Very nice studio close to the Louvre. We are a couple in our mid 60s and one of us has mobility problems so this studio on the ground floor was ideal. The studio is essentially a hotel room with a kitchenette and a washing machine. The kitchenette is well equipped (better than some apartments I’ve stayed in), with an efficient induction hob if you want to cook a light meal. The bed is large and comfortable and there is a good sized shower cubicle. I found Studio Prestige who manage the studio very quick to respond to my queries and were very helpful. Around the corner in Rue Coquilliere there is a very good Italian deli which sells fresh pasta and other delicious things, as well as a bakery called Baguett. There is a restaurant in the same road called 1ER ART which is very good. The places we visited and enjoyed were the Rodin museum, Fondation Louis Vuitton, the Picasso Museum and sadly we ran out of time to go to musee d’orsay. The Louvre is overcrowded and we prefer more contemporary art so didn’t enjoy as much.
