Fantastic apartment in Paris. We come to Paris often, so really enjoyed being in a neighborhood that wasn't touristy. We could get to the touristy areas easily, but chose to stay in this area since we've already done the touristy stuff. Fantastic area. Great restaurants very close. A few markets close, too, if you want to stay in, which we did one night after walking the neighborhood all day.Apartment is clean and comfortable with everything you need, including a cute balcony. We would stay here again. Catherine is great!

Emplacement idéal et quartier très agréable. Hôte très sympathique. On peut voir la tour effeil scintiller du balcon! Par contre l’appartement a besoin d’un grand ménage: odeur de renfermé persistante, plusieurs coulisses de saleté dans cuisine et SdB. J’ai dû nettoyer le Frigo avant d’y mettre ma nourriture et le tapis de la chambre à coucher devrait être retiré. Un petit plus serait de fournir un séchoir à vêtements surtout pour un séjour de plusieurs jours.

Leider war die Wohnung sehr schmutzig und abgewohnt.Wir haben schon sehr viele Wohnungen gemietet, aber so etwas haben wir noch nie gesehen.Due Toilette war dermaßen schmutzig und ekelerregend, dass wir als erstes Putzhandschuhe kaufen mussten und die Toilette 2x putzen mussten.Dieser Zustand ist innakzeptabel.Wir haben uns sofort beim Vermieter beschwert, aber erhielten keine Antwort.Die Wohnung wäre eigentlich süß und ist in einer ruhigen Gegend, aber Sauberkeit ist nicht verhandelbar.

Perfect spot for the once in a lifetime trip!

Catherine was the perfect host. Met us upon arrival to show us the apartment and provide keys. Easy to communicate with. The apartment is even better in person! Spacious bedroom and living room. Both the bed and the sleeper sofa are comfortable for the entire week stay. We enjoyed meals on the balcony to take in the view both day and night. Seeing the Eiffel Tower lit up at night is amazing! Convenient to local grocery and cafes. Quick walk to the Arc de Triomphe and metro. Highly recommend!

Lovely Parisian Apartment

This is a quintessential Parisian apartment. Close to multiple metro stations and with literally dozens of restaurants in a 10-minute walk, it's conveniently located. Arc de Triomphe is a 15-minute walk. Great communication with our host Catherine. Lots of little amenities in the apartment. The elevator is very small, so beware of that, but it beats walking up 7 flights of stairs. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Paris during the demonstrations

The owner of property was friendly and prompt when meeting me to exchange keys and go over the property. The security of building is very good and as a solo traveler that’s very important to me. This is a residential area a short metro ride from the prime tourists areas with lots of restaurants and grocery store within walking distance . From the balcony you can see the Eiffel Tower in the distance as well as the top of the Arc d’triomphe at night. What made this location especially good during the demonstrations is that you are equal distance between metro lines. Which was really important since one of lines had many stops closed at night because of the demonstrations. I never felt unsafe or in danger because of demonstrations just inconvenience by the metro closures. Also to note there is a lot of construction in the area I believe getting ready for the Olympiques but it was never really problem. The apartment is very well equipped and had everything you would need to cook and dine in . What was especially helpful was the sturdy umbrella. My travel umbrella was just too flimsy to handle the wind. The bed is extremely comfortable and apartment is very good size for a Paris apartment. I would recommend this apartment and location if you dont mind a short Metro ride to Louvre and Eiffel Tower. It was exactly what I was looking for in Paris. Merci bien,

Great Apartment!

The apartment was excellent and had all the amenities we needed, including dishwasher and clothes washing machine. The air conditioner in the bedroom was a life saver and the balcony even had a bit of a view! The VRBO pictures and descriptions were completely accurate. We would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a lovely stay in a nice safe neighbourhood. Thank you, Catherine, for making our holiday so wonderful!

The apartment is excellent. We are in 4 people. Very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need to cook if you want to. There are few supermarkets on the nearby. Plenty of restaurants available at walking distance. The Metro/RER is at 10 min walking.

Excellent stay.Very practical flat with welcoming real people.

_All appliances worked. Very comfy king bed. _Flat actually close to many tourist sights. Perfect also even just to stroll at random (eg. next door to 16th district). Ideal whether visiting for culture, shopping or just to stroll around and take in the sights. _Near metro stations: practical Porte de Champerret (easier when arriving by Eurostar/Gare du nord ; and its Line 3 is direct to for examples Palais Garnier (Opéra) or Père Lachaise etc. etc.) _Close to metro Porte Maillot (direct from Gare de Lyon, line 1 with stops for all major tourist sites). _Walking distance to, for examples, Foundation Louis Vuitton, Arc de Triomphe and Cirque Romanes etc. etc. _Great View from terrace on Arc de Triomphe and typical Parisian Flats _to top it all, welcomed by a well-mannered and informed couple with high standards of proper behavior.

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé 3 semaines dans un appartement clair, chaleureux, très ensoleillé avec un grand balcon et une vue sur les toits de Paris et la tour Eiffel. L'immeuble calme et sécurisé est proche de plusieurs commerces. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et avenants. L'avenue des Ternes avec ses boutiques, ses brasseries ainsi que le palais des congrès sont à proximité, de même la porte Maillot, la place Champerret et Peirere (métro, RER). La présence d'un chantier dans le quartier (résidentiel) n'a pas été source de nuisance puisque l'appartement est insonorisé. Seuls petits manques : un autre fauteuil dans le séjour, une bouilloire plus grande et un fer à repasser. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Comfortable, great location, good views, air conditioning

The owners greeted us and showed us around the apartment and how things worked - everything we needed to know. Their English was very good and they were able to explain things well. The apartment has a nice layout and air conditioning in the bedroom. Lots of restaurants and small convenience stores are close by with larger markets just a short distance. We walked all over Paris. The Arc de Triomphe is an easy walk. The Eiffel Tower is a bit further but still walkable. Both are viewable from the balcony. We walked to both as well as to Sacre Coeur, the Latin Quarter and the Louvre . There was a record heat wave while we were visiting. The balcony is hot with the sun in the morning, but nice for night time meals/ drinks. The elevator is small and intimate, but nice to have after walking all over Paris. Always good for a kiss with the right person. Our take out pizza box had to be held above our heads to fit with us! We would definitely come back.
