Fantastic location and wonderful host. Not easy to find, but that’s the point! A few blocks from the Arc de Triomphe and the Charles DeGaulle Étoile Metro, getting you everywhere you would want to go. A very safe rental as it is nestled behind a somewhat nondescript door that leads to other apartments. Several supermarkets in the neighborhood, as well as some good restaurants that are very affordable. Kitchen has a washer and dryer, huge refrigerator, dishwasher, and all of the kitchenware you might need. The rooms are spacious and were perfect for our group of 6. Mini splits are in each bedroom in case you get warm or cold. Special “thank you” to Mickael who met us when we arrived and gave us an overview of the rental and neighborhood. Stay here. You will not regret it!

The house is in fact hidden from the street which provides a very quiet stay despite the entrance on a busy street, Avenue de Wagram, just a quick two minute walk from the Arch de Triomphe!There were three adult couples, all in our sixties. The house provided plenty of space for privacy and also for gatherings.Michael was beyond compare in welcoming us to the “Secret House”, explaining all of the amenities in great detail as well as sharing his vast experience of Paris, offering many suggestion for the neighborhood and all around Paris.If we’re ever to visit Paris in the future, we would say at the “Secret House” again without hesitation.

This property is clean, quiet and very convenient. The neighborhood seemed pretty safe, but like any big city, keep your eyes open. I highly recommend this property to families that need space to spread out. Things to know… there are many stairs. There is a suite on the main level, but the other 3 rooms are either upstairs or in the basement… just something to be aware of if you have mobility issues. If we are able to go back to Paris, we would absolutely stay there again.

Great location and nice space

We really enjoyed our stay here. There was ample room for two families, the AC's worked well, and it was a nice space to have in the heart of Paris. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a Taxi stand.

Right Where You Want to Be

It was always impressive to walk out the secret passage onto the street and see the Arc de Triomphe with the Eiffel Tower beside it. The Charles de Gaulle Etoile was a great station to get anywhere we wanted to go including Disneyland Paris and the CDG airport and all the Paris sites inbetween. 5 days was not enough time! We loved exploring nearby and far away. When we were ready to rest or gather, the house provided a large space to gather around the table and private bedrooms to rest and get away. We especially loved that there was air conditioning as this end of June stay was very hot!! Yohanne was very responsive and kind. We would love to stay there again. Paul, Penny and Family

Perfect!

The secret house is truly a secret in the heart of Paris. The location was a very short walk to the metro, the Arc De triumph and the Champs Elysees. It was very private, quiet and peaceful. This house easily accommodated all 9 of us, me, my two adult children, their spouses and 4 grandchildren. I wish we had more time to spend in the secret house and I hope to return there someday.

Our stay at the “Secret House” was perfect. All four women (age 60) gave it high marks for its close proximity to the Arc de Triomphe and Rue Poncelet (open-air market). Despite its proximity to the busy Champs-Élysée, it was quiet and we felt completely safe. The spacious four-bedroom house was very clean. The washer/dryer was a nice feature and the air conditioning worked great. The owner’s communication throughout the process was excellent. The property manager was at the house when we arrived. He gave us a tour of the property & provided a comprehensive overview of the home’s features. The maid met us 10 minutes before checkout to offer her assistance, if needed. The only drawback was the stairs, if you have mobility issues. The 3 levels were not a problem for us. We’d highly recommend this Vrbo and would stay here again next time we’re in Paris.

Great family home in a wonderful location

This property worked very well for our family group— two grandparents traveling with seven grandchildren (one 11 year old and six between 14 and 16). Located a couple of blocks from the Arc de Triomphe and a convenient Metro station, it was so easy to get around town to visit the major sites of interest. A pool table in the lower level provided a fun activity for evenings and down time— perfect for teenagers and their fun-loving grandfather. We were greeted by the very kind property manager who took a great pains to be sure we were comfortably settled and had all we needed for our stay. This proved to be an excellent home base for us to make memories with our grandchildren and for the cousins to enjoy each other’s company while living a bit like Parisians.

I really don’t want to give away the “Secret”

I really don’t want to write this review because I’m afraid once the word gets out it will be hard to book here again! What a great stay we had! There were 6 of us in our girls trip and we all agreed this Vrbo was fantastic!!!The location was perfect and walking distance to everything. Layout easily accommodated 6 women and loved having the washer and dryer as the airline delayed our luggage. Kitchen was well stocked for us and we had no problems getting extra linens when we needed them. The apartment was clean, in fact, I wish I knew the detergent the towels were washed in…they smelled so good! Lastly, Check in and check out was a breeze even though our flight changed our meeting time.Before I booked, I did read the reviews and did have a few concerns. I am as picky as it comes when booking vacations. My worries were a waste as I will tell you I was very happy here. If fact, I enjoyed our accommodations so much that I’m working on bringing family here next year!

Great Location

This is a great location and very quiet. It was also clean. Check in was easy but it took a little time to go through everything. The only down side of the place is there are a lot of stairs which is a disadvantage with a toddler.

A hidden gem

We had a wonderful stay at the Secret House. The house was very spacious and able to accommodate our large group of 7. And despite its location in a busy location, the house was very quiet and safe. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The checkin process was easy and helpful. Yohann was very receptive to our questions and prompt in his response. I highly recommend this location and would gladly stay here again.

Amazing house in center of Paris

Stayed here with my 13-year old daughters, husband and my parents. More than enough room, beautiful little house tucked off a great street near the metro and Arc du Triomph. Loved it!

SECRET HOUSE IS GREAT!

This location is fantastic and ideal for three couples or for a family with kids. We were three couples and enjoyed the privacy of each bedroom/bath. The apartment is well appointed and very clean. We will use this location in the future when we travel with friends to Paris.

Amazing property

This property suited our family's needs perfectly. There were 9 of us, and 5 rather loud and roudy teenagers. We could send them downstairs to play pool and/or watch TV while we stayed upstairs or on the front patio to enjoy each other's company. The 3 floors allowed for a lot of separation from each other on our trip. The pool table was a nice add to give the kids a non-screen activity

A bit unusual but excellent place to stay

Nine of us, including three kids 5-10). We arrived, and three of the adults went in with the owners agent, who explained everything perfectly well and got us settled. The place, less than three blocks north of the Arc de Triomphe, at first struck us as strange: three floors, each with bedrooms. TV and a pool table in basement, with two bedrooms and bath. Room on the main floor perhaps was the best. All were fine, with good beds. The kitchen was adequate for breakfasts (we ate out for dinners and lunches); one could cook there, moderately. It turned out to be a superb place. The kids could play pool or watch TV, with or without the adults. The main ground floor room (sort of a dining room) was perfect for breakfasts and for planning the day's events. Our doubts and hesitations proved absolutely unnecessary. We loved the place. Only two tiny negatives. The pool table seems to have a wood rather than slate surface, and it isn't exactly level. Balls would roll downhill times. But who cares when the kids are having fun. The other issue was the bareness of the cupboards. Dishes and glasses and silverware were first rate and plentiful, but we had to go out and buy salt, pepper, and a few other items. Not a big deal. So, overall, we loved the place; great location; super clean; comfortable beds; and PLENT of room. For a group, this was as good as it gets in Paris.

Perfect place in Paris!

Great property in a quiet location. Well equipped with everything you need during your stay. Grocery store near by so you can stock up and make your own meals or explore the beautiful city and eat at the local eateries. Perfect location for shopping and exploring the city to see the sites. We absolutely loved our stay. Would definitely stay again.
