Amazing stay! Central location and able to walk just about everywhere. Can see Notre Dame from our window and hear the church bells. Bed super comfy, shower nice and hot, and fridge great for cheeses bought for happy hour! Owner Jean-Michel always a phone call away if needed and committed to a great experience for us. Thank you!

Best VRBO Experience Ever!

As others have said, there are many great things about this apartment. The location, amenities, and especially the host are all top notch. Jean-Michel visited during our stay and made sure everything was perfect. Located in the heart of the Marais and within walking distance of Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, and other major attractions, this apartment is perfectly located. As a bonus, great restaurants, bakeries and shops are steps away, not to mention the Hotel de Ville metro and bus stations. The apartment has every convenience and appliance you can imagine and all are top quality and like new. This will be our home in Paris again in the future. Look no further!

Great apartment in great location--as advertised

I won't repeat what has been said in many reviews, summarized by nice flat in a perfect location. No real complaints--one neighbor was a bit noisy during one night of our 7 day stay, but that could happen anywhere. Despite accurate instructions provided by the host, our initial check-in was a little bit confusing for us, probably due to jet lag. So--at the front door, punch in the four digit code sent to you and push the door open, Proceed just 20 feet inside and there will be another door on your LEFT. There is another keypad just to the right of this door. Put in the second code that you were given. Push this door open and go up two flights of stairs (or go up one flight and then take the elevator). When you get to the Printemps apartment, the bar code reader is on your left. This needs the QR looking code emailed to you. Push the door open. You are in! During your stay, you can use a key for entry rather than the barcode reader. Great stay, excellent host. Highly recommend.

Expectations Exceeded

Great property, with all the charm of an old Paris apartment, but modern amenities where it counts...kitchen and bathroom. Wonderful views looking directly at Notre Dame, and Hotel de Ville. Location A+...when one arrives the worry is it would be noisy, but with the fountains in front of Hotel de Ville, and the quality of the french door like windows...NO noise issues. Jean-Michel was a wonderful host, checking in with us on occassion to ensure all was well. Location A++...as the Hotel de ville Metro stop is literally steps out your door, and you can quickly get anywhere...not to mention you have full easy access to the Marais.

Five Stars!

My wife and I stayed 7 nights at the Printemps Apartment at Rue de Rivoli near the Hotel de Ville. Long story short, we would absolutely stay there again! We had a wonderful time with this place and its convenient location in the heart of Paris. Jean and Nicole were gracious hosts! The apartment was sized just right for the two of us and held the charm of a vintage Parisian apartment, but holding the modern comforts of a fully-stocked kitchen, renovated washroom, and electrical connections for all our gadgets. Notably, the bed was quite comfortable and the room had outlets for Type A plugs (U.S.A. plugs) with USB connections as well. I didn’t have to use my travel converter! The apartment sized refrigerator was more than enough to hold any food and drink we acquired during our adventures. The view from the two large windows is second to none – you will be amazed and you can make a daily habit out of people watching from those windows. Given it’s location, it is certainly a heavy traffic area during the day, complete with emergency vehicles from the nearby police station and hospital. However, this was inconsequential compared to the convenient departure point for all of what Paris has to offer, with quick walks to the Metro, RER (city train), and bus stops. The next time we go to Paris we hope to stay here again!

Awesome Experience

This was our second stay in this flat and the location could not be better. The view of the Hotel de Ville out the windows is post-card perfect! The Metro is literally 20 steps outside the front door. The apartment itself is cozy and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay! Overall this is an outstanding property

Great location and apartment

Very well appointed and well located apartment with excellent views. Comfortable and plenty of space for us (2 people). It can be loud outside at times but the windows keep out most noise, and that's normal for such a central location. Just something to be aware of if you are sensitive to noise. For us, it's all part of being in one of the greatest cities in the world!

PERFECT LOCATION

The Hotel de Ville metro station is a stone's throw from the street entrance placing all of Paris within 30-40 minutes travel time. The Place de l'Hotel de Ville just across rue de Rivoli provides iconic vistas of 19th century Paris from the apartment windows. The apartment itself is lovely and well equipped providing the tenant with the option of do-it-yourself espresso.

Amazing Location Near Everything

We loved our stay. The location was just perfect. The people-watching looking out on the Hotel de Ville plaza and Seine river bridge were amazing! We were steps away from a metro (subway) that literally took us to every major tourist site we could want and even connected us to the train line for Normandy. Because it rained on us everyday, the close metro access really saved our trip. We were steps from so many eateries, retail stores and a grocery store. There's even a cookie shop downstairs so you can just imagine the smells of cookies wafting through. We made good use of the washer, dryer and air conditioning. The air conditioning helped us cool down after having some warm humid days. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of closet space. The hosts instructions were fantastic and we read through his entire guide because it was a really good resource. He even left a little gift basket of goodies. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot!

Like all the other reviewers, I have nothing but good things to say. First of all, the location of this apartment is superb! Near any number of museums and sights, but -- at least in early April -- without the sense of being in a tourist district. It is on the edge of the Marais, which has many expensive shops, but also plenty of decent cafes and small art galleries. The apartment itself is lovely!. Large windows overlooking La Place de L'Hotel de Ville which allows for endless people and event watching. Very tastefully furnished in a style appropriate to a classic French apartment. Comfortable bed. All very clean. The host and hostess, whom we met briefly, are very pleasant and helpful. I really can't recommend this place highly enough. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there!

Excellent apartment

We stayed a week in this apartment and found it very much to our needs. The view on Notre dame was excellent and the metro is steps away. Our only negative comments are that the furniture could use some updating and the elevator starts on the second floor. I recommend this property it is a good value.

Amazing apartment in an amazing city

The location of this apartment was perfect, right in the middle of the Marias across from City Hall. The bed was comfy and the living room and dining table allowed for a lot of room. The bed was comfortable and the view out the front windows was spectacular. The kitchen was very well equipped for those few meal that we prepared ourselves. There were basics available in the kitchen as well as some treats to help greet us! Jean-Michel took the time to meet Ius in person and was available if we had any questions. We love Paris and, iwhen we come again, we will definitely stay here again!

Amazing Apartment

The apartment had everything I needed! I appreciated all the extra dishes and cleaning. The windows with daylight and view of Notre Dame were so amazing. Its very centrally located with Metro stations steps away and lots of shopping and dining around. An ideal place for a week or so stay!

Great location

Do not think the picture showing is the actual place where you'll be staying at, The apt is located across from there, Place is cute and clean, the only issue I had was the very dirty carpet odor coming up to the apt and a problem with the dryer, after washing my clothes within 4 days of being there , the dyer stopped working ,Pierre-Michel couldn't do much cause he was out of town so he sent his grandson to help me out but he couldn't do nothing about it so i had to go purchase new stuff for my husband and I and we had to fly back to Boston with wet clothes in our suitcases.
