nice apartment but unfortunately with an animal roommate
The apartment is very nicely furnished and is in a great location. Due to the rail strike in Germany, we had to spontaneously arrive earlier, which was not a problem. the entire communication with the landlords was flawless and very fast! However, on the third day we found ouf that a mouse lives in the apartment. apparently she lives behind the kitchen, which led to unpleasant smells there. on the following evenings we saw it regularly and heard it squeaking throughout the night. we had hoped that this inconvenience would get us a price reduction. unfortunately that was not the case. It's a shame, because with the mouse we can't recommend the apartment unreservedly...

Bonjour. Désolé pour cet incident. Nous avons fait intervenir un professionnel dans notre appartement et dans tout l’immeuble qui a fait le nécessaire. Tout est rentré dans l’ordre depuis. Belle journée.

Great space in nice neighborhood in Paris
The suite itself was great, comfortable, a good size for two people for a short stay. Had everything we needed. It was a little noisy outside with bars/cafes open late but this is expected for a city.

Far from Ideal
Not sure why so highly rated. Residents of apartment above VRBO returned after 2 months. Disaster, as can hear every footstep, even with earplugs. They stayed up till 2-3am on multiple nights. I had to go on two occasions to tell them to quiet down. I told VRBO owner of issues, and said they’d talk to strata/HOA. How about owner talking directly to residents rather than me? This apartment is one floor above ground level, and three bar/restaurants just below. With windows open, significant noise from these bars till midnight. Do not rent this VRBO if you need a comfortable temperature in the summer. No air conditioning. VRBO owner provided a weak fan, and I told the owner it was insufficient. If windows open - lots of noise from bars. Do you think they would put effort to provide better/more fans? Building is tired. Common areas have exposed plaster, loose handrail, cracked flooring and several slanted stairs (no elevator). Apartment was dusty and needs a thorough deep clean. Wouldn’t use any pots/pans/crockery without cleaning them first - fruit flies everywhere with windows open. Not a cocoon but a cacophony. Not recommended.

Monsieur. Je prends connaissance de votre commentaire mensonger et agressif. Tout cela parceque vous avez vécu une semaine très chaude à Paris. Je voulais juste vous redire si vous ne l’avez pas compris que lorsque nous louons notre appartement,nous ne sommes pas responsables de la météo. Nous sommes hôte premium et avons une centaine d’avis tous aussi sympa les uns que les autres. Pensez-vous réellement que les voyageurs ayant connu notre petit cocoon sont des menteurs……? Je vous laisse seul juge et responsable de vos propos. Quand à l’état dans lequel vous nous avez rendu notre appartement….je n’ose même pas en parler. Bonne continuation très Cher.

Nice and Cozy in a great location
I loved my stay here. The apartment was clean, cozy and incredibly well put together. The location is perfect, close to the metro, grocery store and some great restaurants. Houdini was a perfect host and very responsive. I would highly recommend it and would certainly stay there again

Excellent location for roaming Paris
The place is very nice and has everything you need for either a short or extended stay. Some days we brought back ingredients from markets only a few steps away, and made our own meals with additions of things leftover by previous tenets and the kitchen had ample tools to make food at home, including a microwave, stove, oven, toaster, and several pots, pans, colanders, mixing bowls, dishes, silverware, and cutlery. So, you don't have to rely on eating out if you want to save a little money. The location is bustling during the day with cafés, restaurants, and markets featuring cuisine and items from all over the world. It's not a fancy place, but that's a reason my friend and I liked it. And because it's also a really good place to take the metro from to many places in the city. I was in the middle of my list of places to go with excellent transportation in all directions. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this place to others. Cheers! Todd

Mäuse in der Küche
Als wir am ersten Tag eintrafen war direkt neben der Türe eine Mausefalle mit einer toten Maus darin. Ich habe diese dann entsorgt und wir haben die Wohnung gelüftet um den Gestank heraus zu bekommen. Ich habe gedacht die Sache sei damit erledigt. Jedoch haben wir dann in der Nacht Mäuse unter der Küche gehört und gesehen. Der Gestank wurde auch immer stärker so dass wir es nicht mehr ertragen konnten. Wir haben 10 Nächte gebucht, sind aber nach der 4. Nacht gegangen. Ich habe mit dem Vermieter abgemacht das wir die 6 übrigen Nächte zurück erstattet bekommen (handelt sich um 540,00€ Euro). Jedoch habe ich das Geld nie erhalten und jeglicher Kontaktversuch war erfolglos. Ich habe auch mit dem Vrbo Support Kontakt aufgenommen, sie haben dann auch versucht den Vermieter zu erreichen, ohne Erfolg. Nun mache ich deswegen eine schlechte Bewertung. Paris ist aber trotz den Mäusen eine sehr schöne Stadt.

J’ai signalé cet imposteur auprès d’abritée. Après vérification et appel à un professionnel il s’avère qu’il n’y à jamais eu de souris dans l’appartement. Vous vouliez juste un remboursement que je vous ai normalement refusé . Voyageur à éviter sérieusement.

Leider konnten wir die Wohnung erst um 18 Uhr statt um 16 Uhr beziehen. Ansonsten super schöne Wohnung, extrem zentral mit hervorragendem Bäcker in der Nähe. Parkhaus am Hospital absolut zu empfehlen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Cute apartment in the 10e
I enjoyed staying at this apartment! It is the perfect size for one person (or two). The kitchen was well appointed and there’s a washing machine that I used once! The only issue was noise from the bistro across the corner. It stays open until 02:00 and it was always busy and loud. Some nights patrons lingered around outside until 03:30. It was hot in Paris when I was there and I had to have the bedroom window open with the shutters closed to get air. Even the sound of the fan didn’t cover the noise.

Tolle Unterkunft in einer Toplage. Nette Restaurants,Bistros und Bars in der Nähe, Metro 2-3 Gehminuten entfernt Der Kontakt mit Houcine war jederzeit sehr angenehm. Absolut empfehlenswert. Für Autofahrer: kostenfreie Parkplätze quasi, wie überall in Paris, nicht vorhanden. Parkhaus in der Nähe mit 20 €/Tag vergleichsweise günstig

The condo is very nice. Lots of room, good location Close to metro lines Big concern is the door! The igloohome was tricky to open. The door was very very very hard to open. We did communicate with owner. His daughter came to help. It took 2 of us to open the door everytime. One of us pulled out on the door the other used the key to open. We enjoyed Paris but the door was a concern

Merci de votre retour. Après votre passage la porte a été changé. Désolé pour le désagrément. Mais je pense que ce petit soucis n’a été qu’un détail par rapport à l’état de saleté que vous nous avez laissé dans notre appartement. Poubelles non jetées. Vaisselle degueulasse dans la cuisine. Nourriture dans le lit. J’espère vraiment ne plus vous recevoir. Bien à vous.

Eine sehr schöne, kleine Wohnung die alles bietet was man braucht. Leider haben wir die Waschmaschine nicht zum laufen gebracht, da wir der Meinung sind, es sei kein Strom drauf. Andererseits wollte ich mit der Maschine aus hygienischen Gründen auch nicht mehr waschen (geschlossene Waschmittelschublade mit Stockflecken). Ansonsten war die Wohnung klein aber sehr fein mit sehr guter Anbindung an die Metro und guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einem grandiosen Bäcker in der Nähe. Bei einem nächsten Paristrip würden wir die Wohnung gerne wieder mieten.

Great stay in Paris
We had a comfortable stay at the apartment in the hospital St. Louis neighborhood. It was close to the metro and we managed to walk to most of The major landmarks! It was very clean and the check in and out process was easy. There is an excellent bistro just across the street- a must try!

good stay with minor issues
My girlfriend and I had a great time at the apartment, it was close to the metro and walkable distance to stores and cafes. The place was clean, and host checked up on how we were doing during the stay. The wifi worked great and we were able to access streaming services on the TV. We had a few issues but they were minor, improving on those items could help the property earn 5 stars: 1. the apartment is right above 1 bistro, and across the street from another bistro. Parisians like to stay up late, so if you're a light sleeper, the noise could be an issue. The windows have good noise insulation, but closing them would have made the apartment stuffy and we wouldn't have been able to enjoy the fresh air. We walked all day, so we were too tired to care and the noise wasn't too much of an issue. 2. The kitchen was fully loaded with glasses, plates, and condiments, but no silverware. It must have been overlooked, but again it was minor issue, we managed to do without. 3. The washer/dryer combo machine gave us some trouble. Washing our clothes was no problem, but some wording for the drying section was rubbed off, making it difficult to work it. Fortunately, I found the manual in the closet and was able to understand it. I think it would be helpful to write clear instructions for renters who don't understand French. On the last day we used the laundromat across the street since the machines were bigger and dried our clothes faster. In all, we had a pleasant time.

It’s a cozy small and very well done apartment,we’ve got absolutely everything we could possibly need.Super clean as well. Gorgeous bed-slept like babies! Gut gelegene und ausgestattete Wohnung nahe des Hospital St. Louis
Gut gelegene Wohnung (nur 3 Metro-Stationen von Gare Est, Metro Station in 3 Laufminuten) in sympathischem Wohngebiet, 2 Zimmer (Wohn-/Esszimmer mit Küchenzeile sowie Schlafzimmer), gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet). Kurzer Weg zur Einkaufsstraße Rue Fauboug du Temple, viel Gastronomie in der näheren Umgebung, guter Kontakt zum Vermieter. Die Wohnung eignet sich gut für Paare oder Einzelreisende. Wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen und würden sie wieder buchen. Noch zwei Restaurantempfehlungen in der Nähe: La Marine und L Angelus du Canal.

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans l'appartement. Tout était conforme à l'annonce et tout s'est bien passé. Nous avons eu posé plusieurs questions (parfois un peu bête) à l'hôte à l'arrivée et il a toujours répondu très rapidement. Je conseille l'appartement pour un couple ou 2 amis/collègues de travail.

Was exactly as expected
Place was clean and well kept. It was slightly loud at times due to the proximity it is to a couple bars but that was only one day out of 5 we stayed. It's slightly away from all the tourist locations bit it is not far away and good to get away from the hustle and bustle. Internet was suuuuper fast. Only thing to keep in mind is that you need to climb up stairs.

Perfect spot
I would stay here again and again. It was perfect! In a great neighborhood walking distance to restaurants, bars, markets, etc. Everything was great. The lock on the door took time to get used to but once we did, it was fine.

The apartment is very comfortable, bright, and well-furnished. The furniture makes maximum use of the space, such as a kitchen table that folds out. The bed is very comfortable. The bedroom has black-out blinds. The kitchen has everything needed, from pots and pans to spices. Communication with the host is great.

L'appartement est bien équipé et assez spacieux pour 2 personnes. Il est situé à proximité du métro ce qui est pratique pour partir explorer la capitale, et il y a ce qu'il faut a proximité directe du logement (pharmacie, magasins alimentaires, restaurants, laverie, etc...). Les instructions pour entrer dans l'appartement étaient claires et précises. Je recommande ce logement !

everything you need in the lively heart of Paris
Up two flights of stairs you'll find a tiny modern clean apartment for one or two people who really like each other. The host thoughtfully provided bread butter and toast so we'd have something to eat on that first morning. Houcine responds quickly to any question or issue. Windows provide plenty sun and overlook a lively street so you'll always know you're right in the heart of Paris.

This one-bedroom is fully furnished and stocked with practically everything — more than many vacation rentals. Laundry, fridge, microwave, toaster, tabletop oven, cooktop, Nespresso machine, dishes, cutlery, cleaning supplies, fan, ironing board, various condiments, desk, storage, couch, bed, dining table. Plus nicely decorated. As if someone really lives there and shares what they have. The host was communicative and easy to interact with. The neighborhood is not busy in terms of traffic, has many dining options nearby, is close to the metro, and within a half hour walk of Belleville Chinatown, Parc des Buttes Chaumont, Gare de l’Est, République, Oberkampf, and (if you walk fast) rue des Archives. The Canal St Martin is even closer, with its footpath and outdoor exercise equipment. The immediate area is multiethnic yet still French. The only issue can be the noise at night. There’s a club downstairs, and a bar and restaurant across the street, so music and the noise of happy people talking starts around 7pm and ends around midnight. When closed, the windows cut down the noise significantly, but in the summer the apartment gets hot and stuffy unless the windows are open — then the noise can keep you awake.

Gemütliche Wohnung abseits der Touri-Massen
Saubere, kleine gemütliche und gut ausgestattete Wohnung, in der man sich wohlfühlt! Gute Lage (als Frau muss man keine Angst haben, alleine durch die Gegend zu laufen abends). Nicht in der typischen Touri-Gegend und super zum Ausgehen! Gute Restaurants und Bars direkt um die Ecke. Wir haben ein schönes langes Wochenende in der Wohnung verbracht und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Kommunikation mit den Gastgeber total einfach und sehr angenehm!
