Lovely hotel in Le Marais
Very nice hotel in the heart of Le Marais. Old style with a lot of charm, the bed was very comfortable. For breakfast you have a fantastic orange juice machine to prepare it extremely fresh.

Muy bien ubicado
El hotel está muy bien ubicado. El personal de recepción y desayuno es muy amable. Al desayuno le agregaría una tostadora. La limpieza no es muy buena y le falta mantenimiento al hotel. La habitación fue muy pequeña.

Good ubication but no air conditioning
This is a good hotel, maybe in winter or autumn when the temperature is not that hot. However, in summer, is very, very hot. No air conditioning in the room, just a little fan that doesn't make much of a difference. The hotel is in a very convenient location, near of Notre Dame, and there is a lot of good restaurants and cafes near of it.

Un Hotel agradable en París.
Pasamos 6 días espectaculares en el Hotel de la Bretonnerie. Muy cómodos alojados con buen servicio del hotel. El desayuno no lo teníamos incluido pero lo probamos el primer día y como resultó muy bueno, desayunamos todos los días en el Hotel. La ubicación es excelente.

Hotel bien ubicado
Es un hotel pequeño, localizado en mitad de una zona con mucha vida y cerca de muchas cosas famosas de París. No tiene grandes servicios pero es más que suficiente para pasar en París tres o cuatro días.

A lovely room in a great area. The room safe didn't work and despite my best efforts, the hotel staff were not interested in helping. So nice but expect the personal touch.

Supermarket next door was very convenient. Stayed only one night but staff was very helpful and place was nice. Afraid it may be too warm in summer but other than that it was a good stay.

Property has a fantastic location for ease of access to public transportation and major museums. Because of its location in the city it could be a little noisy at night. Breakfast was great. Staff were delightful and accommodating.

Perfect place to stay in Paris (family of 4, kids aged 16 & 13). Walking distance to Hotel de Ville Metro & Notre Dame just across the river. Our room was enormous compared to others we have seen in Paris. Will look forward to staying here again!

Hôtel très bien situé. Chambre petite, propre, avec équipement et literie un peu anciens. J’ai bien dormi. Salle de bain propre et excellente douche. Petit déjeuner correct dans belle salle de sous-sol voûtée. Personnel pro et aimable, sans jovialité

highly recommended
This is a delightfully charming, small hotel in a perfect location, central to everything and yet in a quiet location in the Marais. While it isn't elegant, it offers excellent value and comfort. The only caveat is that it doesn't offer air conditioning (as with many older small hotels in Paris) but does provide a decent fan. This is of not an issue except during the warmest periods.

Makes You Feel Like France!
Lovely space. It was so hot in Paris but there was no AC so I had to ask for multiple fans (it was 91F / 33C in my room even with the window open and some air moving). If you're there, eat at Benedict (across the street) and have a drink at the cocktail bar (just down the street).

Will not stay again
I had stayed in this hotel before but I will not stay here again. The location is very good, but that is the only thing going for it. The bedrooms do not have AC; they are very small (no room to open your suitcase). The glass tumbler in the bathroom was cracked. Not the hotel's fault but the people in the room next door were drunk and tried to open the communicating door at 3am. The breakfast is cheap (15 EUR) but is not worth that. The wifi was too weak for me to log on from my room. The front desk person was charming when i checked in and borderline rude on the enxt day when I checked out.

Good location for walking and seeing Paris. I wish the hotel had air conditioning because it was incredibly hot. The rooms are small but clean. The staff is excellent. All things considered I think this was a good hotel for us.

Lovely hotel overall (except for the bed issue discussed below) in a great neighborhood with so much right outside the door: restaurants, cafes, shopping, museums, and a grocery store next door. Walkable from the metro/RER. Very quiet with double paned windows. Clean but hallway carpet could use cleaning, although this was minor. Beautiful wine cellar turned in to a breakfast room. Our only major issue was one of the twin beds was actually a strange, saggy cot with two couch cushions on it for a "mattress" that would separate when lying on it, and it was horribly uncomfortable. We were two people and there were 3 beds in the room so this wasn't an issue for us, but even a small child would have back pain on this "bed." Do not expect that a third person can use the saggy cot. Even just sitting on it was uncomfortable due to sagging. It needs to be removed. The other twin bed was jammed under the flight of stairs with the refrigerator as the head of the bed. Not ideal but workable. Anyone over 5'10" could not sleep in the twin under the stairs. We booked the triple room that had the double bed in a loft up a flight of stairs (room 3). Only suitable for 1-2 people sharing the double bed in the loft. Friendly, helpful staff. Umbrellas available when it rained. No a/c in our room, but the fans kept it cool. Lovely large windows, cozy reception area, hot water and nice shower, and we loved that it was quiet, even though our room faced the bustling street.
