decent-sized, the kitchen is all updated. The bed in the main bedroom is nice, and the sofa converts to a very large bed-- basically two twin-sized mattresses side by side after you pull it out, so it easily accommodated both our teen girls. The only negative was the shower curtain. It had mold or mildew on it & really needs to be replaced. The rest of the flat was very clean. Would stay here again.

Paris Perfection
This was an amazing apartment in a great location. Walking distance to Luxembourg gardens. A handy atm, general grocers, pharmacy and cafes all really close. Larger supermarkets a short bus ride away (or walk if you want to carry them) and an amazing bakery across the road. Very clean and my entire family loved it. The view from the windows are amazing and let in a pleasant evening breeze. Owner was super friendly and made us feel instantly welcomed.

The work is worth it -- but reviews are not kidding about the stairs!
Alain meets you at the door and helps with your luggage -- a big shout out to him for that! The steps are for real: 106, or 70 seconds climbing straight up a narrow spiral staircase (stay to the wall for widest steps). The view is spectacular, gazing out at Paris apartments and rooftops, tiny view of the Eiffel Tower and the Montparnasse building in the distance. Along with the sights of Paris comes, not surprisingly, the sounds of sirens wailing to add to the atmosphere. The unit is authentically Parisian, as in smallish – but unscreened windows in every room open wide to eliminate any closed-in feeling. The bed is a comfortable King and there is a single bed in the “living room,” which acts as a couch or can become a bed.. Again, smallish in all respects but you are most definitely in the center of things – 3 blocks to the Luxembourg RER Station, close to the Luxembourg Gardens, walkable to Notre Dame and the Pantheon as well as the entire Left Bank. Stovetop and oven/microwave (we couldn't figure any of it out, rummaged for instruction booklet to no avail). Refrigerator, Nespresso, French drip coffee-maker and an electric kettle. Bathtub and shower with again, another big window. We did not dare the washer in the bathroom (no dryer unless this is a combo but again, no instructions). Your window on the Paris world awaits you if you’ve got those stairs in you! P.S. If you visit the Eiffel Tower and take the lift to the very top, that too takes 70-seconds – just like your climb to this charming atelier in the sky!

Parfait!
Tolle wohnung, ideal gelegen. Das appartment ist sauber und gut aufgeteilt, ideal fuer 4 personen. Die 5 stockwerke kann man als sportliche betaetigung gut nuetzen, nach einem ausschweifendem essen. Monsieur alain ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Jederzeit wuerden wir die wohnung wieder buchen.

A wonderful base for a visit in an excellent neighborhood
We loved this little flat as our home base for 9 days in Paris. There are great places to pick up food very close by, including a creperie; Le Petit Jacques for sandwiches and meats; Patisserie Sebastien a couple of blocks away and another pretty good patisserie right across the street, outstanding restaurant Les Papilles just down the street and more. The flat is well-situated to walk to the main attractions of Paris, e.g. Notre Dame, the Louvre and other museums, etc. Public transportation was easy to use and quite convenient. The flat was comfortable, well-furnished with all necessities, and you do get used to climbing six flights of stairs eventually. It is great to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle out of your kitchen window at the top of each hour after dark.

Très bel appartement, lumineux et confortable
Très bon séjour. Bon accueil du propriétaire. Appartement bien isolé car on entendait peu de bruit de l'extérieur et bien équipé en chauffage. Lit très confortable, même le canapé-lit, les enfants l'ont "adoré". Belle cuisine équipée avec vue sur la Tour Eiffel et la Tour Montparnasse. Seul bémol, le sèche-serviette qui ne se déclenchait que le matin et non à la demande.

Fantastic location!
The location is fantastic! It was lovely to see the Eiffel Tower flashing at night. We enjoyed the spiral staircase. We were two adults and two tall teens, and the small space got a bit crowded in the beginning but we quickly adjusted. We would love to stay there again!

The views were amazing. The flat was great. Had all you would need during your stay. The host went over and above. The neighborhood offers a locals experience of Paris. Was close to a subway and many Parisian sights. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is because although warned of the many steps (107 to be exact) climbing them daily isn’t for everyone. Keeping that in mind....We would definitely stay there again.

Süße Wohnung und sehr zentral
Die Wohnung ist schön mit genug Platz für 4 Personen und einer gut ausgestatteten Küche. Einziges Manko sind die 107 Stufen zum 5. Stock über eine sehr steile und enge Wendeltreppe. Einen großen Koffer sollte man nicht mitnehmen!!! Die Aussicht versöhnt einen aber für die Anstrengung! Man kann den Eiffelturm, Tour. Monparnasse und das Pantheon sehen. Die Wohnung liegt im Studentenviertel, welches wir auch Abends als sicher empfunden haben. Bis Notre Dame geht man ca. 15 Minuten. Es gibt jeweils eine Busverbindung die einen in ca. 15-20 Minuten direkt zum Louvre (27) oder Eiffelturm (82) bringt. Der Jardin du Luxembourg ist nur 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Wir würden diese Wohnung wieder buchen.

Delightful
So glad we stayed here! This was a little treasure for us to savour inner Paris. Yes the stairwell steps take some effort but it was all the more memorable bcs of it. An easy walk to a choice of several metro stations and accessible by foot to major landmarks. Well appointed kitchen comfortable sleeping and can easily see the upper half of the Eiffel Tower in her sparkling glory from the kitchen. Really grateful for this gem.

Very spacious and comfortable
The place is large with 2 sleeping areas, beds very comfortable, a fully equipped kitchen, very nice modern bathroom with tub, lots of ammenities! Even a washer (was easy to use). Lovely views. There were more amenities than expected (shampoo, body wash, coffee, etc.). The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the stairs, we had been warned in the reviews... after walking all day in Paris and taking the metro with lots of stairs, we didn’t look forward to climbing more stairs, but we did it! When people recommend , small , light luggage, pay attention, we thought we did small, not small enough! Pack extremely light! A very light backpack, regular luggage was tough to carry up, even the small carry on style. Location was 15 minutes walk from Notre Dame, and the Seine, 3 minutes from Luxembourg metro station (very convenient) which we too straight from the airport. Near the hop on/off bus route. Alain was available if we needed anything.

Appartement original, neuf et bien équipé, mais des points négatifs tout de même.
Comme précisé plus haut, l'appartement a du cachet, deux vues différentes sur paris, son équipement est complet, la literie est confortable, il est neuf au niveau peintures. Malheureusement il est situé au sixième étage sans ascenseur, ce qui n'était pas mentionné, heureusement je visite Paris avec mes enfants et pas ma maman de 70 ans... Il y fait chaud car sous les combles, donc très bruyant quand on veut aérer et ouvrir les fenêtres. Pour finir, je dirais que je ne suis pas sure de la fraîcheur de la literie ni du nettoyage des sols, même si dans l'ensemble ce n'est pas vraiment sale.

Perfect location
This is a lovely little apartment within walking distance of all the amazing sites of Paris. It is very clean, well equipped and the host Alain is very accommodating. The steps to the apartment are steep and curving and there are 120 of them, so keep your luggage small and light. Lovely roof top view as shown in the photo. Highly recommend.

Most charming flat in Paris!
We loved our stay in Paris in this charming apartment! My girlfriends and I arrived around noon time to the complex and the host greeted us soon after to show us the location to our apartment. The stairs to the apartment are definitely steep and curvy - don’t bring large suitcases because it will be a hassle lugging them up! We did get quite a workout every day going up those stairs, but even with the stairs the apartment is totally worth it! There are 5 windows throughout the place and the natural light is beautiful during the day. From one side of the building you can see the Pantheon and from another side the Tour Montparnasse and the Eiffel Tower. My favorite time was to sit in the kitchen by the windows and watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night, those were the best memories! The host was very kind and helpful and showed us how to connect to the internet and gave us his number to connect with him in case of anything. We definitely used the washing machine and at the end of our stay we figured out that the apartment also has a towel warmer! It also has a tiny closet and an ironing board and an iron- which was extremely useful to iron out the wrinkles from my evening dress. The kitchen was fully loaded with all the utensils: we made breakfast almost every morning and dinner in the evenings. Ask the host to show you how to operate the stove, I’ve never used one of those (maybe in Europe they are well known?) but I did had to google the manual to be able to turn it on and off. The area is very safe and even walking late at night we felt pretty safe in the neighborhood. The nearest metro stop is Luxembourg which is one of the larger stations... the Luxembourg gardens are almost across the street from the apartment and opened daily at 7:30am - had I known how close they were I would have went for a good jog! But to go there early in the morning is very relaxing as well. There’s a bakery accross the street and one a bit further down closer to the RER/metro station- both are very delicious and the staff is super friendly! When I will be back in Paris, I am definitely staying here! The apartment is decently located near Norte Dame and other famous sightseeing areas, from the apartment we walked to Louvre, Norte Dame and the Seine River. We shopped at monoprix store in the area for all the groceries- decently priced and we were happy with selections! We booked for 4 adults and all had plenty of space to breathe.

Cosy little apartment.
Good value, great location. Thankfully the owner’s friend helped us with our suitcases. Pack lightly. It is a long way up the steep spiral stairs. It definitely got us in shape for the four floor walk up in Italy. The people of Paris were lovely , helpful and friendly. We are going back in warmer weather. Robin and Karyn

Home away from home, really!
I absolutely loved my stay! Phillip was a wonderful host! Very kind and helpful! The apartment was exactly as it was advertised. Clean and comfortable with fantastic views of the city AND the Eiffel Tower. The neighborhood surrounding the flat was so perfect. Not touristy. It was full of great shops and restaurants. There is a really cool street just a few blocks away that is full of open sea food, pastry, cheese, and charcuterie shops. "Snacking" Boulangerie Patissier is right across from the entrance to the building, and it is full of wonderful goodies. There is also Le Petit Jacques on the other side of the building, go in there!! They have the best Foie Gras, Cheese, Charcuterie and pastries. It's family owned and they could not have been more friendly and welcoming! This is the perfect location, centrally located and easy to walk to many great must see sites, or just wander the surrounding neighborhood, it's beautiful! My only regret is that I didn't stay longer.

Zentral gelegene Wohnung, aber sehr viel Verkehrslärm
Zunächst einmal herzlichen Dank an Alain (den Wohnungsbesitzer), uns den Koffer beim Ankommen in den 6. Stock zu tragen! Wir haben uns bei der Buchung sehr auf die durchweg positiven Beurteilungen für die Wohnung verlassen. Leider hat die Wohnung jedoch unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Wenngleich die Aufteilung gut ist, so ist die Wohnung doch sehr beengt. Wir waren zu zweit, zu viert würden wir nicht buchen. Im Schlafzimmer ist gar kein Platz, um z.B. einen Koffer oder eine Tasche abzustellen, im Wohnzimmer im Schrank gerade mal 50 cm, neben vielen anderen Dingen, die dort gelagert werden. Keine Geschirrhandtücher, keine Nespressokapseln (was aber fairerweise auch nicht in der Wohnungsbeschreibung steht). Den Fernseher konnten wir nicht in Gang bringen (trotz anfänglicher Hilfe von Alain). Das Hauptmanko dieser Wohnung ist leider der Verkehrslärm. Die Fenster dichten nicht gut ab und wir konnten trotz Ohrenstöpseln kaum schlafen, da die Wohnung an einer Kreuzung liegt. Außerdem gibt es unten eine Bushaltestelle und man hört die Busse anfahren.

Nette Wohnung in zentraler Lage
Die Wohnung ist nett und gut ausgestattet. Die 107 Treppen bis ganz nach oben fanden wir nicht schlimm. Mit dem Gepäck war es etwas anstrengend, aber machbar. Dafür wird man mit einem Blick auf den Eiffelturm (und Tour Montparnasse) belohnt, der Eiffelturm glitzert ab 18 Uhr für 5 Minuten - dieses Spektakel konnten wir (wenn wir zu Hause waren) vom Küchenfenster aus genießen. Die Lage ist perfekt, man kann zu Fuß gut sowohl Louvre als auch Notre Dame erreichen. Direkt gegenüber gibt es eine Bäckerei, im Viertel kleine Supermärkte, aber auch bezahlbare kleine Restaurants. Zusammengefasst: sehr zu empfehlen!

Nice flat, very nice host
The host met us to give us the keys and show us around when we arrived. The flat is on the 5th floor, which is a lot of stairs, but the host offered to carry our bags for us which was nice. Washing machine is a bit small but very useful. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen has induction stovetop and heats very quickly. The location is excellent for the metro and even walking.

We LOVED our stay in Paris. The unit was clean and so quaint. Beautiful corner unit with a beautiful view all around. The owner was delightful, helpful and so accommodating. The home was really perfect. It was just 2 of us but 4 could stay comfortably. We loved the location and visited the AMAZING bakery across the street daily. The location is perfect. Less than a mile from our favorite part of Paris, Le Buci. Enjoy a DELIGHTFUL stay!!!

Just as the pictures show! Very comfortable, and well stocked with everything you need. And Alain left a lovely bottle of wine as well:) Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, and well suited kitchen! Very clean! The views were fun too. I would suggest ear plugs if you're not used to city noises. And 107 stairs to the top of the 7th floor. Good workout!;)

Great location
Great location and Views in this small flat. Unfortunately it was really hot when we were in Paris, in the 90s, which made the flat quite warm too. No fans available. Even with windows open it was 88 degrees inside the flat in the evenings. And with the windows open there is lots of street noise. The host was very accommodating and even met us for an early check-in, which was really nice after an overnight flight and greatly appreciated!

Beautiful Parisian flat with lots of charm in a great location!
The flat was perfect for me and three other friends! It is in a great location near the Luxembourg Gardens and the Latin Quarter, close to many of the city's best sites. There are also tons of restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby to choose from. Alain was a great host, helping us carry our bags both up and down the stairs and giving us a bottle of wine upon arrival! We loved our stay in Paris and would highly recommend this property!

Loved our stay!
The apartment had lots of great character and everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Location was perfect. The host was quick to respond to email and made check in easy. Only downside is the hike up 5-6 floors on a tight spiral staircase.

Delightful, amazing, spacious, clean and great value
My daughter stayed here for 5 nights. It is a lovely, spacious and clean flat with so many amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies, coffee maker, oven lots of dishes and glasses. The views are amazing and we could open all the windows for a nice breeze. Had to close them at night because of street noise. Great location. 5 min walk to RER station ; 5 min walk to Luxembourg Gardens, 20 min walk to Notre Dame through a wonderful neighborhood shopping area. Would stay here again most definitely

Morgenkaffee mit Blick auf den Eiffelturm
Uns hat die sehr saubere und ansprechend eingerichtete Wohnung sehr gut gefallen; am schönsten ist der Blick von der Küche auf den Eiffelturm. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr angenehm. Die Wohnung ist natürlich klein, aber für 4 Personen (davon 2 Jugendliche) war es für ein paar Tage gut zu machen. Die Wohnung liegt verkehrsgünstig sehr gut, um zu Fuß oder mit der Metro Paris zu erkunden, und das Stadtviertel ist sehr schön, vor allem der Jardin du Luxembourg direkt in der Nähe. Einziger Nachteil: sechs Stockwerke auf einer engen Treppe müssen erst bewältigt werden, bevor man "zu Hause" ist. Trotzdem würden wir jederzeit wieder kommen.
