The studio is in an ideal location within easy walking distance of the Louvre, the d’Orsay and l’Orangerie as well as bus and Metro stops. It is well stocked. We were greeted with a baguette, several types of fruit, and butter and cream in the refrigerator. It is beautifully decorated with French art and antiques. The hosts, Sophie and François, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend this apartment.

Charming and centrally located

The apartment was absolutely gorgeous. Sophie was very flexible and charming. She went above and beyond in every respect! We will definitely be staying here when we come back :)

Everything We Hoped For and More

We absolutely loved our stay. The suite is just as lovely as the photos show. Sophie is a wonderful and gracious host. We can't say enough about our stay. The suite is literally walking distance from everything you could want to see, right in the heart of Paris. Can't wait to go back.

Absolutely terrific

Sophie was such a wonderful host. We will definitely stay here again. She provided all the needs for our stay plus a notebook of suggestions of attractions and dining. I’d give this stay 10 stars

Beautiful studio apartment in Palais Royale

Very gracious hosts who provided a comfortable, beautiful apartment with thoughtful touches to make us feel welcome. The historic building is in the first arrondissment is close to restaurants, sights, the Louvre and metro and bus stops. We can’t wait to return!

It's Good To Be The King

The history of the place is amazing! Our hosts had wonderful stories about the building and surrounding areas. The location is fantastic. Truly in the center of Paris. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Life in a Palace!

We enjoyed our stay in this charming studio of Old World charm. The host, Sophie, is very thoughtful and welcoming: fruit, chocolate, a baguette, and other treats were waiting for we jet-lagged travelers. She was helpful with recommendations and made us feel at home. The neighborhood is fabulous!

Beyond special and the most lovely location

Our hostess greeted us and helped set the stage for the most wonderful 5 days in Paris. After miles of walking sightseeing and visiting several museums, the neighborhood had a lot to offer in terms of cafes for breakfast, lunch or dinner and nightlife.

Wonderful one bedroom apartment!

It was mine and my husband’s first time in France, and this apartment was so lovely and in a great area! Sophie was very kind, and made sure we had everything we needed - including a baguette when we arrived! We would love to stay here again when we return to Paris, and highly recommend staying here to future travelers.

Great location

We prefer to walk and we were close to most of the places we wanted to visit. For those who don’t want to walk, Paris Metro is awesome and there is a station less than 5 min away with 2 lines to take you anywhere you want to go.The studio was equipped with everything you need. Sophie was great and provided us with numerous recommendations. We will stay there again in the future.

This exquisite little studio is beautifully furnished, intelligently laid out, fully equipped and located in the cultural heart of Paris. 2 subway lines and multiple bus lines are a mere 5-minute walk away.

The perfect Paris experience

Charming apartment in historic bldg. Good neighborhood, centrally located, well maintained common areas - I felt safe and comfortable. Sophie was very helpful, kind and an excellent hostess. Would love to return for a longer stay - highly recommend!

The place to stay in Paris

The apartment is charming, the hosts are warm, wonderful and helpful, and the location has to be the best in Paris. It's safe, lovely, and It's a walk from everything: great cafes, the Louvre, the Tuileries Garden, the Seine, Notre Dame, the Left Bank, the Eiffel Tower ..... I would stay there again, and again. Enjoy!

A very enjoyable stay!

We adored this apartment, and our hosts, Sophie and Francois, were so friendly and welcoming, and genuinely cared about their guests. The apartment, as other reviewers have said, is beautifully decorated, and close to everything you need. We also found it to be very quiet. The little treats left for us were very much appreciated, and not having to go out straight away to buy basic supplies is a real plus when arriving in a new city. Sophie was very quick to respond to messages, very flexible with arrangements, and there is a wealth of information about Paris provided in the apartment. A very enjoyable stay!

The hosts were exemplary! We arrived earlier then the scheduled arrival time and were graciously met at the home by Sophie and Francois. Access to the apartment was earlier was very much appreciated as we were exhausted. The apartment as shown in pictures is accurate; it is absolutely beautiful! Ms. Sophie and her husband have compiled a wealth of information about the surrounding area(s) including many resturant reviews by former guests. Although this is not our first time in Paris the information provided to us by the hosts was invaluable, particularly the informatuion surrounding the iconic passages . We are history buffs and also appreciated the volumes on Paris, books on historic furnishings, art etc. Now for the apartment: the bed was fantastic, it's one of those with individual controls. Great to alleviate the hubby's snoring! The kitchen is a galley kitchen but with all that's needed. We loved this place and will be sure to return. Fresh sheets and towels were provided at the end of the week. A laundromat is right around the corner as well. Thank-you Ms. Sophie and Mr. Francois for making this a most enjoyable stay. Our paths will cross again!!

Sweet Suite in a fabulous location!

We stayed 10 nights in our lovely “pied de terre!” It was a fabulous location for all our walking travels around Paris. When you’re only about a block and a half from the Louvre, it doesn’t get much better! I would not hesitate to recommend it to friends visiting Paris.

Perfect stay at Palais-Royal

Our stay at Palais Royal was exceptional. The property is elegant, impeccably maintained, and full of charm. It strikes the perfect balance of comfort and sophistication. What truly set our experience apart were the hosts, Sophie and François. Their warmth, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcome. From the local treats to helpful area guides, every touch was thoughtful. Their passion for their home, their city and for hosting is clear, and they exceeded all expectations. We left feeling rested, grateful, and eager to return. Palais Royal is a rare gem and so are its amazing hosts.
