Die Wohnung war super sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr ruhig.Sie liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Straße, die mit einem Tor gesichert ist und wir unser Auto ohne Bedenken parken konnten!Also wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt, Paris genossen und kommen gerne wieder!!

There is a lot to like in this little row house. It is airconditioned, which remains rare in Paris-- that alone would be enough for gratitude during heat waves.Martine is a generous host; she is flexible with arrival & departure when possible, left welcoming treats, & had recommendations for the local bakeries, cafés, etc.; her neighbor checked us in & gave us a tour of the neighborhood. The house is beautifully decorated & equipped with thoughtful touches, washing machine, drying rack, bags for toting groceries, etc. Good bed & comfortable chairs. Kitchen is tight, but well-organized.If this is your first time in Paris, a more central location might be more atmospheric; otherwise, , this is well positioned, with a metro and bus connections to almost anywhere in the city. There is a good open-air market twice a week around the corner.The one caveat is the organization. It is on 3 stories; the main living area on the ground floor; the bedroom & only bathroom on the 1st floor (2nd American style) and a 3rd basement level room with a convertible sofa-bed. Getting to the toilet from the lower room requires negotiating 2 sets of steepish stairs & going past the bed of those sleeping upstairs. It is thus great for one person or a couple (as long as no one has mobility issues) & likely to work well for close friends/family, but not ideal for someone else who needs to get up a lot. But as long as you know that, it is a lovely place to stay!

Wonderful and memorable stay

We stayed for one week with our family of four. The place is just as advertised: a well supplied and decorated home away from home. The check in process was warm and efficient. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, with easy access to the Metro and RER. Wonderful bakeries and restaurants are within walking distance. There is a wonderful neighbourhood market twice weekly. The host was quick to respond with personalized assistance, Overall a quiet retreat at the end of multiple busy days. Thank you Martine for making our first visit to Paris very memorable!

Week in Paris

The lovely house in Nation was perfect for a week in Paris. The house is very nicely furnished with all equipment needed. Location is great as it’s close to metro and RER station. The street has parking and has secure gates at each end. Great all round!

Perfekter Stützpunkt für Paris

Das Apartment hat die perfekte Lage um Paris zu erkunden. Es liegt ruhig in einer Privatstraße, trotzdem ist die Metro in sämtliche Himmelsrichtungen in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war äußerst nett und unproblematisch. Auch der Check-Inn und Check-Out verlief reibungslos. Vielen Dank für den netten Aufenthalt.

Petite maison fonctionnelle et de bon goût, bien située

Nous avions loué cette petite maison à deux pour deux semaines et nous nous sommes sentis chez nous dès le début: tout était comme décrit sur le site Internet. L'aménagement et l'architecture sont de bon goût et en même temps fonctionnels et bien pensés. (En raison des escaliers, la maisonnette n'est toutefois pas recommandée aux jeunes enfants et aux personnes fragiles.) Tous les articles ménagers utiles étaient disponibles et de bonne qualité. Le contact avec la propriétaire était excellent, nous avons reçu une réponse immédiate à toutes nos demandes. L'emplacement de la petite maison dans une petite rue privée avec un parking devant la porte et tous les transports en col'aménagement et l'architecture sont de bon goût et en même temps fonctionnels et bien pensés. (En raison des escaliers, la maisonnette n'est toutefois pas recommandée aux jeunes enfants et aux personnes fragiles.) Tous les articles ménagers utiles étaient disponibles et de bonne qualité. Le contact avec la propriétaire était excellent, nous avons reçu une réponse immédiate à toutes nos demandes. L'emplacement de la petite maison dans une petite rue privée avec un parking devant la porte et tous les transports en commun (y compris VELIB) à deux minutes à pied de l'imposante Place de la Nation est idéal. Il y a également de nombreuses boulangeries, épiceries, brasseries et restaurants au coin de la rue. En bref: nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Perfect couple's Paris getaway

Great & clean little house. Well appointed. Very friendly and helpfull property manager. Perfect accommodations for a couple. Easy access to lots of brasseries or restaurants, shops, the metro, electric bicycles or even Uber. Loved it.

Beautiful place, great neighborhood

Very nice option to an apartment. This townhouse is multi-leveled which makes it perfect for adults traveling together as it provides three clearly distinct living areas. The neighborhood is safe and very well connected with four subway lines and one RER so easy to get anywhere in Paris. My only recommendation for those looking into booking is the stairs in the townhouse are a bit steep so likely not easy for people with limited mobility. Very recommendable. We had two lovely weeks at Martine's place!

Great location and perfect for two traveling friends.

Everything was great! The only issue was hot water. We ended up using a hot water kettle to keep the water warm. But I know this is a difference between America and Europe, and most certainly isn’t a reflection of this individual home. Everything about the rental was perfect and I would 100% stay there again in the fall, on my next trip.

Clean and comfortable

Our family enjoyed our stay at Martine’s rental property. The townhouse is well maintained and clean it very much lived up to our expectations based on the pictures provided. All of the essential appliances are available in the rental, which is definitely helpful when you want to do laundry or cook a meal. The location of the property is a mixed bag, on the one hand it is pretty far away(20-30+ min train ride) from major tourist attractions such as the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, but it is well connected with to the transit system multiple train lines and buses are a short walk away. The biggest issue we had was with the hot water tank, it is very small, and for a group of three we had to be very conservative with our shower times. All in all we felt like we got excellent value for the price we paid.

Spotless, Comfy and Convenient!

It's a beautiful miniature townhouse on a gated street, about a 2 block walk from a convenient Metro stop (Nation, with 1, 2, 6, and 9). Each room is on a separate floor with basement pull out sofa/bed and washer/dryer (which was the best we've ever had in Europe), ground floor LR and kitchen, and upstairs bedroom and bath. The bed was VERY comfortable and everything was in great shape. We were careful not to wear shoes in the house, the floors are lovely. There are slippers provided but we brought our own. It was very cold the week we stayed in Paris but the townhouse was toasty. My only warning is that stairs are winding/narrow so I would not recommend for young children or any kind of mobility issues. Thank you Martine, for a wonderful stay!

Schönes Haus mit Wohlfühlen-Effekt!

Wir waren eine Woche in Paris und 4 Personen, wenn man sich an die Platzverhältnisse gewöhnt hat, war es einfach wunderbar! Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett, das Haus hat eine tolle Lage und spiegelt den Pariser Flair zu 100% wieder.

Maison à 3 niveaux accueillant et très tranquile

La maison se trouve dans une rue privative très calme. Pas de souci pour garer votre voiture et à 3mn de Nation (RER-A; Métro 1, 2, 6, 9). Juste un changement facile à Châtelet avec le RER-B depuis Roissy-CDG Les produits de base (thé, café, Nespresso, huile, épices, trousse de premiers soins, etc.) sont abondants. Comme presque partout à Paris, tous les commerces et restos se trouvent à proximité et le marché dans la rue 2 fois par semaine. Très proche (10mn à pied) d'un Cinéma. Tout s'est bien passé car, la propriétaire est très attentive à vos requêtes et répond très rapidement à vos messages. Par contre, la maison n'est pas adéquat pour deux couples d'amis car pas assez d'intimité pour la salle de bain/toilettes.

Absolutely lovely!

This house is wonderful! It really is as lovely as the pictures make it out to be! Everything you could possibly need for your temporary "home away from home" is here. It was perfect for my adult daughter and I. We cooked most of meals ourselves due to my daughter's allergies, and everything we could need was available to us. The owner very kindly waited for us when we were delayed checking in, and gave us a quick tour of the neighborhood. It is a little far from the more touristy areas of Paris, but buses, the metro and the RER are only a couple of blocks away. We had a lovely time!

This apartment was truly delightful. It was the perfect location near a few restaurants and a grocery but off the beaten path. It has everything you need for exploring the sites of Paris. The location has families with children nearby and I enjoyed feeling safe and yet immersed in the local culture. Everything was just as pictured and my family loved every minute. My host was attentive to all communication and helped with anything I needed. Highly recommend if you want to feel truly immersed in Paris. I personally don’t like the hotel experience as it usually feels too impersonal and dry. This was my first Vrbo experience and it couldn’t have been more wonderful. 5 stars!
