Our hostess could not have been better. She even offered ( offer accepted) to have a package delivered to her and she brought it to us at the apartment because the apartment building had no "guardien" onsite to accept deliveries.

C'est Magnifique!

I can't say enough about this beautiful, historic location. Every day was full of wonderment imagining what it might be like to step back in time. Place Dauphine has its own place in French history as does many of it's occupants even in contemporary times. The location is conveniently in the 1st Arrondissement of Paris, and walking distance to so many sites. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who loves history and respects the beauty that has been maintained in such a loving way.

True European Experience

We loved Place Dauphine’s location! Very spacious and comfortable with beautiful European decor. The stairs were not an issue for us and there was a small elevator to help with transport of luggage. Close to shops and restaurants and walking distance to attractions.

Wonderful accommodation In wonderful Location

A wonderful property with plenty of room and everything we needed. Would have easily accommodated an additional couple of people, but we left then on the other side of the Atlantic. The property is on the 3rd and 4th floors (that’s fourth and fifth for the Americans), but there is an elevator. The elevator is very small and still requires you to go up stairs to get to the elevator and a few when you get off so something to keep in mind if you have significant mobility issues). Overall WONDERFUL!

Absolutely Wonderful!

This is a beautiful apartment in an amazing location within walking distance of many major sites and an easy Uber away from others. It has all the comforts- AC, full size refrigerator, washer/dryer, and full size oven and stove top, which can be hard to come by in Paris apartments. Highly recommend and agree with all the five star reviews. I already miss it!

A Paris Oasis

This the second time we have stayed in this apartment . The apartment is delightful with good access to the main features of Paris. It is great to be able to look out on the trees of Place Dauphine and enjoy the sounds of the games of petanque being played. My husband is getting quite good at it. Communications with the owner /manager were excellent and we look forward to possibly staying there in the future.

Magnificent Paris Apartment

Perfect Paris Apartment! I cannot thank Mia enough for allowing us to stay in her wonderful home. She was the perfect host, communicating everything and went above and beyond when our daughter became sick and needed a physician visit. The unit is spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless and has a beautiful view of Place Dauphine. There is air-conditioning which works very well for hot days. There is a clean modern elevator. The area is almost in the middle of Paris and you can walk everywhere. Beds are very comfortable. I hope we will be able to stay again soon. Do not hesitate to book this amazing property!

Wonderful

I rarely give 5 stars but this location earned every single one. Location is incredible, in the heart of the city but still so quiet and away from the chaos. We walked many places and uber was easy enough to take, although we did have to help with directions. Apartment is well stocked with cleaning items, soap, so many towels, furniture, etc. We would definitely stay here again. My 10 year old daughter loved the decor. Kitchen is small but completely functional. The closet in the master bedroom was a bit small, we had been traveling for a month so had many things but it worked out well. Very charming, clean and wonderful views.

Amazing air-conditioned, luxury two-bedroom apartment in the heart of it all on Il de la cite. Place Dauphine is lovely with several nice restaurants and cafes. Owner is lovely and very responsive. 5 stars for this place. It’s worth it.

Fabulous!

Location was amazing. Apartment was well appointed and even nicer than photos. Enjoyed the nearby restaurants and ability to walk to the Louvre and shopping. The host, Mia, was highly professional, responsive, reliable and kind. My child unfortunately got very sick and the host was incredibly helpful in managing the situation. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

Wonderful flat in a fantastic location.

Like other reviewers, we found this flat to be everything advertised. It is beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything one might need. The beds are very comfortable as was the furniture in the living room. There are lots of huge windows looking out toward Place Dauphine, which is a very lively square with numerous restaurants, bars and frequent games of pétanque. But closed to traffic except taxis so no street noise. The location is possibly the best in Paris; right on the Il de La Cite so you are close to everything with many top locations walkable. And it was really fun to come and go on such a lively square, where we ate several times. There are a lot of stairs, but a small elevator (amazing to have this in such an old, historic building!) alleviates most of them and my wife and I (both 75) navigated the access successfully. A half bath on the main level helps and you can take the elevator right up to the floor containing the bedrooms. We were a group of 4 adults (2 couples) and there is plenty of room. All in all, highly recommended! PS. The flat is fully air conditioned but we did not have to use it as we managed to visit Paris in between heat waves. We are currently in Normandy where it is over 100 degrees!

The property location is very good. We chose this place, and stated to the owner before we selected it, that we need two bedrooms with separate bathrooms. Mia, the owner, said this is a perfect fit. The first time we tried to take a shower in the second bathroom, the cold water did not work and it was scalding hot. Mia cold not get it fixed during our stay. Also, there was a leak in the lower floor toilet and it cause the breaker to go off and stay dark. We ended up having to shower in our friends bedroom bath. We understand this is out of anybody's control. Since we could not fully use all the facilities, we asked for compensation since we picked the place and paid top dollar for two bathrooms that were independent for two adult couples. Mia offer 15% on a future visit. We asked for 10% cash now since we will likely not be back in France anytime soon. She refused. At the same time the square the property in located in was shut down completely the to car traffic the day we were to check out. There had been a previous police shooting that was being investigated and they locked us in. Instead of being able to leave at 8AM, our wives sit in the apartment until noon while me and my friend dealt with the car rental and logistics of the vehicle lockdown so we could leave. The plumbers came in while our wives sit in the living room. The were able to walk in with their tools. They finished the repair on the shower and left before noon. Our wives were not in their way. It was over 90 degrees outside and very humid. Because our wives sit in the living room, Mia said we checked out late and would not give us any compensation for the bathroom. The closure was completely out of our control and our wives were not in the way of the plumbers. No cleaning crew could get in due to the lockdown. We feel we paid top dollar, did not get what we paid for, and the response was not what we'd expect from a quality owner.

perfect location, fantastic apartment

My family and I stayed here for a week--and this is the perfect location in central Paris. You are literally on an island in the river--head to the right and you are in the Marais. Head to the left and you are in the left bank. There are terrific restaurants and historic sites within minutes of the apartment. There are kids who hang out in the plaza to drink or play boules, but they quiet down by 10 pm or so, and the windows are really great for blocking out noise. The apartment is beautiful, 3 bathrooms, two bedrooms a nice kitchen with a nescafe maker and pods provided. We highly recommend this apartment! Be aware that you need to walk up several flights of stairs to get to it, so I do not recommend for elderly people, but it was great for us!

Quick Paris Getaway

Two couples traveled to Paris for a quick weekend getaway! This property was FANTASTIQUE!!! Two bedrooms with private baths upstairs and gorgeous living space on the main floor with a modern kitchen. The view of the Place Dauphine from all of the windows was extraordinary. We felt safe and welcome in this little neighborhood square with the local restaurants and shops. Loved walking to l'ile st. Louis for ice cream, our favorite. Mia was a gracious hostess and made the entire transaction easy. 5 stars all around!!
