The unit looks nice but has issues.
The shower was not draining. Within a couple minutes you were standing in a pool of water that then quickly overflowed all over the bathroom floor. We used multiple towels to clean the floor, afraid of what damage this would cause to an old building, not able to use the shower again.
Decided to use the laundry machine, only to find the machine filling up with water when the dryer cycle went on. No one informed us that if the dry cycle isn’t put on within a certain time frame after the wash, it wets the clothes again and essentially you have to start the whole wash/dry cycle again.
The property managers had to look into this and this meant that the night before we were leaving we would be stuck in the apartment for the 3hr cycle. My suggestion is to not use the machine - it created a huge headaches for us with wet clothes we had to pack up.
The air conditioner in the unit does not work. We were there during very hot conditions which I can’t fault anyone for, just be aware of travelling during the summer, the fans did little to cool the unit down. The information book left in the room shows how to work the air conditioner which doesn’t work).
I shared my feedback with one contact and was told the supervisor would be in touch with me and they never reached out.
I liked the look and location of the apartment and had higher hopes and was extremely let down.
