Very nice apartment

Very nice apartment in excellent location very close to the Louvre and within easy walking distance to Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, the Seine, the Conciergerie, and the Tuileries. It was a short and easily located bus ride to the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides. The neighborhood is very lively with many bars and restaurants. The pizza restaurant downstairs in the building had great food. The apartment was comfortable for our family of a couple and 2 adult daughters. It has updated bathrooms with nice showers and a full modern kitchen. The combo washer/dryer turned out to be a helpful plus. The air conditioning was also essential since it was very hot in Paris during our visit. Overall a wonderful apartment for our stay in Paris.

Wonderful location, great design, a few things need improvement

The apartment is in a great location: the vibrant heart of the city near the Louvre, the Metro and good restaurants.The flat itself is very well designed providing privacy for two couples. The furnishings are eclectic and fun. There are many personal items, photos and collectibles etc, which take some getting used to. Some might say clutteredThe kitchen is thoroughly modern and very well equipped with dishes and cookware.In the spirit of constructive suggestions we have a few:The 3 step stairway between the dining and living level needs a hand rail and banister. There is a real possibility of falling onto a glass dining table.More towels are needed. We were provided one bath towel and one hand towel per person for a five day stay. We requested more towels and received no response.When we booked the apartment the description indicated two queen size beds. In the pictures they did not look large enough to be queen size. We asked for clarification which we did not receive. Upon arrival it was obvious they are double size beds, not queen size. The description needs to be corrected.This is our first VRBO experience in some time. The initial pricing indicated it would be about 600 per night. When cleaning fees, owner fees (what is that about ?) and taxes and miscellaneous it was almost a third more.The need for clarifications (and the addition of a stair rail) will make this good spot a great one.

Beautiful two bedroom apartment just steps from the Louvre. Terrific quiet neighborhood with tons of dining options. Nice kitchen and lovely artwork, books and furnishings. Check in took a little extra time, but it’s Paris and patience is always a good idea. The host sent a wonderful Paris “to do” list with especially great restaurants recommended. Highly recommend for adults!

Wonderful location

We had a brief, but wonderful stay in Paris. This apartment is in a perfect location for seeing the sights. The neighborhood is lovely and we met some great people that will soon be visiting us in the states. The apartment is comfortable and the shower in the master is outstanding. Recommend highly for anyone looking for a true 'Paris experience'

Lovely Apartmen near Lourve!

We were incredibly pleased with our stay in Paris and can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this apartment! It's well-appointed with all the amenities you need for your comfort and entertainment. The decor is charming and includes unique art pieces, setting the mood for your Parisian holiday. The location is fantastic! Just a 5-7 minute walk to Chatelet Les Halles station and 10 minute walk to the Lourve! There are many delicious cafes nearby as well. I highly recommend a stay at this locale. Thank you Lisa & Brigette!

Comfort in Paris

Lovely apartment in the heart of Paris, close to the Louvre, restored Samaritane department store, lots of bistros, restaurants, shops and the les Halles park. The only thing that was less than perfect was the a/c, which consisted of a single unit in the living area, nothing but a portable fan in the bedrooms. Fortunately, the outside temperature each day was moderate. I suppose that it can be forgiven, due to the rest of the apartment's amenities. Overall, a real home to come back to after a day of exploring Paris.

Can't ask for a better apartment, in a beautiful famous street next to the Louve and all the great attractions. The apartment is exactly as described, the host was amazing, punctual and very friendly. Met us at the apartment was in constant communication with us. You can't go wrong with this apartment.

The property is very well located, only a short walk from the Louvre. It was easy to access the subway and the hop-on, hop-off bus. There were several excellent cafes and a great bakery almost right outside the door. A supermarket around the corner made it very easy to pick up a few things and the kitchen is well equipped should you want to eat in. There was some construction going on in the hallways and perhaps in another apartment in the building but it didn't disturb us at all. The apartment was very clean and Patricia, with whom I communicated before arriving and who met us at the door, was excellent o work with and returned all my texts immediately. The two of us each had a separate bedroom and bathroom. It might not be particularly comfortable for two couples who are used to queen size or king size beds but it you're comfortable sharing a double, this apartment would also work for two couples.
