Good location and clean place

Sophie was great at answering inquiries! The place had great finishes and was beautiful. This is in the Grand Boulevard district. There's familiar comforts like Starbucks or American restaurant like Indiana, but also great local places. We enjoyed the location. The few negatives were lack of toilet paper, some issues with ac, and the metro was noticeably close. Overall, we really enjoyed the place and would recommend staying here.

Perfect place to spend Christmas

The location and space was just perfect for our Christmas gathering. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary amenities to cook a wonderful Christmas dinner. Highly recommended!

Great apartment in central Paris

This is a hidden gem in a great location close to at least four metros, the Galleries Lafayette and Opera. The neighbourhood has lots of cafes, bars and great galleries. The apartment is fully renovated, has decent air conditioning, and great facilities. We would highly recommend it.

Amazing apartment

The apartment is very large, bright and well furnished. You can tell that the owners take pride in it, it feels like you are at home. The location is simply perfect, with a multitude of shops and restaurants nearby. The metro station is only a few minutes away, and the galeries Lafayette 10 minutes away. The host was very responsive, and I will definitely go back to that place next time I’m in Paris

Perfect accommodations!

This apartment was so perfect! It was super clean and chic. The woman who met us was so sweet and even had a chilled bottle of good quality champagne for us! Thee rooms were big and had lots of storage. Third, the appliances were more than what we expected for a city apartment. It was a perfect place to retreat to and relax after a busy day of site seeing and shopping.

Perfect spot

We have great memories from our 4 day stay here. There were endless places to eat around, everything worked well, especially the air conditioning. I won’t say it was luxurious but it was comfortable and contrary to what I had expected, it was sufficiently peaceful too despite being on the 1st floor. There was almost non stop rumbling from the metro beneath us but oddly it didn’t really bother us. There were other noises that we couldn’t explain but again not a serious issue.

Inviting, comfortable apartment in a central location

Our family of 7 stayed here in August 2022. I miss it already! The apartment is centrally located and only a block from the metro so this makes getting around Paris especially easy. The apartment has air conditioning in all 4 bedrooms and the living room so you can cool off after a full day of sightseeing. Wi-fi worked well and I love the induction stovetop! Plenty of dishes and cutlery and the washer and dryer was a lifesaver. Wouldn't hesitate to book this place again if we come to Paris in the future. Thanks for renting us your beautiful place!

Perfect location & lots of space

Space is at a premium in a large European city, and Sophie's flat gave us plenty of room to spread out. Don't underestimate having three bathrooms when traveling with family! The listing was accurate, and the apartment was in top condition. We didn't realize how good the location was until we arrived. We were able to walk for miles in any direction, discovering all sorts of cool things along the way. Sophie will send you a check-in and check-out packet complete with step by step guides and pictures. You'll want to have those handy. The locks are not difficult to navigate... as long as you have the guide.

A huge Paris apartment

Apartment is large. It is on a busy corner so if you don’t like hi activity level it could annoy. Kitchen needs upgrading but was functional. The 1st bedroom shudders at night when metro roars thru. But other spaces are great. Location for us was excellent. The night entry was a bit dicey so make sure Sophie gives you code changes. I rated 4 instead of 5 stars because kitchen & bedroom issues.

Great location with plenty of space

Apartment is located on 1st floor of building and fronts Boulevard Montmartre. Space worked well for our family holiday of 5 adults. One bedroom has ensuite bath and two baths are in hall. Kitchen was well equipped if we had wanted to cook evening meals in the unit. Street noise was minimal, especially with storm windows closed and building was quiet in evenings. Location is convenient to many of Paris's landmarks. A few blocks from Palais Garnier, Galleries Lafayette, Louvre +/-15 minute walk and many others. Easily walkable to Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and Latin Quarter too. There are several small markets, wine shops, and boulangeries within a few blocks of the apartments as well as a variety of cafes and brasseries. We would be happy to stay here again in the future.

I didn't sleep for weeks

what is mysteriously left out of the property description is that the apartment is build over the Metro - so starting at 5:30am I would hear a thundering sound which shook every room in the apt. Then EVERY 2 and a half minutes another train comes through pulsing, vibrating and shaking the apartment. as this apt is on the 1st floor this was very disturbing. originally I had planned to have guests since there are 4 bedrooms, but they had to find hotels instead. I asked the property manager to find someone else to rent this but they declined. after 2 weeks I had to rent another apt because the lack of sleep was affecting my work. unless you are hard of hearing I would not recommend this apt.

fabulous location a few things to know about

The location is fabulous. The apartment is clean and spacious and ideal for families or friends. There are a few things to know about. 1. there are very limited towels both bathing and dish towels. 2. the kitchen appliances are wonderful. 3. the living room furniture is very limited and uncomfortable. 4. when the windows are closed there is very little street noise. 5. the heat and air con work well. 6. you can hear and slightly feel the subway from most of the apartment. This was not a problem for me or my friends or family but renters should know about it. 6. from time to time there are loud buzzing sounds that come from the outside of the building....it may be the air conditioning pumps for the building. I am unsure. It bothered one of the couples staying with us. But none of the other people were troubled. 7. the elevator is small but excellent. 8. the building security is great. 9. extremely close to a convenient subway station. 10. for americans who have children or want mcdonalds/starbucks/chipotle/kfc....these are right across the street. A delightful stay if the small downsides don't trouble you

Experience in Paris

My horrible experience at the flat in Paris from Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 6:15 P M until I departed on Wednesday, Nov 13 at 6:30 A M will be outlined. When we arrived at 6:15 P M both keys were in our possession. The lock on the door was broken, and we could see small pieces of wood in the chamber. While my family tried to remove the wood pieces, I called the host, leaving messages and sent emails. The host did not respond. During the evening we spoke with three different VRBO agents who tried to reach the host with out success. A friend called a locksmith who said he would come and he arrived at about 10:45 and replaced the lock and I paid him with my euros. We went to bed and someone come at the door to fix "our problem". I told him that I had done so and ask him to leave. I did not have a call from the host until Monday at 2 PM. Almost 20 hours from being locked out. The emotional toll on me and my family was devastating which prevented me from leaving the flat at all until I departed on Wednesday. VRBO reimbursed me for the 418 euros for the lock and 1/2 of the fee from Sunday night, which is not satisfactory. I expect to be compensated for the days of my holiday that were destroyed.

Relaxing oasis

Everything was spotless again. This was our second stay with my family. The location is convenient to shopping, restaurants and metro.

Great location, comfortable accommodations

There was plenty of space for the 5 of us and we found most of what we needed to cook some great meals at home. The apartment was clean and comfortable.
