The location of this property is fantastic! Close to St Michel Metro stop, walking distance to Notre Dame, Sainte-Chapelle and the Louvre. Unit is clean and kitchen is very sparse. Host is very responsive! No shortage of restaurants nearby!Genuine Paris experience! Small, cramped, quirky, not a 5-star experience. Stairs are VERY tricky with luggage. Note that it is 4 full flights of stairs. Last flight has no handrail. Problems Experienced: Shower did not drain fast and flooded bathroom. Host resolved it. Some lights did not work. Also was resolved. TV did not function first day. Reported it, but did not check again later. I was in Paris!!!Quirks: One window in the living room area does not close and latch. Unnerving, but no problem experienced. No appreciable view from the unit. Shower window is almost a direct view into a neighboring unit. Stairs are custom made / uneven and require attention when using. No stopper in the bathroom sink - do not drop a contact lens! Some mold in the shower corners and ceiling.If you want a more genuine Paris experience, this is your place! If you want 4 or 5 star comfort and amenities, you'll be disappointed.

Perfect Parisian getaway!

This flat was the perfect size for my husband, father in law, two kids and I. We had a view right onto the streets of Paris. Having a washer on site was so convenient! It was rather hot the weekend we were there so the lack of ac was a bit of a struggle, but luckily they provide fans which were very useful. We loved feeling like locals during our stay.

The location was perfect for our family of four. 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The flat is near everything you would desire such as restaurants, cafes, bakeries, grocery stores and quick takeaway options. It is also near 3 different metro lines as well as the RER which runs to CDG. We got a navigo decouverte pass for the week and it worked out wonderful. Only drawbacks to the place is that it is located on the 4th floor and it is a tight staircase. It was alright for us because we are in somewhat shape but I could see this being a challenge for many. The other drawback is that there is no AC. We got lucky and missed a heat wave but by the end of our stay it was hot and we had all the windows open but it is pretty load at night and it gets load in the morning with street cleaning and other action starting up.Getting the keys was not a problem. Just have to read the instructions. We did not use the TV or stove. The fridge was good to keep drinks in it for the morning or after a long day of site seeing. Overall is was a fantastic location. Close to many sites. We were able to walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre. Close to the metro and most importantly so much life and action in the neighborhood. I would recommend staying here, just have to be able to handle the stairs.

Very disappointing stay – would not recommendThe apartment was extremely small, which we expected to some degree, but the biggest issue by far was the bathroom. There is no proper ventilation, and while there is a window, you can’t open it because it’s completely taken over by pigeons. The ledge is covered in bird droppings, and the birds literally stare at you while you shower — it’s as unpleasant as it sounds. The smell in the bathroom was awful and made us feel unwell during our stay.When we arrived, the TV wasn’t working. A new one had been left in a box, but I had to install it myself — not something you want to do on vacation. One afternoon, the water was shut off for over two hours without any warning or explanation.The apartment is also located directly above a Chinese restaurant, which makes the entire space smell like fryer oil. When taking out the trash, there’s even a warning note explaining that rats have taken over the pipes, which honestly says a lot.Support was minimal and unhelpful throughout the stay. Overall, this was a very poor experience and I would not recommend this property to anyone.⸻Let me know if you’d like a softer version or one tailored for a different tone (e.g. more humorous or more formal).

Great Location

Location was absolutely fabulous! The beds were comfortable and the place is just as advertised. Some considerations: there is no AC, which is not unusual in Paris, but it was in the high 90's when we were there so we were uncomfortable. I was not particularly fond of the key and access. I had to walk a few blocks to get the key in a coded lockbox in a laundromat, and they only provide one key for the apartment. It wasn't that big a deal - just not ideal. Finally, there is a pigeon roosting outside the tiny bathroom window. We thought it was gross at first due to the pigeon poop on the sill, but grew fond of her and named her Mahtilde. Once she's done, the owner should clean out the window and put something there to prevent further roosting!

Paris Adventure

Had a quick girls trip with 3 friends in Paris and the apartment was great. Location is perfect, on the left bank by all the restaurants, shops and museums to visit. The apartment is on the top floor without an elevator, something to be mindful of for anyone visiting with mobility issues. The water was hot and the pressure was good which are important to me. We messaged with the host a couple of times and they were quick to respond. Overall our stay was great and safe and I would recommend staying at the apartment.

Shabby small apt 5 floors up no elevator

The only good thing about this apt was location. We added a guest and paid for it and requested additional linens for that person, none were delivered. The check in and drop off of the key was cumbersome. Try dragging your bags 5 floors up, no elevator. they told us it was on the 2nd floor with an elevator. There were bugs in the bathroom and the mattresses were lumpy and saggy Terrible hosts would not give us more than one key so we had to constantly coordinate or go together instead of enjoying some separate outings. We paid over 5k for this dump and I don't think that it meets VRBO standards. Also smaller than the pics and unsafe, no handrails on the stairs going to the upper building and the lamp upstairs did not work.

Paris Apartment-St. Germain

This rental was very dirty. The shower floods and has a very strong, unpleasant odor coming from the drain. There were bugs crawling out of the shower drain while you showered, The shower also will flood the bathroom and will run into the living quarters. A pigeon nest and pigeon waste appears made the bathroo window unopenable, thus containing the terrible odor. The kitchen and the bathroom sinks were dirty. Be aware that the kitch table is not well attached, which challenges stability for dishes. The beds were great. The neighborhood was excellent. I would recommend this location.

Nice place with great proximity to Paris sights

The location and apartment were perfect for our family of 4. Minutes from Notre Dame and the Paris subway. Apartment was clean and well furnished. I would recommend to travelers looking for a home base while seeing the city.

Bon emplacement et fidèle à la description

Passé la peur qu'il s'agisse d'un scam après avoir déposé 800 euros sur une plateforme que je ne connaissais pas et de multiples échanges avec le propriétaire dans différentes langues et toujours avec des messages automatique, j'ai été agréablement surprise par cet appartement qui est bien fidèle à la description. Un bémol sur la literie qui serait peut être tenps de changer.

En tur å huske!

Vi hadde en fantastisk tid i denne leiligheten! Beliggenheten var perfekt, og vi følte oss helt trygge som to kvinner på reise. Selve stedet er nydelig, med en kul interiørstil og alt vi trengte. Det var superenkelt å komme inn, ingen problemer i det hele tatt. Leiligheten overgikk virkelig forventningene våre – den har tre komfortable soverom, som passet perfekt for vår store familie. Den rommet oss fem komfortabelt, og de hadde til og med en barneseng klar, noe som var en hyggelig detalj. Rommene er lyse og åpne, og du er bare noen skritt unna koselige kafeer til frokost eller middag. I tillegg er mange av Paris' største severdigheter innen gangavstand. Innsjekkingen var enkel med klare instruksjoner. Verten og teamet deres var veldig vennlige og alltid klare til å hjelpe, noe som gjorde oppholdet vårt enda bedre!
