The perfect home base
This is an amazing find. Such a great location. The location is amazing. The rental is well equipped with lots of space for a family of 4. The owner and greeter were very easy to connect with and very friendly. We would come back again.

2nd time, still a charm!
This was our family's second time staying here -just wonderful spot for those looking for something larger, and more comfortable for larger groups. The apartment is nicely decorated, very clean- and the neighborhood is getting more busy with cafes, cool places to eat, etc... can't recommend more highly. Caveat... it's a third floor walk up with winding stairs, and the upstairs bed rooms also require a walk up a narrow (and beautiful) circular stairway. Other than those considerations, do not hesitate to book here- it's wonderful- we will be back again!

Great apartment in Le Marais
This was our first trip to Paris and the apartment was the perfect home base! Walk to Metro, attractions like the Picasso Museum and Louvre, great restaurants. The temps were moderate in Paris during our visit so it was comfortable in the apartment (it is not air-conditioned). Key pick-up was seamless. It was everything we could have asked for in a Parisian apartment and would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Paris!

Great apartment
Great location and spacious and clean apartment. It’s very comfortable and easily accommodated our family of four and our kids even had their own bedroom!! Nice to have the greeter meet us there and give a tour of the home. The host was responsive. Very nice home!

Location, location, location ... and size!
Stayed 3 nights with our teenage son and daughter. Everything we needed was there. Close to metro, grocery, shops and restaurants. Large place for Paris. Very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Great short stay
Fabulous, characterful, comfortable, safe, very well equipped apartment with fantastic facilities. Location great, walking distance from everything you need. One day we walked all the way to the Eiffel Tower! On a busier street than expected so there was some street noise late at night. Failed to get the TV to work at all despite help from property manager. Overall had a memorable stay.

Great apartment in a great location
My family and I stayed at this apartment last week for a super short stay in Paris. There were 4 of us so we wanted some space, and this is much more affordable than two hotel rooms! This is the second time we have stayed on this street in Le Marais, and we will be back. The location is fantastic! 2 blocks from Le Georges Pompidou, walkable to many destinations or else an easy Uber/Taxi or Metro ride. I had to communicate frequently the day of arrival as I did not know exactly when were leaving our previous location, and Victoria was always super responsive. The apartment was well maintained, spacious and most importantly, very clean! The only comments I have of warning: There are 2 full winding staircases (some are tilted) before you reach the apartment which might make it difficult for some especially with luggage. Also, the staircase inside the apartment to reach the upstairs is beautiful but does need to be reinforced for safety. (Definitely keep the current staircase - it's a gorgeous statement within the room!) The loft would only be usable by some but my son enjoyed investigating the "secret room." All beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of available towels. The only issue we had was that either the TV system or the remote was broken (we tried changing the batteries, etc.) This would have been a problem for a longer stay (we like to unwind after a long day) but I told Victoria not to worry for us. She responded very quickly to the text message when I reached out! Do not hesitate to stay in this lovely apartment - you won't regret your choice!

Amazing apartment in the perfect location!
Everything about our week in Paris was perfect, starting with this wonderful property. I had rented places in Le Marais before, but this one exceeded my expections (and my other experiences). From check-in to check-out, things could not have gone more smoothly. Extremely response owner and manager. I'll be recommending this to all my friends!

Great location
Communication leading up to and during our stay was excellent. Apartment is very much as described, so I advise reading carefully. Would not stay here with small children or anyone who isn’t physically fit. Lack of air conditioning (to be expected given age and charm of building) was issue for us, but obviously this would not be an issue other times of year. Location was wonderful.

Convenient location
This property is a great deal for families. The apartment is well equipped and in a convenient location. There are many stairs both inside and out, so I do not recommend it for people with any sort of mobility issues or health constraints. We arrived during a terrible heat wave, but the fans in each room made it bearable. It was also PRIDE in Paris and a very popular gay bar is just two doors down. On the day/night of the parade, the bar was hopping all night long and the street were filled with people and partying until 4:00am. Because of the heat wave, we couldn’t close the windows to block the noise. So, if you’re looking for a great place to stay during Paris PRIDE, this is definitely the place to be! I should say, that the noise was only a problem for us on that one night. Otherwise it was a perfect stay. And I imagine that if you were staying during colder weather, the closed windows would block any noise issues completely.

C'est Parfait!
This apartment is absolutely magical. It's enormous for a Paris apartment (and we've stayed in many over the years!), and so beautifully appointed, from its soaring, wood-beamed ceilings to the thoughtful decoration, which is both elegant and comfortable. Located on a quiet street but only a street in either direction from the larger thoroughfares, we couldn't have asked for a more elegant, quieter, or more convenient space to which to return after days running around Paris. The host was wonderful about being in touch, and the greeter, Victoria, is incredibly warm and helpful, even appearing to say goodbye to us early in the morning. The instructions about the apartment and the neighborhood could not have been clearer or more informative for those who may be first time visitors. The apartment was pristine, from the kitchen to the linens. This is an absolute gem. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else during our visits to Paris!

Good location near shops
Have to walk 3 flights of stairs to get to apartment. Host was nice. Check in day of arrival could have been easier if we were sent gate code to enter gates instead of waiting outside the building for the host to arrive. Furniture is not as new as the picture shows. They appear faded now. It was a nice place, but not as luxury as expected. Shops, pharmacy, subway within walking distance.

Thanks for your feedback. Here are some reverts from me: Some info have already been given to you prior to your booking and to your arrival at our home. 1. I have highlighted the 2 flights of stairs up to our apartment on my profile. If you have given them a read, you would have been aware as this is an important point for all our guests. 2. The gate codes (2 of them) were sent to you before your arrival in my welcome email that I send out to all my guests ( including yourself) prior to their arrival plus with other pertinent info. This is done to ease their arrival at our home. 3. We are not a hotel and as a VRBO apartment with many plusses, we try our best to give the best to our guests. Most people take advantage of our home as there are 4 rooms and price wise (yours was a big group of 4 adults and 2 kids) , it is still more economical to stay at ours then to book 3 rooms at a hotel in a nice, prestigious, historic location as ours near to all creature comforts. As such, you cannot expect an all-out 'luxurious' stay. What you will get is a lot of charm and originality/history and a fully equipped homey comfort.

Our stay in Marais Paris
My wife, Sister and Nephew found a great place to stay in Marais near Notre Dame which allowed us to walk or take the subway to most attractions. We visited Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Arc du Triompe, the Eiffel Towel, and Sacre Cour - all without issue. We returned to a roomy, clean, comfortable four bedroom unit with working washing machine and drier and two showers. This place was very convenient and Victoria was quite helpful checking us in and educating us through the check-in process. She also help to arrange our Taxi to the airport on our last morning - Thank you Victoria. All, Thanks for the great stay! Myron Cheesebourough

Amazing Paris apartment
Had a great stay in this lovely apartment. Clean, well appointed, great neighbourhood, and not at all noisy like I’ve read in many reviews about staying in Le Marais. Our only (insignificant) challenge was contacting the greeter upon our arrival and to advise her of a couple of small items during our stay. We had bought a SIM card when we arrived in Belgium (so had a Belgian phone number), when I called to alert about our arrival it was a different number than my Canadian number I used for the booking so the greeter did not recognize it, and didn’t pick up the call. Everything worked out just fine, but worth noting: alert the owner if you plan to have a phone number different than your usual contact number. We are actually returning to this apartment on the weekend (after a week stay in the south) and am very excited to return! Highly recommend staying here (we were 3 adults and 2 kids).

A bonus in Paris!
The apt is clean & well-equipped (great kitchen & bathroom) and situated great to walk to famous sights or take the Metro. The master is large by European standards yet the upstairs bedrooms are small & not for hefty luggage--travel light! We were appreciative that the host worked with our international coming/going making the travel easier. Be aware the apt grouping is on a tight 1-way street when you consider arrival & departure, particularly if driving. Although the weather wasn't too warm, still, I thank you for the fan to keep air circulating on rainy days! The plethora of restaurants a short walk away were a bonus.

Perfect location for family of 5
Apartment was perfect for our family of 5 -- great location! (Would caution anyone with mobility issues that there are two flights of stairs to climb to reach apartment, but that was not an issue for us!). Especially appreciated the ability to drop our bags off before the official check in time so we could go out and explore and willingness to help us recover a couple of items left behind by mistake. Would definitely stay again.

Quintessential Paris experience
We stayed for 5 nights in December, two adults and two children, and we loved it. Coming into the secure courtyard and up the very old double flights of stairs prepped us well for this amazing historic Le Marais home. We were immediately and warmly greeted upon arrival, and given good information to navigate heating, the washer and dryer, etc. The home has such historic flavor with the beautiful wood floors and old beams throughout, and it was a joy to go through and discover. The kids were thrilled with the spiral staircase and played excitedly in the third floor room (up a ladder stair) for over an hour. The main bedroom on the first floor was spacious and had ample storage for our belongings. We happily found the bed to be comfortable with warm and snuggly bedding. The kids slept in the two twin beds upstairs. While the home is lovely, it's really the location that makes it incredible. Within half a block is everything you'll need - a G20 'supermarket', fromagerie, boulangeries, pattisseries, restaurants, and other shops. We can attest after sourcing every dinner from within a 5 minute walk that the cheese, baguettes, sandwiches, quiches, pastries, wine, and basically everything we tried were amazing. And, we had my mother and sister in law over for several dinners and we all fit just fine. It is very close to the Pompidou, metro, and bus for transit (we went to Notre Dame on foot, Eiffel Tower, Montmartre/Sacre Coeur, Louvre, and Versailles via public transit). We only took Uber once to go to the train station to take the Eurostar to London. We all had a wonderful experience here!

Wonderful apartment!
We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for our family of five. Check in process was easy and Victoria even arranged a taxi to the airport for our departure. Location was wonderful for walking and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

Exceeded our expectations! Roomy, comfortable and well located
We had an exceptional experience staying at this location. The owner was very responsive and informative in all communications leading up to our stay. Victoria, was a pleasure to meet when we arrived and made sure we had all our questions answered, assuring us that we could contact her throughout our stay with any needs. We had more room than we needed. The apartment was lovely, with plenty of room in the bedrooms and bathrooms. We even took advantage of the kitchen a bit. Pay for the large space, amenities - quality was mediocre
Space was large, especially for the Marias district. Good amenities - separate washer and dryer, freezer, dishwasher, multiple toilets. Quality was disappointing - couches were tired and stained. Bed was comfortable. Greeter was very hurried upon arrival and spent very little time explaining the apartment. Two lights in living area did not work - no response from greeter. First 2 nights upon arrival it was warm and we opened the bedroom windows for ventilation but the street was very noisy. When it cooled down and windows were closed, no problem. Information book in the apartment was very comprehensive but several entries were out of date. We enjoyed the space but expected higher quality for the price.

We try our best to give the best service to our guests and make them feel at home in our own home with all the amenities- just like when we lived in it. Just some clarifications here- a. the two lights in the living area were working and our Greeter Victoria had shown you that the switches needed to be pressed continually so that the light brightens. b. we had the couches cover changed recently - there are no stains. We were not able to get the exact same color, hence one of the colors is a shade lighter so it looks slightly not 100% consistent but only if you look really closely. c. re the ventilation, this is a 17th Century built 'hotel particulier' (homes lived in by aristocrats before) and it comes with its lovely quirks and charm. Victoria our greeter, had opened all windows and fans for you upon your arrival and it was still thick summer weather when you were there, and you do get used to the 'temperature' after a while. It cools down a lot after 5pm. With our apartment, you need to appreciate the charm and experience of living in a 300 year old historical home with full fitted modern amenities and close to all the creature comforts in an atmospheric and village-like neighbourhood just a hop away from fab restaurants, local markets, pâtisseries, boulangeries, galleries, shopping, museums, and close enough to all main visits in Paris- that extra factor is really hard to beat!

Wonderful location, and the apartment is so well appointed. Our greeter, Victoria was very helpful. The apartment is charming, and everything was so clean. Would definately recommend this to anyone who isn't fearful of the circular staircase. Loved staying here

Stairs were a barrier for my Mom and sister. The rest of us had no issues with them. English speaking channels were few. Victoria responded quickly and was helpful. Loved the history and charm of the apartment. Close to the Metro, grocery and restaurants. Enjoyed the ambiance and culture of the city

Fabulous apartment
We were only in Paris for a long weekend and we found this charming triplex to be ideally located to all that we wanted to do. It was clean, Victoria the greeter, worked hard to accommodate us when we got there 1/2 an hour early. The apt. was just what it looks like on line, lots of beams and wood, a well appointed kitchen, and lots of books on Paris for help getting around the city. The book left for guests tells you everything you need to know. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

GREAT APARTMENT IN A GREAT PART OF PARIS!
We are a family of 5 and spent there 4 days. We loved the place. Everything in the description is true. Kitchen is well stocked with high end appliances and everything you may need for basic cooking. The only concern is if someone in your group is elderly or has a physical disability, arthritis etc may not be able to make it up the fairely narrow spiral staircase on the 2nd floor. Was not an issue for us. Out of my few stays in Paris I loved this area the most. We WALKED to Pompidou center, Notre Dame, Louvre, Latin Quarter but enjoyed the most Marais itself. Start walking in the direction of National Archive and you will see... Would return in a heartbeat. Greeter Victoria was lovely. Communication with owner-excellent.

Lovely Marais Apartment
Our family of five (two adults and a 17,15 and 12 year old) spent three days in this beautifully appointed apartment in the Marais section of Paris. It was a great set up for a family. Nice large common area, spacious bedroom on the main floor. Two smaller bedrooms and a bathroom with an additional loft on the second floor. Location is fantastic, walking to lots of shopping and museums, restaurants and close to public transportation. We highly recommend and would definitely go back. This is ideal for an active family - lots of stairs but was not an issue for us. The owner had let us know beforehand - so there were no surprises. Everything worked out beautifully for our stay. Super Charming, very roomy place to stay!
Absolutely lovely residence! Charming in every way! Host was excellent with communicating, no troubles at all finding it, or gaining access. I want to come back! A few things to note which may effect your stay 1) The street is very narrow (as with most Paris side streets, to fit one way traffic), so you won't have a long time to offload luggage. Not a big deal, as there are wider streets just down the block, just something to consider upon arrival. 2) If you are traveling with anyone who has an aversion to stairs, take note that the unit is two flights up, and the upper bedrooms are accessed by winding staircase. Again- not at all an issue for us, but we travelled with a lot of luggage in preparation for a longer journey and it was something we had to manage. Otherwise, its a great Paris landing spot for a larger group to set out from and tour the beautiful city! We LOVED it there, THANK YOU!

Wonderful apartment in a great location
We completely enjoyed our stay in this very charming apartment. It was very comfortable for our family of four and very well appointed with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. It is close to all the sites and the neighborhood is terrific. We highly recommend this property!

Great location!
Lovely place. Located only one metro station from Notre Dame. Perfect location, loved having a washer and dryer. There was a very nice greeter, Victoria.
